Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Feeling a wave of disbelief wash over him as he read through the first chapter of the First Four Mortal Realms describing the Qi Condensation Realm, Xuan Hao felt shocked at how in depth the chapter was.

Not only did it fully describe the process of going from the First to the Ninth Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm along with a lot of information about the realm that he didn’t know anything about, but it also described a stage above the Ninth Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm. The Perfect Qi Condensation Realm, simply described as the Tenth Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm!

Even if none of his disciple’s had reached this realm, Xuan Hao was still more than happy with the knowledge he gained from the first chapter of the ancient book, as it would be helpful for training his current disciples and future disciples.

The Foundation Establishment Realm and Core Formation Realm chapter of the ancient book was similar, as they all helped Xuan Hao gain a more in depth understanding of these first few realms. In the future, it would be far easier for him to teach his disciples, while at the same time, he would also be able to share this new knowledge with the rest of the sect and allow them to improve as well.

Although... With the current strength of the Star Shattering Sect, the only person who could truly put this information to use was Shu Yao, as that was the minimum requirement for someone to be able to comprehend what was written inside the ancient book and have the ability to put it to use when teaching the disciples.

However, upon reaching the Nascent Soul Realm chapter of the ancient book, things changed, and it was no longer something that someone at the Early Stages of the Domain Lord Realm like Shu Yao would be able to comprehend... Heck... Even Xuan Hao felt like he had a hard time reading through the fourth chapter that detailed the Nascent Soul Realm with his strength!

The fourth chapter not only contained a detailed explanation on the Nascent Soul Realm and how to increase the strength on one’s nascent soul, but it also contained detailed explanations on how to best prepare to start comprehending a dao and prepare to establish a domain and enter the Domain Lord Realm!

The different tribulations that one could go through to reach the Nascent Soul Realm was also listed here and they were:

The Bronze Cloud Tribulation. The weakest cloud tribulation that would at most allow someone to reach the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm without any hope to break through to the Domain Lord Realm unless one encountered a lucky chance to strengthen the soul and make up for the insufficient strengthening of the soul that came from overcoming the bronze Cloud Tribulation.

The Silver Cloud Tribulation. The most normal cloud tribulation, one had the chance to breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm. Reaching the Soul Ascension Realm... This was close to impossible...

The Golden Cloud Tribulation. Split into a lower-grade, middle-grade, and higher-grade golden cloud tribulation. Reaching the Nascent Soul Realm through a golden cloud tribulation would almost guarantee that one would be able to reach the Domain Lord Realm as long as the person in question did not die. The higher the grade of the golden cloud tribulation, the higher the chance of reaching the Soul Ascension Realm in the future!

These three were the most common cloud tribulations and also the ones Xuan Hao had expected to see... However, the last one standing above the golden cloud tribulation realm was what truly caught Xuan Hao off guard.

Unique Cloud Tribulation. A unique tribulation that rarely descends when the cultivator is deemed to have triggered certain conditions. The unique cloud tribulation is as the name suggests, unique to the cultivator and not one tribulation of this level is the same!

The unique cloud tribulation can exceed the level of a higher-grade golden cloud tribulation, while at the same time also being weaker than it. However, most of the time, it is stronger and the benefits from reaching the Nascent Soul Realm through a unique cloud tribulation far exceeds that of the golden cloud tribulation.

People who cross the unique cloud tribulation have the potential to surpass the Soul Ascension Realm and surpass the mortal realm!

Although Xuan Hao had already somewhat guessed there was a tribulation existing above the golden cloud tribulation, he was still taken aback after getting a confirmation that this was indeed the case from the ancient book.

Whoosh~

Finishing the Codex of the First Four Mortal Realms, Xuan Hao could not help feeling surprised, as he suddenly felt both his sword and ice domain start partially merging together.

Even if they had not fully merged together after reading through the Codex of the First Four Mortal Realms, they could no longer be considered two separate domains any longer...

Using the two separately was also not an option after this merging process had started. Not that Xuan Hao really cared too much about this, as both of his domains were far stronger after having partially merged together with each other.

”Looks like I will be able to merge both my domains together much faster than I had first expected...” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao could not help praying to get another Codex of the First Four Mortal Realms from the system again. Maybe even getting the Domain Lord Realm version that might have been written by the author of the Codex of the First Four Mortal Realm...

”Hm? Looks like Chu Yang finished stabilizing his cultivation base.”

Just at this moment, Xuan Hao suddenly noticed that his disciple had already finished stabilizing his cultivation base at the First Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm and was about to wake up again.

Whoosh~

With this in mind, Xuan Hao left his room and made his way towards the place where his three disciples were located. All of them currently in a state of deep meditation, as they were all about to wake up again now that Chu Yang had finished stabilizing his cultivation base.

...

”Master! I broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm!” Upon waking up from his deep meditation after having stabilized his cultivation base, Chu Yang excitedly proclaimed this as he looked towards his master for approval.

”Indeed, you did a great job! Breaking through the Nascent Soul Realm below the age of 30 and becoming the first Nascent Soul Realm disciple of the Star Shattering Sect. Even in the entire Sky Empire, I’m sure there are not many people who can accomplish something like this!” Not seeing anything wrong with praising Chu Yang after he had broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao made sure he knew about his achievements.

”Thank you master!” Smiling happily as he said, this, Chu Yang was still overcome with happiness as he started experimenting with his new power. The most useful of which was the divine sense, as Chu Yang finally felt like he would be able to move around without getting lost all the time.

Yes... In Chu Yang’s eyes, he didn’t see his divine sense as something useful for fighting and searching for enemies that might be hidden ready to ambush him while out and adventuring in the outside world... But instead as a tool that would prevent him from getting lost due to his bad sense of direction!

”Hum~ You broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm and I have to admit it was far more dangerous than I had thought...However! I won’t lack behind! I will also reach the Nascent Soul Realm soon! Don’t slack after reaching the Nascent Soul Realm, or I will surpass you in no time!” Standing up and saying this just after she had awoken from her deep meditation shortly after Chu Yang. Qing Yi quickly ran away.

Clearly Chu Yang reaching the Nascent Soul Realm had ignited her fighting spirit and she also wanted to reach the Nascent Soul Realm. As her master’s first disciple, there was no way she would lack behind Chu Yang who had been accepted later than her!

”...”

Seeing his now junior sister run away before he even had a chance to respond, Chu Yang could only smile wryly before looking at his master for help.

”Ah! Bai Ning, how was it did you manage to improve?”

However, his master just turned around before focusing his attention on Bai Ning that had also just woken up. Pretending not to see Chu Yang starring at him for guidance on what to do in such a situation.

”Yes master! I managed to improve my cultivation and even broke through after watching senior brother Chu Yang stabilizing his cultivation base!”

”I see, that is great, we should quickly return to the palace and I, your master, will help you with stabilizing your cultivation base!”

”Really?!”

”Yes! Let’s go!”

Whoosh~

Not even having any time to say anything to his master before he left together with Bai Ning, Chu Yang could not help shaking his head as he looked at the destroyed terrain around the area where he had broken through before similarly making his way back towards the small palace that his master and two fellow disciples had already done.
