Chapter 1399: Chapter 1395: Sword Comprehension

Chu Zhiyuan stared at the small sword in front of him, first sensing its danger.

Instinct didn’t give a warning, clearly posing no threat to him.

He secretly speculated, what could the lower part of the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture be?

He slowly reached out his hand and gently grasped the sword hilt of the small sword.

A cool and moist feeling lingered on the hilt.

He raised the sword, bringing it close.

The sword seemed to be shrouded in mist, even though it was right in front of him, it was impossible to see clearly.

Lu Wanshan on the side said, ”Activate the mental method of the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture and infuse it within the sword.”

Chu Zhiyuan nodded.

He gently waved the small sword, starting the Heavenly Sword Eighteen Forms practice.

The Heavenly Sword Eighteen Forms are divided into three parts: Qi Transformation, God Transformation, and Spirit Transformation, each part consisting of three forms.

Yet when truly practicing, they flow seamlessly.

The Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture is indeed mysterious, but it does not mean that practicing the six forms of Spirit Transformation will truly enable one to become Spirit Venerable.

Chu Zhiyuan felt that this was a common feature of all Secret Martial Arts Manuals: exaggeration.

First paint a big picture, allowing the practitioner to have firm confidence and work harder in cultivation.

As he waved the small sword, the flow of True Yuan cycled endlessly within his meridians.

The Sword Posture guided the True Yuan, which is the unique and mysterious aspect of the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture, without expending spiritual power to drive the True Yuan.

While True Yuan was circulating, it also entered the small sword in his hand.

The originally mist-like small sword, as True Yuan circulated, gradually cleared of mist, revealing its true form.

It was a small sword like autumn water.

As True Yuan was infused, the autumn water-like small sword continued to change.

It extended from one foot long to two feet, then to three feet, and four feet.

After reaching four feet, it became less agile, making it difficult to flexibly perform the Eighteen Forms.

He lightly floated upwards, reaching the air, continuing to activate the longsword as if walking on flat ground.

With further infusion of True Yuan, the longsword continued to grow from five feet to six feet, seven feet, eight feet, eventually reaching nine feet.

That was three meters long, almost as high as a floor level.

As the sword lengthened, it also widened, from two fingers wide to a palm’s width, and then to the width of a person.

He soared higher and higher, swinging the great sword in the air, as the sword was so wide, long, and bright, he appeared thin and looked very strange.

Yet, the longsword moved slowly, the Eighteen Forms were performed steadily, his demeanor was resplendent, a leisurely and calm aura enveloped him completely.

He stood in the void, several meters taller than the temple’s roof edge, holding the longsword, forming a strong impact, drawing the attention of the disciples from Heavenly Sword Peak.

They looked over with curiosity, immediately floated to the front of the temple, looking up.

”Junior Brother Chu, what kind of sword is this?”

”Never seen such a long sword, such a wide sword, huh, the sword is still lengthening and widening!”

”Is it Sword Aura?”

”No, it’s indeed the sword that is changing!”

”What kind of sword is this?”

”Never seen it.”

”Never heard of it, such an unusual sword, but Brother Chu’s Swordsmanship is truly outstanding, incredibly exquisite!”

”Exquisitely remarkable!”

They watched Chu Zhiyuan’s every move, mouths full of praises.

”Is this the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture?”

”Very likely the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture!”

”Can we practice it?”

”Since it’s being performed like this, perhaps we can learn it?”

”Then try it!”

”A good opportunity, hurry to learn!”

”Yes, yes, hurry!”

At this moment, Lu Wanshan’s voice echoed in everyone’s ears: ”Follow along with the sword training, learn as much as you can!”

He stood with hands behind him in front of the temple, looking up at Chu Zhiyuan in the sky, shaking his head with a wry smile.

The threshold for the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture is too high, most disciples cannot learn it.

But with Chu Zhiyuan’s demonstration, the threshold lowered rapidly, there might be disciples among them who can directly enter the door and thus practice.

Everyone’s spirits lifted, hurriedly unsheathing their swords, starting to practice with Chu Zhiyuan.

They strived to keep pace with Chu Zhiyuan, replicating the same actions, the same frequency.

Inexplicably, they felt something peculiar, True Yuan began to move vigorously within their bodies.

They were overjoyed, continuing to watch Chu Zhiyuan’s every move, imitating his Sword Posture and rhythm.

