Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”I never expected for the leader of the Fire Blood Gang to be a demonic cultivator… This would surely prompt the Cloud Sky Kingdom to take action against them, but that is only if they find out…” Whispering this quietly to herself, the young lady from the Flowing Cloud Sect quickly realized that the leader of the Fire Blood Gang did not plan to let anyone of them leave alive…

”What should we do?!” One of the two remaining underling panicked after seeing their leader turn into a demonic cultivator all of a sudden and ruthlessly kill one of them.

At this point, both of the underlings had already realized that their former leader was not going to let them go in case they spread the news of him being a demonic cultivator, causing the surrounding powers to gang up on him and kill him.

This was very likely, as compared to the Heavenly Sky Kingdom where the sects and the ruling royal family were at odds with each other. The Cloud Sky Kingdom existed in harmony with the sects inside their territory and for them to team up and deal with a demonic cultivator was an easy matter.

The former bandit leader knew about this and planned to kill off everyone here to ensure his secret was safe!

”Ahm! W-what do you say we work together…?” The underling that had no idea what to do made his way over to Old Ji and the other two as he asked in an awkward voice.

The other underling also saw the opportunity and quickly made his way over as both of them waited for their response. Anxiously looking over in the direction of their former leader from time to time as they felt the terrifying pressure excluded by a demonic cultivator first-hand.

”Sure… We will need a miracle to get away from this guy alive and more people should at least increase our chances by a bit!” The old lady answered before Old Ji, or the young lady could say anything as she looked over at Old Ji with an extremely exhausted look on her face.

”Ji Yichuan, we might not have known each other for long but I hope you can take care of the young lady… Hah… When we start fighting, try to look for an opportunity to escape with the young lady!” Breathing roughly with each passing second. The elderly woman secretly informed Old Ji with her divine sense before turning around and focusing on the slowly approaching demonic cultivator.

Clenching his fists upon hearing what the old lady said, Old Ji prepared to take the young lady and escape the moment that the opportunity presented itself.

No matter what, he would not let the old lady’s sacrifice be in vain! Oh, and the two unknowing former underlings of the bandit leader…

Xuan Hao did not hear what the old lady had secretly informed Old Ji, formerly known as Elder Skinling from the Black Rose Sect, about… But he could still guess it from his determined look and focused attention on the young lady from the Flowing Cloud Sect.

The fact that he was looking behind himself for a possible escape route just made it easier for Xuan Hao to deduce as the demonic cultivator had most likely come to the same conclusion.

Looking over, Xuan Hao barely managed to spot a growing smirk on the demonic cultivator’s lips as he felt his divine sense focusing on Old Ji. Preparing for his attempt to escape.

”Looks like I won’t be able to sit on the side-lines for any longer!” Seeing the situation in front of him, Xuan Hao decided to lend a hand to Old Ji.

After all, it seemed like the former elder of a demonic sect had indeed turned his life around and Xuan Hao did not really want to deal with the demonic cultivator from the Fire Blood Gang in the future as the Fire Blood Gang had indeed begun focusing their attention on the Heavenly Sky Kingdom after the war between the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and Azure Sky Kingdom broke out…

Though… From how things were going now, Xuan Hao believed that both kingdoms would calm down with the appearance of the secret realm as neither party would want to accidently offend any of the bigshots passing by on their way to the secret realm…

With this in mind, Xuan Hao decided that he would deal with the demonic cultivator before he ended up causing any unforeseen damage on his trip to the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, like teaming up with the local demonic sect to attack a certain sect located just beside them…

Whoosh~

Jumping down from the tree branch he was standing on, Xuan Hao walked over towards the battlefield with a carefree look on his face.

After all, even if the demonic cultivator was at the second demonic transformation, being comparable to someone at the peak of the Nascent Soul Realm, it was far from enough to be a real threat to him with his pseudo sword domain.

Only someone half a step into the Domain Lord Realm could cause the current Xuan Hao to be careful!

…

”Hm? Who is it!?” Sensing someone approaching all of a sudden. The demonic cultivator narrowed his eyes as he carefully observed his surroundings before finally spotting Xuan Hao walking over with a carefree look on his face.

Who is this guy!?

The demonic cultivator felt an unprecedented danger approaching him as he could not sense the cultivation realm of the approaching Xuan Hao due to his domain’s concealment ability still being active.

This in turn caused the demonic cultivator to be even more cautious as he clearly knew that Xuan Hao did not have any kind intentions planned for him… Well, he was a demonic cultivator…

”Who is that?” The young lady from the Flowing Cloud Sect exclaimed loudly as she also spotted Xuan Hao and soon everyone had turned around to focus their attention on the approaching Xuan Hao.

”Elder Xuan!?” Old Ji’s reaction was different compared to the others as he clearly knew the person approaching, this in turn also caused him to grow a bit more confident as he had clearly seen him fly before.

Elder Xuan was most likely someone in the Domain Lord Realm!

Believing this, Old Ji felt way more confident in their survival as he doubted that Xuan Hao would let the former bandit leader get away alive.

”You know him?” Hearing Old Ji’s exclamation, the young and old lady both turned around and looked at him with a questioning look asking for him to explain.

”Yes, he once helped me out in the past, with him here we should be fine!” Explaining things shortly without mentioning how he was part of demonic sect, or anything related to that, Old Ji confidently looked over in the direction of Xuan Hao as he had come to a stop a short distance away from the demonic cultivator.

Both parties observed each other as neither made the first move.

The demonic cultivator was fully concentrated as he prepared for the attack, while Xuan Hao was just carelessly standing in front of him without moving.

”Hmph! Might I ask who you are?” Cautiously observing Xuan Hao who had suddenly appeared. The demonic cultivator could not stop his curiosity as he asked.

”I’m Bright Sword!” Smiling cheekily at the demonic cultivator, Xuan Hao decided to use the nickname that he had used in the past to register at the Explorer Union.

After all, he did not want his real name to be known by the people from the Flowing Cloud Sect.

If people found out where he was from and the fact that he had been to the secret realm, Xuan Hao could end up drawing all sorts of unwanted trouble to the Flying Sword Sect as people showed up to either steal or try to persuade him to hand over the things that he might have found inside of the secret realm.

”Bright Sword… I don’t think I have heard your name before…” Muttering the name of the person in front of him for a bit as he tried to remember if he had heard about anyone like that before. The demonic cultivator helplessly shook his head after failing to recall anyone like that.

”Haha, that is not unusual! I have just recently come around here as I normally explore different places through the Explorer Union!” Saying this, Xuan Hao mostly wanted the others to believe that he was just a random explorer from the Explorer Union that had passed by and happened to stumble upon the secret realm along the way.

Old Ji also heard what he said and understood the underlying meaning of him wanting to keep his identity a secret.

”An explorer from the Explorer Union I see… I guess I don’t have to worry, but you were unlucky to show up here! You will die just like these people!” Not thinking much more about it after hearing that Xuan Hao was an explorer from the Explorer Union and not some big sect or empire. The demonic cultivator did not hold back as a terrifying killing intent erupted. Instantly covering Xuan Hao along with the two underlings and three people from the Flowing Cloud Sect.
