Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

At the same time Xuan Hao scanned the unfamiliar Domain Lord Realm Expert with his divine sense, the person in question felt a chill run down his spine as he felt like some terrifying existence was looking directly at him for a short moment before looking away.

”W-what was that just now? A powerful ancestor of the Star Shattering Sect?” Mumbling this to himself as he thought about the possible origin of the feeling just now, the man once again understood that the Star Shattering Sect was far more terrifying than he had first imagined when he heard about it after returning from his journey around the continent in order to look for a way to reach the Domain Lord Realm.

Even if he might have hesitated whether to join the Star Shattering Sect or not, he now felt certain that it would be a good thing to join the Star Shattering Sect.

All things considered, he very well understood that his talent was nothing special when compared to other Domain Lord Realm Expert and his strength would at most be able to reach the Peak of the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm without any external help. Maybe he could reach the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm if he got lucky… But with the help of a powerful sect like the Star shattering Sect, his chances of improving and going further on the path of cultivation would increase!

In the end, this was the reason why he had returned to the Star Shattering Sect after his conversation with Elder Song instead of just returning to his kingdom to gather everything of value before leaving for the core region of the Sky Empire to rebuild his kingdom there-

”Hm?”

Coming to an abrupt stop, the Domain Lord suddenly noticed that he had already reached the base of the Seventh Star Peak, causing him to freeze on the spot as he looked up towards the majestic buildings that made up the main sect of the Star Shattering Sect.

”Looks like I’m getting a bit nervous now that I’m here…” Shaking his head as he muttered this to himself, the Domain Lord took a deep breath before starting to walk up the path leading to the peak of the Seventh Star Peak. Already feeling a sense of excitement welling up inside him at the thought that he was going to be part of such a powerful sect in the future.

…

”Elder Song, the ancestor of that caused trouble earlier is here, should I send him in?” Not more than a few minutes after the arrival of the unfamiliar Domain Lord Realm Expert, one of the assistant elders that had been helping Elder Song with the management of the internal matters of the Sect walked over to Elder Song before informing him about his arrival.

”Hm? The ancestor who caused trouble- Ah! The Domain Lord that showed up out of nowhere and caused problems for one of our branches! What was his name… Wan Linyun? So, he decided to return after our conversation… Hehe, looks like the Star Shattering Sect is going to get another Domain Lord Realm Expert!” Muttering this to himself as a small chuckle escaped his lips, Elder Song nodded his head. Signaling for the assistant elder to send him in.

Not more than a few seconds later, the Domain Lord Realm ancestor from one of the kingdoms that had fallen to the Star Shattering Sect, Wan Linyun, made his way inside the room with a nervous expression on his face.

Although Elder Song was far weaker than he was and had not even reached the Domain Lord Realm, he still understood just how much power this seemingly ordinary Nascent Soul Realm elder had. Not doubting that if he ended up offending him, his chances of entering the Star Shattering Sect would be reduced to nothing…

”Greetings, Elder Song.”

For this reason, Wan Linyun did his best to be as polite as possible to Elder Song. Not daring to look down on him because he was only in the Nascent Soul Realm.

”Good to see you again, have you come to a decision regarding the things we discussed last time?” Nodding his head in appreciation before asking this, Elder Song looked directly at Wan Linyun. Wanting to make sure that his answer was sincere.

”Yes, I want to join the Star Shattering Sect.” Feeling a shiver run down for some unknown reason as he felt Elder Song looking directly at him, Wan Linyun answered the question with a serious expression on his face. Earning a small smile from Elder Song in return.

”Great! You can leave for now and one of the assistant elders will help you get sorted out. For now, you will be designated as a guest elder. In the future, you will have the chance to become an official sect elder after you have proven yourself as an elder, but… You should already be aware of this from our last conversation.”

Having already expected something like this before coming, Wan Linyun solemnly nodded his head in understanding. All things considered, becoming a trusted elder of a sect like the Star shattering Sect, that already had several Domain Lord Realm Experts stronger than himself, would be weird.

”Indeed, I’m already aware of it and it’s fine with me. After all, it’s not like I expected to just directly become an elder of the sect without doing anything…”

”Haha, it’s great to see that you already understand this. After all, how could we just allow anyone in the Domain Lord Realm to enter the sect without properly making sure they weren’t spies belonging to another power?” Laughing happily before saying this, Elder Song silently let out a sigh of relief inside his head after seeing that Wan Linyun did not react negatively to only being a guest elder.

To be honest, Elder Song had not expected this from Wan Linyun, he was after all someone in the Domain Lord Realm and would under normal circumstances be capable of becoming the core member of any sect or power he wished to join. Even the major sects of the Sky Empire would act like this, let alone the smaller powers in the Sky Empire that at most had a single Domain Lord Realm Expert…

For him to be willing to join the Star Shattering Sect as a guest elder, it was obvious to Elder Song how much he valued the Star Shattering Sect.

Be it because the qi present inside the Star Shattering Sect had far surpassed that of the outside world or that the Star Shattering Sect already had three Domain Lord Realm Experts and could be considered one of the strongest powers in the Sky Empire. No matter what it was, Elder Song was just happy that the Star Shattering Sect had managed to gain another Domain Lord Realm Expert. Even if the Domain Lord was not an elder that had been lucky enough to break through from the Nascent Soul Realm.

”Elder Song, did you call for me?”

Just at this moment, the assistant elder that had informed him about the arrival of Wan Linyun just a short time earlier, entered the room with a stack of unfinished documents in hand.

”Ah, Zeng Wu, this is Wan Linyun, he has just become a guest elder of the sect. The reason I called you here is to help him find a new courtyard where he can stay from now on.”

”Guest elder? Help find a new courtyard?” becoming one big question mark after hearing what Elder Song said, Zeng Wu took a few seconds to process what he had just been told before a shocked expression made its way on to his face.

The Domain Lord Realm Expert actually ended up joining the sect! He didn’t even become a sect elder and has instead become a guest elder!

Trying his best to remain calm as he processed this information, Zeng Wu could not help feeling more shocked as he realized that a Domain Lord Realm Expert had only become a guest elder. Even more surprising was the fact that the other party had accepted the role of guest elder!

In a sense, as an assistant elder at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm, his status in the Star Shattering Sect was currently above that of Wan Linyun, a Domain Lord Realm Expert!

This alone was more than enough to make Zeng Wu feel a sense of pride from being an elder of the Star Shattering Sect that he had never felt before.

”Please follow me, I will show you where you will be staying from now on.”

With this rush of pride and happiness that came out of nowhere, Zeng Wu smiled from ear to ear, as he said this without showing any hint of fear that would normally be present when someone in the Core Formation Realm was talking to someone in the Domain Lord Realm.

Impressing Wan Linyue in the process, as the two soon left the room. Leaving Elder Song to deal with the all too familiar mountain of documents that seemed to have magically grown during his short meeting with Wan Linyue.
