Xia Zhi turned his head and answered with a smile, ”Dad, you don’t get it, there’s something bigger at work here, I’ll explain it to you later.”

”I still won’t get it even after you do…” Chengwu waved his hands dismissively and went into the living room to watch his TV series.

Xia Zhi realized Xinghe was still focused on cutting the vegetables, she didn’t even glance at his laptop’s screen. He was curious.

”Sis, why aren’t you looking at this? It’s 5,000,000 RMB, did you not hear me?”

Xia Zhi believed Xinghe could definitely help Chui Corps solve this virus issue.

Xinghe had been deified to a mythical status in his heart. For Xia Zhi, there was no computer-related problem that she couldn’t handle.

That was why his first reaction when he saw this thread was the thought, they had struck gold!

After Xinghe disarmed the virus, they would be 5,000,000 RMB richer!

Xinghe turned her head in a graceful arc and claimed rather unsatisfactorily, ”Only 5,000,000 RMB?”

”…” Xia Zhi said, ”Sis, it’s 5,000,000 RMB, not 500,000 RMB, that’s six 0’s after a 5!”

”The profit Chui Corps will receive from defusing this virus is certainly more than a measly 5,000,000 RMB. Their planned partnership with Xi Empire will fall through if this virus problem is not solved and that partnership is definitely worth more than 5,000,000 RMB,” Xinghe explained.

Xia Zhi was astonished. He asked, ”Sis, why are you so familiar with their company’s details?”

Xinghe offered nonchalantly, as if she was describing the weather, ”I hacked into Chui Corps’ internal database.”

Xia Zhi almost slipped from shock.

”Sis, what did you say?” He stared at Xinghe disbelievingly, echoing, ”You hacked into Chui Corps’ internal database‽”

”I did,” Xinghe confirmed with a shrug.

Behaving as if it wasn’t crazy - not to mention illegal - to hack into a company’s database.

Xia Zhi was rendered speechless.

It was a huge risk hacking a company’s server, so why did she do it?

”Sis, why did you hack into Chui Corps? Don’t tell me… You have something to do with this virus?” Xia Zhi asked cautiously.

The moment the words left his mouth, he laughed.

”What am I saying, how could the virus have something to do with you? Sis, I of course wouldn’t believe you would do something like this.”

”Nope, you were right the first time. I created the virus,” Xinghe admitted easily.

Xia Zhi had his jaw down to the floor.

”Sis, it was really you‽ You aren’t messing with me, are you? But why did you do it, things will be so bad if you get found out…” Xia Zhi said hurriedly after he came to. He was so shocked that everything came out in a whisper. Anxiety was written plainly on his face.

He could never have guessed his sister was responsible for the virus that blew up the hacker’s forum.

The Xinghe that he knew was not a malicious person. She wouldn’t deliberately release a computer virus to harm innocent people.

Xinghe knew what he was thinking so she replied in a low voice, ”Xia Wushuang’s husband is Chui Corps’ Chui Ming.”

It finally dawned for Xia Zhi.

”Sis, is this because you want to take revenge against them? But you shouldn’t have targeted Chui Ming, he’s Wushuang’s husband but he shouldn’t be guilty by association. Plus, we shouldn’t make unnecessary enemy. The people that have it out for us are only Wu Rong and Wushuang.”

”The person who ordered the hit on you is Chui Ming.”

This was another surprise revelation for Xia Zhi.

Xinghe elaborated, ”The two men that assaulted you are Chui Ming’s personal bodyguards. They wouldn’t have done so without Chui Ming’s go-ahead.
