Chapter 170, Training in the Extremely Far North Ice Plains

“You want me to give him to you!?” The principal was taken aback.

Tu Jing nodded and smiled, “That’s right, give him to me.”

“You already know that I’m currently stationed in the Extremely Far North Ice Plains with the Griffin Legion. We are basically cut off from the world. It’s practically impossible for outsiders to go to the Extremely Far North Ice Plains to harm him. Firstly, the Extremely Far North Ice Plains is a Forbidden Area, ordinary people can’t set foot in there. Secondly, the location where my Griffin Legion is stationed is confidential, no one knows except for our own people. As for the people in the Griffin Legion, you should know, they were all handpicked by me and have fought alongside me for many years. It’s impossible for outsiders to infiltrate their ranks.”

“Think about it, if someone is targeting Dragon Capital University with the intention of taking Lu Fan’s life to make Dragon Country lose their representative and fail in the National Trial, then letting Lu Fan come with me to the Extremely Far North Ice Plains for this period of time is hands down the best choice. When the National Trial is about to begin, you can personally escort him to Extremistis Country. With you personally guarding him, his safety is practically guaranteed. At the same time, the Extremely Far North Ice Plains is also a great place to temper someone. If I guide this young man for a while, it will also help him get stronger for the National Trial.”

The principal remained silent for a long time, seemingly in thought.

Seeing this, Tu Jing smiled and added, “What’s wrong? Is there any flaw in my idea?”

The principal shook their head and said. “There’s no flaw, it’s just that I find it a bit unbelievable for the esteemed Northern Marquis to personally come and take away one of my students.”

“Haha, what’s so unbelievable? I knew him much earlier than you!” Tu Jing loudly laughed.

The principal fell silent again for a moment, then said, “He would indeed be well protected in your hands. But with the National Trial approaching, this is a crucial moment for preparation. To be honest, I had already formulated a preparation plan for Lu Fan that would allow him to help him get a lot stronger before heading to Extremistis Country.”

“As for you, oh esteemed Northern Marquis, you simply have too many things to manage. I’m afraid you won’t have much time and energy to focus on him. Plus, with the harsh environment of the Extremely Far North Ice Plains, I’m worried that sending him there with you… might waste his final month.”

“Haha!” Tu Jing laughed as he took out a huge black box from his Inventory and placed it on the tea table in front of him, “In the end, you’re just worried that I’ll take him away and then neglect him, right? Don’t worry, if that kid is handed over to me, I’ll use my own methods to make him stronger. Put your faith in me. I’ve personally come to pick him up, and I’m even giving this thing to that kid as a gift to help him shine in the National Trial. I’m already showing such sincerity, why are you still doubting me? Rest assured, if you hand this kid over to me, he will get stronger as fast as if he was in your hands! Maybe even faster! Hahaha!”

Seeing this black box, even the principal became a bit unsettled.

Because this box was not unfamiliar to the principal, and the contents inside had left a deep impression.

“You… you’re even willing to give this away?” The principal’s tone was once of massive doubt.

Tu Jing smiled and said, “What? In your heart, am I such a stingy person? Were the gifts I gave not presentable?”

As he spoke, he caressed the box, seemingly reminiscing about something, and said with a smile, “This thing has accompanied me into battle for many years. It’s indeed a bit hard to part with it. But, that kid deserves it. I also admire his character! Putting this in his hands can also be considered akin to passing down my inheritance.”

As he spoke, he put the box away again and said to the principal, “So, is my sincerity enough? Don’t worry, if he comes with me to the Extremely Far North Ice Plains, although the kid will suffer a bit, I can assure you that I will pay very close attention to him.”

The principal thought for a moment then finally nodded in agreement. “Fine then. I indeed find it difficult to give him much more here at Dragon Capital University. The National Trial is a huge and diversified Secret Realm. It’s good to let Lu Fan experience the harsh Wilderness of the Extremely Far North Ice Plains with you. However…”

The principal paused, then asked worriedly, “Is it really safe near your military camp?”

Tu Jing patted his chest and said, “Don’t worry! ‘That thing’ in the Extremely Far North Ice Plains is very strange. We still don’t understand exactly what’s going on, but it hasn’t shown any movement so far, so it should be safe. If there really is an incident, we have emergency Transport Arrays in our camp. At that time, I would fight to the death to send this kid back safely. I will never let Dragon Country lose such a talented young man!”

“I understand.” The principal gave a small nod, “If such a day really comes, I hope that your Griffin Legion can also retreat safely. Regarding letting Lu Fan go to the Extremely Far North Ice Plains, it’s not just up to you or me. We still need to ask for Lu Fan’s opinion. If he agrees, then you can take him away.”

Tu Jing stood up from the sofa, grinning as he said. “I know that. I’m going to meet this kid now. Hehe, I’ve felt a spiritual connection to him for a long time now, but this is going to be our first face-to-face meeting. I wonder if that kid knows my name?”

As he spoke, he was about to turn and leave.

The principal stood up and said, “Let me have Zhao Shengming take you to find him. Dragon Capital University is so big, do you know where he lives?”

