Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Aiko was always hanging around Mei to keep that annoying turtle away. It was difficult to deal with him since he didn’t have a real body and if Aiko munched on him a bit too hard, then he would be unable to create that bead for her.

She already decided to punish him later once she skinned him alive of his Treasures.

”How are you feeling?” Aiko kept asking this question every once in a while.

”I’m fine, you will understand one day when you obtain this form.” Mei gently petted Aiko. She was a lot more agreeable in this form and Mei felt even guiltier about what she caused before, but she was unable to tell Aiko yet.

She liked this happy and kind Aiko and was worried about what would happen if she knew that Mei caused most of that trouble...

...

Aiko went outside the improvised den, which was heated with Spirit Crystals.

”Should I hunt for more meat?” Aiko asked the Blood Fox who was cooking.

”You don’t have to.” The Blood Fox smiled gently. She nudged Aiko back inside, so that she could focus on cooking.

The Twins were already hunting for Food and testing their Divine Sense in combat. It was difficult to use it without damaging themselves from the backlash. Moreover, it was also harder to gauge someone’s strength when it came to Divine Sense, so you were more likely to injure yourself.

That is also one of the reasons why Cultivators don’t use Divine Sense in battles, since the outcome is completely uncertain!

Aiko went back inside and observed Mei. ”Are you still healing?”

”Mhm.” Mei hummed while lying on the soft ’bed’.

”I can’t believe that you turned lazy so quickly.” Aiko threw a playful jab at Mei.

Mei choked and glared back. ”That is like the pot calling the kettle black!” She immediately wanted to pinch Aiko, but she dodged.

”Come here!” Mei commanded.

”No.” Aiko pouted and dodged again. ”You will have to try harder if you want to pinch me again!” She proclaimed.

*Poof*

It was that time of the day, so Aiko transformed again.

”And now pinching has a whole new meaning~!” Aiko smirked at Mei.

”You-!” Mei was completely speechless at the shameless Aiko.

”What~?” Aiko hummed, getting closer with her big form.

Mei immediately turned around, but Aiko never intended to do anything, so she just hugged Mei.

”Hehe~, you are warm, Mei~.” Aiko hummed happily while hugging Mei.

”Why are you taking advantage of me when I’m weak?” Mei pouted.

”Because you took advantage of me when I was weak...” Aiko blinked a few times.

Mei exchanged a few glances with Aiko and said, ”Then I won’t do it again.” She was at a disadvantage, so she had to give in.

”Too late for that.” Aiko rubbed her face on Mei’s bosom.

”...” Mei could only sigh. Her first Mate was not this shameless, but they did share similar cuteness.

”I will be healing a bit longer before I start Cultivating. Do you have any questions?” Mei asked Aiko, since she could tell her about the current form without holding back.

”Does it hurt? How about your balance? How is your hearing? Can you still seduce- Auch!” The last sentence earned Aiko a smack.

”It didn’t hurt. You can get used to it. It’s worse, but better at the same time. Don’t even think about it.” Mei had already gotten used to the fact that Aiko would assault her with questions and learned how to answer quickly.

”You didn’t have to smack me.” Aiko rubbed her head, and while it didn’t hurt, she was still trying to make Mei feel guilty for smacking her.

Mei snorted at Aiko since she had already seen through her. She was already guilty of her previous wilfulness, so she didn’t want to feel even more guilty!

”Anyway.” Aiko stopped rubbing her head. ”Want a lap rest?” She smiled innocently at Mei.

”You just want to see my boobs jiggle.” Mei smacked Aiko again, but still used her lap for rest.

”Hehe~” Aiko smiled like a pervert. Now she understood why in those stories were those people simps. It was amazing to see them jiggle and sway and since she lacked any entertainment, it was obvious that she would pick some bad habits.

Aiko really wanted to knead them, since they were slightly apart, but seeing Mei’s gaze she turned around trying to distract herself.

”At least you are not molesting me.” Mei teased Aiko.

”Hpmf, don’t test me.” Aiko had no remorse about cupping a feeling.

Mei giggled and caressed Aiko’s thigh as she turned around. She would rest like this for a bit and recover more, thanks to the strange Ability that Aiko had.

