Chapter 1309: Chapter 1305: Hatching a Plan

”Ahem, otherwise, ... forget it.” Su Qi coughed lightly.

The three of them looked at him.

Su Qi sighed helplessly: ”That guy mastered the Ascension Technique, which threatens our true bodies. It’s too dangerous.”

”Are we just going to ignore it?” The round-faced middle-aged man quickly said, ”Are we just going to sneak back in defeat?”

Su Qi sighed helplessly: ”Now it seems this is the best way. Are we really going to fight him? What if he chases us into You Meng Heaven? Can we withstand him?”

The round-faced middle-aged man and the thin middle-aged man both shook their heads.

They had already learned about the Ascension Technique, which for the Undying Evil Venerable, is indeed a powerful weapon.

The thin middle-aged man lowered his voice: ”Brother Su, if you let him confront your Third Elder, who will win?”

”Exactly!” The round-faced middle-aged man clapped immediately: ”That’s a good idea!”

He turned his head admiringly: ”Old Ding, you sure are full of tricky ideas!”

The thin middle-aged man’s eyes gleamed as he stared at Su Qi.

Su Qi frowned.

Zhu Lingyun said slowly, ”That Third Elder cannot descend. He is famous for his integrity and hates descension the most.”

Su Qi slowly nodded: ”The Third Elder indeed deeply detests this path. Many who have descended have fallen by his hand.”

”Ha!” The round-faced middle-aged man sneered: ”He detests it, but his own brother walks that path.”

”The Third Elder probably doesn’t know,” Su Qi said.

”Doesn’t know? Ha!” The round-faced middle-aged man said: ”With his authority, how could he not know? I think he must be covering for Hu Huixiang. After all, with Hu Huixiang’s original skills, he couldn’t even become a Venerable.”

The thin middle-aged man slowly nodded: ”He probably knows.”

He smiled slightly: ”Actually, it’s easy. Just provoke Hu Huixiang to descend, then lead Chu Zhiyuan to kill him. The Third Elder won’t be able to stay out of it.”

”Exactly!” The round-faced middle-aged man praised: ”That’s not too hard, right?”

Su Qi frowned, looking hesitant.

The thin middle-aged man said: ”We hide in the shadows, just don’t leave a trace.”

The round-faced middle-aged man nodded quickly: ”We’ll stay far away.”

”You don’t know how powerful the Third Elder is.” Su Qi shook his head: ”We might not be able to fool him.”

”We won’t reveal any breath...”

Su Qi shook his head: ”The Third Elder is infinitely close to the Divine Venerable. His skills are not something we can fathom.”

”Is he that terrifying?” The thin middle-aged man frowned.

Su Qi said: ”We don’t know how terrifying the Divine Venerable is. Those who have known are all dead.”

”Then layer some relationships,” the thin middle-aged man said seriously.

”How?” the round-faced middle-aged man asked urgently.

The thin middle-aged man said: ”Accidentally leak the location of the Qianye Sect, let the Evil Extermination Department know. If they can’t handle it, they’ll ask Chu Zhiyuan for help. With Chu Zhiyuan’s skills, killing Hu Huixiang is a piece of cake.”

”Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant!” The round-faced middle-aged man clapped his hands in admiration: ”Brilliant!”

He turned to look at Su Qi and saw Su Qi still hesitating, immediately displeased: ”Brother Su, isn’t this doable?!”

”It’s still a bit risky,” Su Qi said: ”It’s best to completely distance ourselves from this, not get involved at all.”

”Then what do you suggest?” The round-faced middle-aged man said moodily: ”Surely not just slinking back home without doing anything?”

”That’s the best way,” Su Qi said.

The round-faced middle-aged man snorted: ”If we hold back, we can forget about becoming a Divine Venerable!”

If our emotions aren’t right, it’s nearly impossible to become a Divine Venerable.

The thin middle-aged man said: ”Then let’s take a few more turns.”

”How?” the round-faced middle-aged man said: ”We’ve already twisted quite a bit, haven’t we?”

The thin middle-aged man said: ”There’s still one way: directly send the message through Chu Zhiyuan. It might actually block the Third Elder’s pursuit.”

Su Qi frowned: ”Hmm—?”

