Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

After Gong Bo had informed one of the guards patrolling around the area just outside the manor, he had returned back to the manor again where all the others had already returned back to their own rooms and settled down for the night.

”I should get some rest as well…”

Muttering this to himself while looking around the empty manor, Gong Bo soon returned to his own room like the others and soon enough.

Like this, the night slowly passed with a tranquil atmosphere settling over the quiet manor.

…

”Hmh!”

Stretching herself after waking up, Qing Yi looked over the edge of the bed she was laying in before remembering what had happened yesterday.

”That’s right! The interspatial ring!”

Remembering the interspatial ring that had been handed to her, Qing Yi quickly fumbled her way out of her bed before searching the small table next to the bed.

Rustle~

”Hah… It’s still here…” Letting out a sigh of relief upon discovering the small interspatial ring still filled with all sorts of spiritual herbs and a small mountain of spirit stone, Qing Yi soon got dressed before making her way out of her room to meet up with her master and the other elders.

From what they had planned, she already knew that they would be leaving the morning at the day after the alchemy competition.

”Hello Qing Yi, how are you doing? Got enough rest?”

Hearing an old voice echo out from behind her the moment she stepped out of her room, Qing Yi quickly turned towards the origin of the voice.

”I’m fine Elder Gong, a good night’s sleep was enough to clear away all my exhaustion from the competition! By the way are the other elders already preparing to leave?”

”That’s great to hear and the other elders are indeed preparing to leave, it’s just that your master had something to do before leaving, so I think we might have to wait a bit until he returns again. Well, I still have to see if I can help the others, you can just relax in your room until we leave.”

Watching Elder Gong turn to leave after saying this, Qing Yi could not help but feel a little curious.

Where was her master and what was it that he needed to do before leaving…?

”Hah… No use thinking about it, I will just check out my rewards before master returns…!”

Shaking her head as she knew that it would be impossible for her to find out where her master had gone, Qing Yi instead returned to her room with an excited expression, while looking at the interspatial ring she had won.

Before her master returned and they left the Iron Sky Kingdom, Qing Yi wanted to check out all the rewards she had gotten from getting second place in the alchemy competition!

Among which, the first thing to enter her eyes was the small mountain of spirit stones…

…

A little earlier when the sun had just come up and Qing Yi was still asleep, Xuan Hao had suddenly felt Yi Min contacting him through her divine sense asking him to meet her at the large place located at the centre of the capital city where she resided.

This was not really out of his expectations, as he had already expected for her to contact him at some point before he left. The subject of said meeting was very likely going to be something about the people who had attacked the capital earlier!

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao thought that the main reason why she did not ask him to follow her back to talk about this earlier, was likely because she already knew that his disciple was participating in the alchemy competition, and she didn’t want him to miss it for something that could wait.

After all, she did not really expect for her enemies to return within a few hours of them having been beaten up by the demonic beast that they had likely planned to use against her at some point…

Whoosh~

Standing up from where he had been meditating through the night, Xuan Hao disappeared from the room. Only to reappear directly in front of the palace at the centre of the capital in the next moment.

Given that the other party already knew about his cultivation realm and the fact that she was not an enemy, Xuan Hao didn’t bother hiding his aura when he appeared.

”Who is-!?

”This aura…!”

The two guards at the Nascent Soul Realm standing guard at the entrance to the palace both wore a shocked expression the moment they felt this aura, as both of them instantly understood that the other party was someone similar to their lord! Someone above the Nascent Soul Realm, a Domain Lord!

”Come to the top floor in the west wing of the palace!”

Before any of the two guards could even say anything, the familiar voice of Yi Min flowed out from inside the palace.

Whoosh!

Disappearing in front of the two guards, Xuan Hao moved through the large palace before reaching a beautifully decorated room at the west wing of the palace with a great view of the capital city.

Seeing the person that had called him over in the first place sitting in a small corner of the room nibbling away on a few snacks with a cup of tea next to her, Xuan Hao walked over and found a chair already prepared for him as he quickly sat down.

”I wonder what you called me to talk about?”

Asking this even though he already had some idea what she wanted to talk about, Xuan Hao curiously looked over Yi Min, who was still busy nibbling away on a small cookie in her hand.

”Yes, I called you over to talk about the people who attacked my capital yesterday and wanted to ask you about a few things regarding that, I wonder if you are curious about why they even decided to attack me in the first place?”

Reluctantly putting the half-eaten cookie down, Yi Min put on a serious face before asking this.

”…”

The very clear pieces from the cookie she had just eaten covering parts of the dress along with a few pieces still left around her mouth, did not really fit very well with her current serious expression…
