Cleaver Of Sin

Chapter 889: Calling Dibs [Golden Gachapon Bonus Chapter]

The entire planet was blanketed in yet another layer of absolute silence, one that eclipsed every silence that had come before it. Nobody could speak. What could they possibly say? They had witnessed one unbelievable spectacle after another. The sheer scale of destruction in this battle had left them mesmerized, dumbfounded, and utterly speechless.

They couldn’t help but ask themselves whether students truly possessed this level of destructive power. They couldn’t help but wonder what was wrong with the geniuses of this generation. They couldn’t help but wonder that if students were this powerful, then just how terrifying were Crownstar Life Rankers.

Forget about that for a second, how powerful was Arianna Haelight, who still sat there with the same calmness?

They had watched Asher and Acker destroy a single kilometre, then increase it to ten kilometres, then twenty, then forty, before finally reaching a staggering one hundred kilometres. Such devastation was beyond the imagination of ordinary people, or even awakened individuals who could barely destroy a few metres.

These were the fantasies every one of them had dreamed about during childhood before their awakening. This was the kind of power they had all wished for themselves before reality reminded them just how cruel the world truly was.

Their hearts beat faster and faster, their blood boiling over. This match had brought them so much. What hadn’t they witnessed? They had witnessed the might of eighteen meteors. They had witnessed the summoning of a Buddha Avatar. They had witnessed the slaying of a Buddha Avatar. They had witnessed the unveiling of a Rapier Technique so mesmerizing that it had rendered them blind.

Could the final and most anticipated battle possibly surpass this? Could Arianna even match the spectacle Acker had displayed?

The more they thought about it, the more their hearts threatened to leap from their chests. It was as though they would explode from nothing but excitement, adrenaline, and pure madness.

Still, some of them couldn’t help but wonder whether, if they shaved their heads, wore kasaya robes, exchanged their weapons for a staff, and chanted “Amitabha” every now and then, they too would receive the abilities and powers Acker had displayed.

They had heard Acker activate his blessing, and they had witnessed his power skyrocket to the point where he could erase everything within a forty-kilometre radius.

Although they knew Asher had still completely suppressed the Buddhist, it didn’t really matter to them. They were ordinary people. Where would they ever encounter someone like Asher during their daily lives?

But alas, they were all destined to fail unless someone somehow inherited Acker’s ability, which was impossible. Acker’s Chuunibyou ability was simply too unique and too deeply rooted in his delusions for anyone else to step onto the path he had walked.

For now, they decided to discard such thoughts. Those were thoughts for another time. Right now, they could only scream at the top of their lungs.

“THE DOMINATOR!!!”

“THE ECLIPSER!!!”

“GOD SLAYER!!!”

“BUDDHA KILLER!!!”

“SALTED FISH!!!”

“ASHER!!!!”

“GOD ASHER!!!”

“HIS HOLY TENTH SUN!!!”

“THE ONLY TRUE SUN!!!”

“THE BRIGHTEST SUN!!!”

“ENDER OF ALL!!!”

The entire planet shook so violently that it almost seemed ready to break free from its orbit. People had completely lost their minds. They surged towards the green energy barrier, hammering against it like a horde of zombies. Fists, elbows, and foreheads slammed against the barrier relentlessly despite everyone knowing how utterly futile those efforts were.

“Asher, just give me your shirt!” a woman screamed from the other side.

“I call dibs on his boxers!” another woman shouted immediately afterward.

“Just give me your gloves!” a man yelled as he repeatedly struck the barrier, desperately trying to attract Asher’s attention.

“A single drop of your sweat is enough for me!” a short man shouted as though he were a child.

“Idiot! He hasn’t even broken a sweat throughout this entire competition! How is he supposed to give you something he doesn’t even have?” a woman snapped as she clicked her tongue at the man, looking at him as though he wasn’t even worthy of calling himself a true fan because he had overlooked such an obvious detail.

She then turned towards Asher and made her own demand. “Asher, baby, I only need one drop of your sperm. Our children would be perfect.”

Another woman immediately fired back, “How dare you ask The Dominator for his seed with that horrible face and your below-average body?”

But the first woman ignored the insult as she continued shouting and asking for a single drop of Asher’s semen.

All kinds of outrageous demands echoed throughout the stadium, yet nobody stepped forward to restore order or tell the spectators to return to their seats. This was part of the entertainment, after all.

Asher heard every single word but ignored all of it. What exactly was he supposed to say to people like this? Besides, this wasn’t even the first time he had heard such absurd requests. At this point, he had become completely accustomed to them.

Arianna Haelight, who remained seated, wore a slight frown. Not because she couldn’t replicate what Acker had accomplished, no, she could do that and much more, but because the ability of her left eye, Archive, had failed.

She didn’t understand why. She simply couldn’t comprehend it. Normally, she couldn’t analyze the abilities of anyone younger than herself, but Acker wasn’t younger than her. Yet Archive had completely failed.

She closed her eyes briefly before opening them once more as she chose to set the matter aside for now. Unknown to her, Acker’s abilities simply couldn’t be analyzed or copied because they were manifestations sponsored by his own delusions.

Thomasinho and AlyxAtlas had long since lost control of the atmosphere. They simply hovered high in the air as they silently took in everything that had just transpired, their grins remaining unchanged and their eyes fixed upon Asher and Arianna alike as they eagerly wondered how the final battle was about to unfold.
