Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Lost in thought thinking of how to get his hands on the heavenly and earthly treasure that were already within arm’s reach, Xuan Hao found himself wandering towards the core of the city where the immortal ascension staircase alongside the few locations selling heavenly and earthly treasures were located. Part of him wondering if he would be able to just buy the heavenly and earthly treasures with his current assets. After all, with how many cultivation resources and other things he had gathered over the years, it wasn’t impossible for him to buy something expensive like a heavenly or earthly treasure.

Wandering through the streets of the vast city, encountering a few Profound Immortal Realm cultivators along the way, it didn’t take long before he found himself standing in front of one of the most prominent shops in the city located right next to the familiar staircase that now led to some immortal realm for the local cultivators who were able to ascend it.

The shop in question was named Endless Treasure Hall and belonged to a large family clan, one of the few within the core of the city that had someone ascend to the immortal realm, as most other major powers were generally sects that had risen during the past million years.

Any of the powerful sects that he could still somewhat remember from when he had swept through the small world after killing the demigod of the Heavens Faith Sect having long since perished over the long years, with only one remaining intact thanks to being lowkey and never making enemies over the long years. Keeping to themselves to the point where most people forget they even existed before one of their ancestors ascended to the immortal realm and allowed the sect to officially establish itself within the core of the city.

The sect in question just so happened to be located right next to the Endless Treasure Hall, causing him to recall its existence as he was about to step inside.

Still, outside of feeling a sense of amazement over the fact that a sect had managed to survive for so long without perishing. Comparable to the ancient hidden sects on the Ewaria Continent, he didn’t feel much more about this old sect that had once helped him in purging the Heavens Faith Sect from the small world.

”Greetings senior, is there anything I can help with?” Just taking a step inside the Endless Treasure Hall, still somewhat preoccupied with the old sect that was located beside it, Xuan Hao was a bit taken aback when one of the attendants approached him and enthusiastically called out to him.

If not for the fact that the other party had only reached the Domain Lord Realm, he would have thought his cultivation had been seen through to receive this kind of treatment. After all, though Land Creation Realm cultivators weren’t difficult for someone like himself to find, they weren’t exactly common and could still be considered at the very pinnacle of the small world. Only below those powerful figures at the Star Creation Realm.

”No need to be surprised senior, I have worked at the Endless Treasure Hall my entire life and have a good eye for people. Don’t worry, I know this place inside and out, just name something and I’m sure I will be able to find it if it exists within the treasure hall.” Seemingly understanding his confusion, the attendant, who was somewhat on the older side, smiled confidently as she reassured him about her professionalism.

”I see… I’m looking to buy either heavenly or earthly treasures and heard your treasure hall was one of the few selling them around here, I wonder if you can help me?” Although he knew that this older lady had undoubtedly targeted him after guessing he was a powerful cultivator because she wanted to earn a commission or whatever system the Endless Treasure Hall worked with, Xuan Hao didn’t mind if the other party could truly help him as he decided to just directly state what he had come looking for.

”Earthly treasure… And heavenly treasures… That… Indeed, the treasure hall does sell them, but the price is- never mind, let me show you!” Hesitating for a few seconds upon hearing what he was looking for, the older lady soon shook her head before guiding him deeper into the treasure hall. Passing through what should be the outer part open to the public. Taking him into a more secluded part of the treasure hall where most of the people around had either reached the Profound Immortal Realm or were rich young masters or ladies belonging to one of the major powers.

At the same time, the quality of the artifacts and cultivation resources around had also increased a lot compared to before. Reaching a level that a single item taken out would be enough to tempt countless people into a bloody struggle for said item. Making it understandable why he could sense a terrifying presence guarding this secluded part of the treasure hall.

Even without meeting the person behind this terrifying presence, it wasn’t too difficult to guess that the other party had reached the Star Creation Realm. Meaning any attempt to steal anything would result in an immediate retaliation from someone at the Star Creation Realm.

In other words, any idea he might have had about stealing the heavenly or earthly treasures within the endless treasure hall immediately vanished, as he understood that there would be no way for him to get away from this kind of powerful figure before the commotion drew over even more powerful figures. Even more so when considering that everything within the endless treasure hall was guarded by a powerful formation no weaker than the Star Creation Realm cultivator, one that directly sealed space and made it difficult for someone to grab something before sneaking away through the Dao of Space.

How lucky… The collapsed space he had left behind back then and hadn’t thought much of as he ascended towards the twenty eighth floor of the tower had ended up making the Dao of Space flourish within the small world. Ensuring that these locals had long since come up with ways to counter users of the Dao of Space like himself…

”Senior, this is one of the earthly treasures currently on sale. Please take a look.” Hearing the voice from the attendant before him as she turned around and introduced one of the things on display, Xuan Hao slowly shifted his attention towards the earthly treasure she was introducing. Focusing not on the earthly treasure itself, but instead on the small description below it.

[Divine Earth Root]

[Type: Earthly Treasure]

[Description: An earthly treasure formed by the accumulation of earth essence over thousands of years. Perfect for cultivators comprehending the Dao of Earth and cultivators planning to progress through the Land Creation Realm]

[Price: 10.000 Top Grade Spirit Stones or something of equal value]

[Special Note: Value of items traded will be judged by the treasure hall, external valuations are not accepted.]

This was indeed what he was looking for, and he could clearly sense that it was indeed an earthly treasure that would be helpful in his cultivation of the Land Creation Realm. Problem was that the price was something he couldn’t afford after he had handed over most of the top grade spirit stones he obtained over the years to Elder Song. Allowing the old man to make full use of the spirit stones that would normally just be sitting inside his interspatial ring gathering dust.

With this in mind, his only way of obtaining the earthly treasure would be finding something of equal value to trade if he didn’t want to try his luck stealing in front of a Star Creation Realm cultivator.

Problem was, he had no idea what to use to trade for the treasure before him… ”Do you perhaps know what kind of resources or other things the treasure hall is currently looking for.” Causing him to shift his attention towards the attendant standing beside him for answer.

”Yes, the treasure hall is looking for anything of high enough value when it comes to cultivation resources, though if I had to say something specific, I would have to say anything with spatial attributes.

As you should know, such items are incredibly hard to come by and with so many skilled in the Dao of Space, any such items are swept up almost immediately.” Having long since expected this kind of question, the attendant calmly explained this to him before falling silent. Knowing from past experience that whenever a customer asked this kind of question, there was a good chance that they would soon turn around and leave. After all, this kind of treasure was expensive to the point where most Land Creation Realm cultivators would find it difficult to buy.

”Items and materials with spatial attributes… Great! Looks like I will have to trouble you to help me get my thing evaluated.” However, contrary to her expectations, Xuan Hao nodded his head with relief upon hearing what she said. After all, he didn’t exactly lack such materials, as he still had a few space node stones on hand from when he had constructed the sect’s teleportation formation network. ”Huh? Ah! Y-yes!” Causing the older attendant to stutter for a bit over her words before she hurried off.