Chu Zhiyuan stood in the void, feet not touching the ground yet as if walking on flat terrain, swinging the sword with increasing composure.

Eventually, his body seemed like a floating feather, dancing with the longsword.

Combining rigidity and softness, speed and slowness, creating a harmonious and beautiful scene.

As the crowd swung their swords, inexplicably immersed in this picture of rigorous and flexible conjunction, their own Sword Posture followed in changing, the integration of rigidity and softness, True Yuan surging like a tide.

The longsword no longer lengthened or widened but began to grow brighter.

Brighter and brighter, until the crowd could no longer look directly, they could only narrow their eyes, capturing his figure amid the light.

At the beginning, his figure could still be seen, but then it seemed to be melted by sunlight, completely integrated into the light.

Chu Zhiyuan felt himself transforming into a longsword, merging with the great sword in his hand.

And the great sword kept expanding, growing larger and larger, ten meters, twenty meters, thirty meters, one hundred meters, one thousand meters... ten thousand meters.

Ultimately parallel with the sky, merging with the universe.

The sword was the universe, the universe was the sword, he too was the sword, integrated with the universe as one.

In a drunken stupor, the void in his mind seemed to stir like Miao Jing Spirit Water.

Suddenly, he awakened.

Immediately discovering that the longsword in his hand was still moving, the brilliance was dazzling, impossible to look directly at.

While he seemed weightless all around, merged with the longsword, merged with the air.

Such a wide sword, yet no resistance from the air was encountered, instead utilizing the air’s resistance.

He realized something, understanding what the lower part of the Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture was.

His mind filled with wonder: Indeed, what a Heavenly Sword Secret Scripture!

With a slight thought, the brilliance of the longsword quickly retracted, returning within the sword body, converging into his mind.

The longsword’s brilliance retracted completely, swiftly shrinking into a slim form, ultimately transforming back into the original small sword shape, shrouded like a layer of thick mist, impossible to see clearly.

While standing in the void, he remained motionless, caressing the sword body of the small sword.

Following that, everyone stopped their Sword Posture, feeling a mix of confusion and irrepressible excitement.

In this moment, True Yuan flowed vigorously within their bodies, as if they had cultivated for years, years of pure skill.

Chu Zhiyuan glanced down at everyone, smiling and nodding.

Everyone clasped their fists: ”Junior Brother Chu!”

Chu Zhiyuan nodded, floated to the front of Lu Wanshan, offering the small sword with both hands: ”Thank you, Sect Leader!”

Lu Wanshan’s expression was quite complex, softly said, ”Did you comprehend it?”

Chu Zhiyuan replied: ”Yes.”

Lu Wanshan shook his head with a wry smile: ”Such disparity in comprehension is truly despairing.”

He himself struggled to comprehend for so long but yet to get started, while Chu Zhiyuan, in just mere moments, had already glimpsed the mystery.

This disparity truly was heaven and earth apart, the gap so wide it was despairing.

Lu Wanshan waved his hand: ”Everyone, return individually and contemplate what you gained today well.”

They all clasped their fists in salute, turned around and hurriedly went back, trying to consolidate while the feeling lasted.

Chu Zhiyuan and Lu Wanshan entered inside the temple.

As they walked inside, Lu Wanshan sighed, ”Didn’t expect it was this fast.”

Chu Zhiyuan said, ”To begin, one must overcome its interference, overcome the original understanding.”

Lu Wanshan frowned and pondered.

Chu Zhiyuan said, ”Sect Leader, attack me with one sword.”

Lu Wanshan swiftly turned, the longsword at his waist instantly unsheathed, stabbing towards Chu Zhiyuan.

Chu Zhiyuan’s Golden Sword also unsheathed, lightly meeting it.

The sword tip already reached Lu Wanshan’s throat.

While Lu Wanshan’s sword was still midway.

He halted the Sword Posture, frowning at Chu Zhiyuan.

Chu Zhiyuan retracted the sword back to the sheath: ”Again, Sect Leader.”

Lu Wanshan’s paused sword tip rapidly stabbed again, the distance was shorter, the speed faster.

Yet the next instant, the tip of the Golden Sword again reached his throat.

”How is this possible?” Lu Wanshan frowned in bewilderment: ”It can’t be this fast, can it?”