”Chu Zhiyuan’s cultivation is formidable, plus he has a Miracle Technique. He might be able to withstand the Third Elder. At least the Third Elder can’t easily get clues from him to find us,” the thin middle-aged man said.

Su Qi slowly nodded: ”Indeed.”

The thin middle-aged man said: ”Then let’s directly send the information to Chu Zhiyuan, revealing the location of the Qianye Sect to him. Given his nature, he will definitely go to the Qianye Sect in person!”

”Yes, he won’t let the Qianye Sect go,” the round-faced middle-aged man nodded: ”It’s said that he’s fiercely just and hates demons and evils the most. He won’t let them escape once he sees them.”

”Good idea, but how do we send the message to him?” Su Qi said: ”We can’t dare get too close, can we?”

”Just have someone deliver a message,” the thin middle-aged man said indifferently: ”Preferably find an unrelated person.”

”Eliminate them afterwards,” the round-faced middle-aged man said.

The thin middle-aged man waved his hand: ”Don’t eliminate.”

”Hmm—?” The round-faced middle-aged man didn’t understand: ”You mean leave the trail? What if the Third Elder comes to investigate?”

”Eliminating someone is more likely to expose us,” the thin middle-aged man said: ”Find someone who finds someone else, preferably find a Qianye Sect disciple. After Chu Zhiyuan arrives, few in Qianye Sect will survive; he’ll almost certainly die, which saves us from eliminating him.”

”Impressive.” The round-faced middle-aged man marveled: ”How did your mind grow to borrow a knife to kill so beautifully! You’re using Chu Zhiyuan’s hand to clean up for us!”

The thin middle-aged man smiled faintly.

He was also impressed with his own sudden insight, a truly ingenious move.

”This could be difficult,” Su Qi frowned: ”These guys aren’t that honest, if they say they’re delivering a message to Chu Zhiyuan, they’ll open it and read it right away.”

The thin middle-aged man said: ”Then say it’s a challenge letter for Chu Zhiyuan, a battle challenge.”

”Yes, yes, if they hear it’s a challenge letter, they won’t read further,” the round-faced middle-aged man nodded quickly.

The thin middle-aged man looked at Su Qi, then at Zhu Lingyun.

Zhu Lingyun frowned and said: ”Is there no way to focus on directly eliminating Chu Zhiyuan with experts?”

Seeing the possibility of deploying the Heaven Sacrifice Method slip away, he felt extremely unwilling.

This is truly a case of man proposes but heaven disposes.

Who would have thought these demons would be so cowardly, fleeing at the first sign of trouble?

Su Qi shook his head: ”Brother Zhu, don’t count on it.”

”Sigh..., these guys are so disappointing!” Zhu Lingyun shook his head and sighed.

Su Qi said: ”If they were truly tough, they’d be long dead by now. It’s exactly because they run fast that they’ve survived until now.”

The round-faced middle-aged man laughed: ”We can’t count on them, so let’s count on the Third Elder. Brother Su, let’s do it!”

Su Qi fell silent once more.

He was obviously extremely hesitant, not daring to take this step lightly.

”Is this Third Elder really that terrifying?” the round-faced middle-aged man saw him and couldn’t help but laugh: ”That scary?”

”More terrifying than you think!”

The round-faced middle-aged man said: ”So should we just leave Chu Zhiyuan alone? If they could take each other down, that would be perfect!”

”Actually...” Su Qi hesitated.

”Let’s do it!” The round-faced middle-aged man said seriously: ”If Chu Zhiyuan isn’t eliminated, I won’t be at ease.”

The thin middle-aged man slowly said: ”I feel the same. If this person is not removed, he’ll be a future threat, potentially endangering our entire You Meng Heaven.”

”...Alright!” Su Qi thought for a moment, finally gritting his teeth: ”Then let’s use the Third Elder’s hand to eliminate Chu Zhiyuan!”

He turned his head to look at Zhu Lingyun: ”Brother Zhu, what do you think?”

”It’s worth a try,” Zhu Lingyun said.

At that moment, Chu Zhiyuan withdrew his attention and strolled in the courtyard with his hands behind his back.

Anyway, if the Qianye Sect can be wiped out, it would be an immeasurable merit.

However, this Third Elder really needs careful investigation to understand his true abilities.

This Third Elder seems very powerful, almost invincible in Su Qi’s words.

Su Qi’s words do have some credibility.