Tu Jing replied without turning his head. “Isn’t it Villa No. 2? Yesterday, Villa No. 1 was attacked, so he took his roommates to stay at his friend’s villa. Of course I know.”

“Just go about doing your stuff. I’ll directly take him away later.” After saying this, Tu Jing pushed open the door and left.

The principal behind him was quite displeased and loudly swore, “Later, I will also get rid of all your spies!”

“Hahaha! Do as you please!” Tu Jing laughed heartily as he gradually walked away.

…

Outside Dragon Capital University, a luxury car slowly came to a stop. By the roadside, Jin Zhu, Chen Tianzhi, Cui Hongtai, and a group of people from Extremistis Country were waiting here. Seeing the luxury car stop, they all went forward to greet it.

The car door opened, and Jin Chenghan stepped out, smiling.

Jin Zhu immediately rushed over and hugged Jin Chenghan. “Big Brother! You’re finally here…”

“Hehe,” Jin Chenghan stroked Jin Zhu’s head, smiling as he said. “Sorry, I was busy preparing for the National Trial, constantly running a Dungeon Instance. This particular Dungeon Instance is located far from any urban area, and it takes several days to make a round trip. I had no choice but to stay in the Wilderness for quite some time to complete the Equipment Set that I want, dropped from that Dungeon Instance. But, as soon as I got my Equipment Set, I came right away, didn’t I?”

Jin Zhu, no longer domineering and tyrannical, looked completely pitiful in front of Jin Chenghan as she asked, “What’s more important, your equipment or your Sister?”

Jin Chenghan smiled and said, “Of course my Little Sister is more important. But I really had no choice. The National Trial is starting in less than a month, and as the representative of our Extremistis Country, I need to seize every moment to strengthen myself and strive for good results. We are hosting the National Trial this time. As the host, if we can’t achieve a good ranking, I’m afraid our people will curse me behind my back.”

Jin Zhu certainly understood, but she was still dissatisfied as she complained, “You’ve been constantly Levelling Up before, and after your Third Profession Change, you’ve been running Dungeon Instances for equipment. It’s been so long since we’ve had a meal together. If the National Trial Secret Realm doesn’t start soon, I’m afraid you’ll forget you even have a Little Sister!”

Jin Chenghan smiled helplessly and said. “How could that possibly happen? My dear Sister, please understand the situation your Big Brother is in. Look, after I win first place in the National Trial, I’ll take you to run the Dungeon Instance I’ve been running and help you get the same Equipment Set too!”

“Alright then. At that time, I want to go back to our Extremistis Country. I really can’t stand staying in this awful place for another moment!” Jin Zhu linked arms with Jin Chenghan, “Let’s go! I’ll take you to my residence to rest first.”

“Okay.” Jin Chenghan nodded, and at the same time asked, “It seems like you haven’t been very happy staying in Dragon Country. Besides that Dragon Tamer, has anyone else bullied you?”

“Isn’t that one Dragon Tamer enough? Brother, let me tell you, now that you’re here, you must teach that bastard a good lesson! He’s been opposing me repeatedly and he even hit me…”

The siblings discussed Lu Fan’s matter as they walked into Dragon Capital University with their entourage.

Chen Tianzhi followed silently behind them. He had originally hoped that Jin Zhu would introduce him to Jin Chenghan but that did not happen.

Chen Tianzhi felt quite disappointed, feeling that he was now no different from the other followers like Cui Hongtai, who was beside him.

Outsiders naturally could not enter Dragon Capital University at will, so Jin Zhu’s entourage could only stop at the entrance.

Jin Chenghan, being Jin Zhu’s Big Brother, was allowed to enter as a student’s Family member.

Along the way, Chen Tianzhi silently followed behind the two, with Jin Zhu not mentioning him at all. Instead, she exaggerated the story of how Lu Fan had hit her, telling every detail but with her suffering great injustice.

Jin Chenghan always doted on his Little Sister, and although he had heard about Jin Zhu being hit before, when he heard that she had been hit twice by the same person, once even in front of thousands of people, his gaze gradually turned cold.

“That bastard is really audacious…” Jin Chenghan narrowed his eyes, revealing a fierce light, “Where is he now?”

Jin Zhu immediately knew that Jin Chenghan wanted to help her get revenge, and she was overjoyed, “Big Brother, are you going to help me teach him a lesson?”

“Of course! One of my goals in coming here is to help you establish your authority. Otherwise, if any lowly Commoner can bully you, wouldn’t I be a failure as your Big Brother?”

“That’s great!” Jin Zhu felt like she could finally vent her anger. Her mood brightened even further, “He should be in Villa No. 2, not far from where I live. Yesterday, he got struck by divine retribution. His residence was attacked by someone, and the villa was burned to ruins, leaving him homeless. So, right now, he can only stay in the neighbouring villa, which is owned by a teammate of his.”

[Attacked in Dragon Capital University?] Jin Chenghan found this incident a bit unbelievable. Even as someone from Extremistis Country, he knew that in places like the top ten Universities, where expert Players were as common as clouds, small skirmishes like sparring matches might occur frequently but major incidents like being attacked to the point of arson was basically impossible.

However, Jin Chenghan did not think much about it and said. “Then, take me to this so-called Villa No. 2.”
