Billionaire: You're Telling Me You're the Crown Prince of Kyoto

261: They temporarily hid, but then met. After the Dragon Soul Mercenary Group gathered more than half of its members, it immediately rushed toward the country where Mu Qingcheng and her group were located.

”Brother Jing, the roads for leaving have been blocked. If we continue traveling, we might be discovered. What should we do next?”

The crew members saw that the entire country was in chaos. The Official Authorities were currently at a disadvantage, and the Caesar Armed Forces had gained the upper hand. The crew members immediately looked at Brother Jing, wanting to ask him what they should do next.

”Find a place to hide. As long as we wait for rescue, we will be able to survive.”

Brother Jing announced this decision after a moment of consideration.

It was too chaotic right now. If they continued driving away, it would be extremely dangerous. The only way was to find a place to hide. As long as the rescue Mu Qingcheng mentioned arrived, they would be able to successfully survive.

”I support Brother Jing.”

Mu Qingcheng heard Brother Jing’s decision and immediately voiced her support.

She also understood that aside from Brother Jing, the entire crew had no combat ability. If they were captured, they would have no way to resist. Next, they could only try their best to hide and avoid being discovered by the Caesar Armed Forces.

”We all support Brother Jing’s idea.”

Upon hearing Mu Qingcheng’s words, the crew members all voiced their support.

Everyone in the crew knew that Mu Qingcheng had already called for rescue.

Mu Qingcheng’s rescue was in the Middle East, and their hope of survival rested on Mu Qingcheng’s rescue, so naturally, they wouldn’t contradict her.

”Abandon all vehicles, only take all the food and water. Next, we will hide inside these houses. No one is allowed to move around freely, and even if you hear any noise, you must not reveal yourselves.”

Seeing that the crew members had all agreed, Brother Jing quickly issued the command.

”Understood.”

Upon receiving Brother Jing’s order, the crew members quickly followed his instructions and discarded everything, only taking the food and water from the vehicles, and intending to leave everything else behind.

Brother Jing and Mu Qingcheng quickly found a secluded house, and all the crew members hid inside, waiting for the rescue to arrive.

While Brother Jing and Mu Qingcheng’s group were hiding, the sounds of gunfire and artillery constantly echoed outside, indicating extreme chaos.

Hearing these noises, every crew member trembled, not daring to speak or go out to see what was happening outside.

The war outside continued.

The location where the crew was hiding had not been discovered yet, and time quickly passed.

A few hours felt like several years to the crew members.

”Brother Long, where are you?”

The private plane carrying Jiang Chuan finally landed in the country, and he contacted the Dragon Soul Mercenary Group immediately.

”Xiao Chuan, have you arrived?”

The Dragon Soul Mercenary Group already knew that Jiang Chuan had taken a private plane to the battlefield and asked him a question in surprise.

”Yes, Brother Long, I have arrived at the battlefield. Where are you located now?”

”We have already reached the battlefield and are currently helping the Official Authorities deal with the Caesar Armed Forces.”

”Good. I wonder if you have managed to contact Mu Qingcheng.”

Jiang Chuan already knew that Mu Qingcheng’s group had lost contact two hours earlier, so he asked.

”We don’t know yet. The members of the Dragon Soul Mercenary Group are currently eliminating the Caesar Armed Forces while searching for Sister-in-law.”

The Dragon Soul Mercenary Group also shook its head, not knowing where Mu Qingcheng’s group was now, as the war had caused them to lose contact with each other.

”I understand.”

Jiang Chuan nodded after hearing the Dragon Soul Mercenary Group’s words, and then immediately entered the battlefield.

”Brother Jing, the gunfire outside has lessened. Has our reinforcement arrived?”

The crew members had lost contact with the outside world, and hearing the sounds of gunfire and artillery lessen, someone spoke up and asked.

”It’s unclear for now.”

Brother Jing shook his head after hearing the crew member’s words.

They absolutely dared not step out of the building rashly, as they had no idea what the situation was outside, whether reinforcements had arrived, or if the Official Authorities had gained the upper hand.

”Brother Jing, let’s go out and take a look. Staying hidden here forever isn’t a long-term solution.”

The crew members heard Jiang Chuan’s words and voiced their own thoughts.

”Alright.”

After a moment of thought, Brother Jing finally agreed.

Brother Jing selected a few capable crew members, formed a small team, and quietly left their hiding place.

Brother Jing and his group left their hiding place together and saw that the entire city had been destroyed beyond recognition.

”This is the consequence brought about by war.”

Brother Jing and the others couldn’t help but sigh in realization as they looked at the scene.

”Stop dwelling on it. We need to check the specific situation as quickly as possible.”

Brother Jing also sighed, then told everyone that they must quickly find out what the situation was like here.

”Is this a Chinese person?”

Jiang Chuan was also moving through the country. He already knew the city where Mu Qingcheng’s group had lost signal. When he arrived in the city, he coincidentally ran into Brother Jing and his group who were coming out.

”Who are you?”

Brother Jing and his group noticed Jiang Chuan approaching them, instantly grew wary, raised the firearms they had picked up from the ground, and spoke coldly.

”You must be Brother Jing, right?”

Jiang Chuan also clearly saw Brother Jing’s appearance, recognized him instantly, and then spoke with a smile.

Brother Jing looked at Jiang Chuan, who actually knew him, and since Jiang Chuan was speaking Chinese, he relaxed his guard somewhat and asked suspiciously, ”Who are you?”

”I am Mu Qingcheng’s boyfriend. Where are you currently located? I will have the Dragon Soul Mercenary Group come and take you away from here first.”

”You are Mu Qingcheng’s mysterious boyfriend.”

Brother Jing was very shocked after hearing Jiang Chuan’s words and looking at him. They had not expected to meet Mu Qingcheng’s boyfriend here.

”Brother Jing, what should we do? Should we take him back with us!”

”That’s right, Brother Jing. Our phones are unusable, and we don’t even know if the Young Man in front of us is Mu Qingcheng’s boyfriend.”

The crew members around Brother Jing looked at him, wanting Brother Jing to make a decision.

Brother Jing looked intently at Jiang Chuan after hearing the crew members’ words, unable to make up his mind immediately.

”You can come back with us, but you need to remove all the weapons and equipment you are carrying.”

”Alright.”

Jiang Chuan smiled and immediately agreed, looking at the wary Brother Jing and the others.

He handed the weapon in his hand over to Brother Jing’s group and followed them directly back to the crew’s hiding place.
