Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Mirage Sect’s Mystic Realm…?”

From the name on the front of the book Feng Chen had given him, it was easy to tell that the mystic realm had once belonged to a sect that was good at illusion techniques. Even without being able to enter the mystic realm, Xuan Hao could already guess how much of a pain it would be to explore…

At least I won’t be the one to explore the mystic realm. After all, even if I could destroy the barrier guarding the entrance with my current strength, the entrance to the mystic realm would also end up getting destroyed in the process.

I’m still far away from being able to lock onto the spatial coordinates of a secret realm… Let alone a natural mystic realm that had once been controlled by an ancient sect!

Currently only Chu Yang had reached the Nascent Soul Realm and had the qualifications to explore the mystic realm… But Qing Yi was already preparing for her breakthrough and should not be too far away from reaching the Nascent Soul Realm.

After her breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm, the two of them could explore the mystic realm together. This way, it would also be safer for both of them when exploring an unknown mystic realm that had once belonged to an ancient sect that had existed a long time ago!

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao soon opened the book before starting to read through it. The matter of exploring the mystic realm could be left to his disciples after they reached the Nascent Soul Realm!

The Mirage Sect’s Branch Mystic Realm.

”So, they have more than one mystic realm under them…”

Just after opening up the old book about the Mirage Sect’s Mystic Realm, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly after reading the first line on the first page of the old book.

From the looks of things, the Mirage Sect should have been a powerful sect when they were still around. After all, the size of a mystic realm was normally far larger than a secret realm.

For the Mirage Sect to call a mystic realm a branch mystic realm, it was easy to imagine that they should have at least one more mystic realm under them where their sect was located… Maybe they had far more mystic realms under them!

No matter what it was, it was obvious just how powerful the Mirage Sect had been!

”A pity… The Branch Mystic Realm of the Mirage Sect does not allow anyone above the Nascent Soul Realm to enter…”

Realizing just how powerful the Mirage Sect had been, Xuan Hao could not help regretting the fact that he could not enter the mystic realm himself. Given the strength of the Mirage Sect, he should be able to find out more information about the Soul Ascension Realm. Even information on realms above the Soul Ascension Realm would not be too unrealistic to find in a place like that!

All he could do at this point in time was wait for his disciples to explore the mystic realm…

Rustle~

Continuing to read through the old book Feng Chen had handed him after coming to terms with the fact that he had no way to enter the Mirage Sect’s Branch Mystic Realm, Xuan Hao only ended up growing more regretful the more he read…

According to the old book, the mystic realm not only contained a branch of the ancient Mirage Sect, but the majority of the mystic realm had been modified by the Mirage Sect and had been split into several different and unique environments with all sorts of demon beasts and spiritual herbs.

The reason for this modification, was to make the mystic realm serve as a training ground for the disciples of the Mirage Sect. After the mystic realm had been forcefully modified, the disciples would be able to train in these different unique environments against all sorts of similarly unique demon beasts that would challenge the disciples in their own way.

The spiritual herbs and other natural treasures spread out across all of these different environments could be said to be a reward that the seniors of the Mirage Sect had left for the disciples to find after overcoming different challenges inside the different training environments of the mystic realm.

After so many years had passed since the Mirage Sect had disappeared, it was impossible to tell what dangers lurked inside the mystic realm. After all, even if the Mirage Sect had disappeared from the mystic realm, the different demon beasts were still around and had likely grown far stronger than originally intended without the seniors and elders of the Mirage Sect there to keep them from growing too strong…

”Given how much time has passed, there should at the very least be some demon beasts at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm, a demon beast that has reached the Domain Lord Realm appearing is not too unrealistic either…” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao quickly realized just how dangerous it would be for someone in the Nascent Soul Realm to enter and explore the mystic realm belonging to the Mirage Sect.

Even if most of the demon beasts inside the mystic realm should at most be around the Core Formation Realm and the earlier stages of the Nascent Soul Realm, there would definitely be a few more powerful ones that had reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul or even exceeded it!

At the same time, the spiritual herbs inside the mystic realm and the prospect of exploring the ruins of a once mighty sect that possibly had experts above the Soul Ascension was not something that could easily be ignored…

But… How come this book about the Mirage Sect’s Mystic Realm was hidden inside the Flying Sword Sect…?

Thinking about it, Xuan Hao could really not come up with any reason as to why the Flying Sword Sect would have any information on a mystic realm that belonged to an ancient sect like the Mirage Sect.

All things considered, the Flying Sword Sect had only existed a little over a thousand years before merging together with the Spring Flower Sect to form the Star Shattering Sect, there was no way for such a young sect where the most powerful person had only reached the Nascent Soul Realm 10 years earlier could obtain such an ancient book.

”Hm?”

Now that I think about it… The founder is rather odd, he brought all sorts of precious Heaven Rank cultivation mantras with him when establishing the Flying Sword Sect. Now a hidden room filled with old books detailing ancient information of a long-gone era has also been found… No matter how I look at it, the old books Feng Chen and the rest of the elders found should be connected to the founder…!

Narrowing his eyes as he thought about this, Xuan Hao could not help turning to look towards Feng Chen who was quietly enjoying his tea while waiting for him to finish reading through the old book with information on the mystic realm.

”Sect Master… Can I perhaps ask you about something?”

”Hm? What is it? Why the sudden respectful tone?”

Hearing Xuan Hao suddenly address him in a formal and respectful way, Feng Chen could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine as he looked towards Xuan Hao with a surprised expression on his face.

Considering the fact that he was still the sect master, there was nothing weird with Xuan Hao addressing him respectfully with his title… The only problem was… It was Xuan Hao… The current strongest expert of the sect!

Not to mention, Feng Chen had already grown used to them talking normally with each other after Xuan Hao had entered the sect.

”Ahm… My bad… Feng Chen, how much do you know about the founder of our sect- The Flying Sword Sect?”

Asking the question on his mind, Xuan Hao could not help staring attentively at Feng Chen waiting for a response.

Although he had heard a bit of information about the founder of the Flying Sword Sect before, it had always been covered in a veil of mystery and had never truly clarified anything about where he had come from or why he had decided to establish the Flying Sword Sect.

The only real information that he had heard so far was that the founder had escaped from somewhere and decided to quietly set up the Flying Sword Sect. Later, he had ended up disappearing. Leaving the sect’s management to an old elder in the Nascent Soul Realm who had later become Feng Chen’s master.

After the old elder’s lifespan ran out and he died, Feng Chen had ended up taking over as the Sect Master of the Flying Sword Sect.

Any other information about the founder was impossible to find, be it his appearance or his cultivation realm.

To be honest, Xuan Hao was not even sure about the gender of the founder. For all he knew, even if the founder was mostly depicted as a man in most of the records, with how limited the information on the founder was, he could also have been a woman!