Aiko naturally stiffened, since nobody ever did those things to her. She didn’t know what to do with Mei who excited her, but also innocently slept on her.

’No... can it be considered innocent, when she caresses me like that?’ Aiko tilted her head. It was possible that Mei didn’t do it on purpose, but what if she did?

Aiko crossed her arms and tapped it with her finger. Should she do something about this or not? Aiko didn’t know if it was appropriate, since she was quite happy with their current relationship.

She also had to figure out who caused her so much trouble, but with Mei around in this fragile state, that would turn out to be difficult...

Aiko sighed and rested with Mei. She would just stockpile a bunch of Spirit Crystals behind her, so she could lean on them and rest peacefully.

...

Mei had quite a nightmare during her rest. She was being chased by Aiko who would lick her thighs and rub her boobs...

Mei groaned unhappily, but she was mostly healed to a point where she could gather the Heaven and Earth Energies.

This would also allow her to speed up the rest of her recovery.

Mei turned towards the still-sleeping Aiko, opening and closing her mouth.

She would just let her sleep for the time being and only tell her later.

Right now she had to investigate all of the Cultivation Manuals and see if any of them fit her new body.

Since she obtained an additional Bloodline, her Body changed accordingly.

’I will have to investigate my Spiritu-’

[collapse]

Mei rubbed her eyes a few times. She could not believe what she just saw.

This thing was able to accurately gauge her current skills and internal components!

’No wonder Aiko is so obsessed with this. I can see what I’m lacking and adjust it as I see fit.’ Mei’s eyes burned with her experimenter’s soul.

She wanted to disassemble this thing and look inside later.

She was quite happy that it was able to evaluate her so closely. Nothing could be hidden from this thing, even if she hated it.

’[Heavenly Volcano Goddess Kitsune]...’ Mei clicked her tongue. She never heard of such Bloodline, but it was obvious that this thing caused all that ruckus...

’I also got the cursed [Dew Goddess Kitsune] Bloodline.’ Mei shook her head.

Her Innate Ability completely changed, which will cause her a lot of pain. Not because it was not good, but because it was too good.

’Most have to temper their body through pain and suffering, but I can just use the [Sacred Infernal Furnace] to strengthen my body and [Sacred Encompassing Star] to guide the energies.’ Mei nibbled her nails since this was too overpowered. You would be happy with just one of those, but she got both of them. Let’s not talk about just getting stronger, if she can keep this hidden she would even dominate the Immortal World!

Mei clicked her tongue again when someone hugged her.

”You shouldn’t bite your finger.” Aiko said sleepily as she held Mei’s hand.

She yawned before continuing. ”How do you like the system?”

Aiko noticed that Mei was staring blankly into nothingness, so it was obvious that she was looking at something foreign.

”Mhm...” Mei was extremely happy. She even knew that she shouldn’t temper her body any more, otherwise, it might decline! This was invaluable information!

”Ah, right...” Aiko yawned again. ”Here is another gift, so I hope you will get something good.”

Aiko clicked on the [Bloodline Gift(Servant)] and waited for Mei to absorb it.

At first, Mei flinched at being flooded by the information, but the system took over.

[Cultivation Manual: [Divine Scattered Stars Scripture(Complete, ??? Form)], Too many to count]

After who knows how long, Mei blinked slowly. This was such a profound Technique that she got lost in it several times. It truly earned the name Divine Scattered Stars!

Mei’s guilt completely peaked.

”I was the one who destroyed those temples.” Mei suddenly blurted out.

The half-sleeping Aiko stiffened. She was having some kind of hallucination right now. She just heard Mei say that she destroyed them.

Mei noticed that Aiko was confused, so she said it again.

”I’m sorry for not telling you about my plan and causing you so much pain.” Mei’s voice quivered while she spoke.

Aiko had no expression, which made Mei even more scared about what she would do.

Before Mei could say anything, Aiko stopped hugging her.

”I will need some time to think.” Aiko understood that it was not a good idea to immediately jump into the river. She would safely cross it once she calmed down.

Aiko left Mei in that empty nest.

’This is killing me...’ Mei understood why Aiko left, but this loneliness was not good after she confessed...
