Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Calculus and Controlled Chaos

Ethan and Hailey settled into the last row of the vast calculus auditorium. The seats were old, padded, and blessedly far from the gaze of the professor. Up front, Ming and Max were already absorbing the material like human sponges.

The aging Calculus professor, whose name Ethan hadn’t bothered to learn, adjusted his tie and began his lecture.

”Good morning. Today, we delve deeper into the fundamental theorem of calculus,” the professor droned, scratching a complex, multi-variable equation onto the whiteboard. ”We’ve established the concept of the definite integral—the area under the curve—and today, we link it back to the derivative. For example, consider the function f(x) = frac{x^3}{3} + 4x. The derivative, f’(x), gives us the instantaneous rate of change...”

Ethan leaned back, half-listening, his eyes narrowed as the professor’s voice blurred into a monotonous drone about derivatives and integrals. The material was simple, instantly processed by his enhanced mind, allowing him to simply observe the room.

Suddenly, he felt a soft, tentative touch on his inner thigh. He lowered his gaze and saw a slender hand, with delicate, pale fingers, resting on his leg. He followed the hand up to its owner: Hailey. She was hunched slightly, her small, firm chest barely brushing the table, a nervous smile twitching at her lips.

”Hailey,” he murmured, his voice low and teasing, a slight smirk playing on his lips. ”What are you doing?”

Hailey bit her lip, her cheeks flushed bright red, but her eyes held a defiant glint. Her voice was barely a breath above a whisper.

”Your... gear shift lever,” Hailey said, meeting his gaze. ”I want to use it.”

[Holy smokes! The Koala just turned into a jungle predator in the middle of a lecture. Do you think this act counts as ”active participation” in the subject, Champion? L’Hôpital’s Rule applies to functions, not your crotch!]

The professor continued, oblivious: ”... and by applying L’Hôpital’s Rule, we can easily resolve this indeterminate form...”

Hailey’s hand, small and determined, deftly slipped beneath the fabric of Ethan’s jeans. Her touch was hesitant at first, but once she made contact, she didn’t retreat.

Ethan inhaled sharply, a silent curse forming in his mind. He leaned forward, resting his chin on his palm, pretending to follow the lecture to hide the sudden tension in his body.

”You’re bold, Miller,” Ethan whispered back, his voice strained. ”Five minutes ago, you were terrified of me. Now you’re trying to give me a heart attack in a room full of aspiring physicists.”

Hailey let out a nervous, airy laugh that was instantly muffled as she buried her face slightly into her textbook, shielding her actions. Her eyes, however, stayed locked on his.

”I told you I was embarrassed,” she replied, her voice shaking but determined. ”But I realized I was stupid to run. You’re... you’re worth the risk. And you’re right. It is mine to play with.”

Her fingers wrapped around him, her grip surprisingly firm, and she began to move with a rhythm that was entirely too effective for an academic setting.

[Watch out there, Champion! Blood flow has completely diverted from the brain to ’high-priority’ areas. Looks like the neocortex just declared a strike. Recommendation: Dare to screw! The professor is approaching the integral of doom, and you’re approaching the climax of disaster.]

Ethan gritted his teeth, his knuckles white against his desk. ”I appreciate the enthusiasm, but we have an audience, Koala.”

”I don’t care,” Hailey challenged him softly, her small smile turning genuinely sensual. ”Let’s see how well you can focus on the area under the curve when I’m changing the rate of change of your blood pressure.”

The professor was now pointing directly at the blackboard. ”Notice, class, how the limits of integration must be defined before we can achieve a solution!”

Ethan glanced quickly toward the front. Ming was scribbling notes furiously, and Max was rubbing his temples, likely still thinking about the Hermès bag, completely unaware of the private lesson taking place ten feet away.

[The professor is right! Your limits are definitely being tested, Champion. If you fail to contain this explosive derivative, the result will be mandatory expulsion and an astronomical dry cleaning bill. Please control this academic emergency!]

The System’s constant stream of mockery was the only thing keeping Ethan grounded. He loved the danger, the audacity of the girl, and the sheer irreverence of the act. He had never been with a woman so innocent and yet so quickly willing to embrace chaos.

The professor continued to lecture, his voice a dull drone in the background as Ethan focused on the escalating pleasure Hailey was bringing him. He could feel his entire core tightening, his orgasm building as she stroked him, her hand moving faster, her grip tighter.

The professor was writing the following function on the board: g(x) = sin(x^2) + e^4x.

Suddenly, the professor stopped, his chalk clattering lightly on the tray. His eyes scanned the room, landing directly on Ethan in the back corner.

”Mr. Blake,” the professor called out, his voice sharp and demanding attention. ”Can you explain the derivative of this function?”

Ethan flinched, his mind racing to re-engage with the lecture. His hand instinctively reached down to still Hailey’s, a silent plea for her to stop. But she shook her head, a mischievous, predatory glint in her eye, her hand continuing to move, to stroke him, to bring him closer to the edge.

Ethan cleared his throat, his voice slightly shaky with effort, but he managed to keep it steady.

”Yes, Professor,” Ethan replied, his eyes locked on Hailey’s, his body tense with the effort of maintaining his composure. ”Applying the chain rule, the derivative, g’(x), is 2x cos(x^2) + 4e^4x.”

Hailey continued to stroke him, her hand moving faster, her grip tighter, her eyes locked on his, a clear challenge in their depths: Focus on the math, or surrender to me.

”Very good, Mr. Blake,” the professor said, his voice approving, missing the inner turmoil entirely. ”Anyone else?”

Ethan leaned back, defeated, his breathing ragged as the professor turned back to the board. The tension in the corner of the auditorium was suffocating, and Hailey had just won the first round.
