Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Even with him having opened up several spatial passages for the inhabitants of the ancient secret realm to escape through before the secret realm itself collapsed, there were ultimately some who were too far away from any of the ancient spatial passages that had been forced open or found themselves cut off because a ravine had suddenly appeared in their path.

Although he wanted to help these people and give them a chance to escape from the ancient secret realm, he simply couldn’t help everyone, as most of his attention was now focused on ensuring those spatial passages remained open for as long as possible. Of course, there was one exception to this and that was Li Feng and his small group of friends, whom he personally helped get out of their current situation and put them on the path to the spatial passage that they had originally used to enter the ancient secret realm a few days earlier.

Considering that this was the one spatial passage that he knew for certain would get him back to the Ewaria Continent again close to the Star Shattering Sect, he also intended to follow them as they left the ancient secret realm, thus their path back was also artificial delayed by him so he could get the most out of the time he had left inside the ancient secret realm before he was forced to leave.

Still… There was one person outside of himself who also seemingly wanted to take advantage of the current situation to try and deepen her understanding of the Dao of Space, that being the older lady from the holy lake village who had just broken through to the Core Formation Realm, as instead of escaping, she followed in his footsteps after seeing her fellow villager escape through a spatial passage that had formed right next to the small villages around the holy lake.

Even if trying to comprehend the Dao of Space at the Core Formation Realm was impossible, she could at least lay down a foundation to make it easier to comprehend the Dao of Space in the future. Maybe even laying down a strong enough foundation that she would be able to use to the Dao of Space to breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm in the future.

No matter what it was, Xuan Hao decided to extend a bit of his own domain towards her to protect her safety, as there was no way she would be able to resist the increasingly powerful shockwaves from the battle between the guardian formation and the spatial storm. Viewing it as a way to repay her for the damage he had ended up causing to her village.

After all, even if he viewed what was happening as inevitable given that the demon beasts within the dark space would end up accidentally shattering space and giving the spatial storm a path into the ancient secret realm, it still wasn’t certain how long that would take and there was always the chance that the demon beasts wouldn’t attempt that kind of attack on the core for the formation.

But… He highly doubted that they wouldn’t attempt such an attack given how he had sensed a few traces around the place that they had used that kind of attack in the past. Not to mention, given that the demon beast knew that kind of attack in the first place already implied that it had used it in the past.

Regardless, he helped the recently promoted Core Formation Realm lady and decided to pull her out safely when he left as well. Giving her as much time as she needed to try and comprehend the Dao of Space.

Impossible as it might be for her to even reach the Elementary Realm in the Dao of Space, if she could indeed lay down a strong enough foundation and use the Dao of Space to breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm in the future, she would be among one of the strongest Domain Lord Realm cultivator and would be a rare expert who specialized in the Dao of Space.

Even if he didn’t owe her anything, such a figure was someone he wanted to join the Star Shattering Sect, as the current Star Shattering Sect lacked people skilled in the Dao of Space, as outside of himself, there currently weren’t anyone with an understanding of the Dao of Space that exceeded what was expected for the cultivation realm the rest of the sect’s elders found themselves in.

The only potential exception being the Formation Hall disciples and elders who studied the teleportation formation he had laid down and deepened their own understanding of the Dao of Space in the process of learning to lay down teleportation formations of their own.

Unfortunately, though eager to learn and comprehend the Dao of Space, the one who had taken it the furthest in the Formation Hall had only reached the Elementary Realm in the Dao of Space. Not exactly someone skilled in the Dao of Space, who would be able to help teach the rest of the sect’s elders and disciples about the Dao of Space in his place.

In fact, outside of just having her join the sect in the future, part of him also wondered if he should accept her as a disciple and personally ensure that she excelled in the Dao of Space.

His original intention of entering the ancient secret realm aside, this would be a great boon to the sect even though she wasn’t anywhere near the same level of talent as the other disciples he had taken on…

✧Qian Qing✧ Race: Human Talent: 11 Comprehension: 27 Realm: First Stage of the Core Formation Realm And even if she wasn’t on the same level as his other disciples, her talent could still be considered decent while her comprehension ranked among the top few disciples of the sect. Making it understandable how she had managed to reach the Core Formation Realm even in the bad cultivation environment she had found herself born into.

In process of looking through her status for the first time as he began viewing this older woman as a potential disciple, he also learnt her name, which he hadn’t asked her about, Qian Qing.

Unaware of the growing interest she had ended up garnering from Xuan Hao because of how she had decided to stay behind and try to copy what Xuan Hao was doing and comprehend something from the chaotic battle in front of her, Qian Qing had entirely let go of her worry for her fellow villagers, as she had seen a spatial passage appearing right next to one of the village entrances. Allowing everyone to evacuate the ancient secret realm safely.

Although leaving their home wasn’t something everyone was that happy about, knowing about the better cultivation environment on the other side, this group of traditional immortal cultivators could be considered amongst the most excited bunch inside the ancient secret realm who were leaving.

After all, compared to those following the body cultivation path, they truly had no way to continue improving their own strength without a constant supply of spirit stones from the holy lake. Not to mention, they understood full well that it would be close to impossible for them to advance beyond the Foundation Establishment Realm in the future within the ancient secret realm.

Even if Qian Qing had broken through to the Core Formation Realm, the reason for her breakthrough was mainly viewed as something that had only been possible because of Xuan Hao’s assistance, thus most of the villagers didn’t believe that they themselves would ever be able to take this step themselves in the future.

Not to mention, after seeing how powerful Xuan Hao was and knowing he followed the traditional immortal cultivation path and wasn’t a body cultivator, these villagers had become far more excited about their future cultivation and what lay beyond the Core Formation Realm.

Originally, they saw no hope of ever reaching a realm beyond the Foundation Establishment Realm, but by leaving the ancient secret realm, they would enter a place with far richer spiritual qi and stand a true chance of truly embarking on the immortal cultivation path in earnest.

Outside of these villagers who wasted no time packing up what little belongings they had as they happily charged through the ancient spatial passage without the slightest bit of hesitation; there was also another group of traditional immortal cultivators who were excited about leaving the ancient secret realm. Wasting no time as they charged straight through the nearest spatial passage. These people being none other than the Foundation Establishment cultivators who had been nurtured by the different major powers within the ancient secret realm.

After all, different from the villagers who only understood that the other side had a far better and more suitable cultivation environment, the Foundation Establishment cultivators from the different major powers had learnt about the past of the ancient secret realm and understood how their ancestor had left in the past for a better place, thus they could be considered the most eager when it came to leaving the ancient secret realm…
