Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1353: Chapter 1352: Unraveling the Mysteries of Birth and Identity

Nia Mitchell couldn’t quite believe what Mr. Mitchell was saying.

She appeared at his doorstep pregnant.

So, Mr. Mitchell was essentially telling her that she wasn’t his biological daughter?

Nia Mitchell found this completely unacceptable, and she was on the verge of breaking down.

”Later, she gave birth to you. Since we lived in the hometown, where everyone is quite traditional, we publicly claimed to be a married couple.”

That means, actually, Molly Harguez was his first wife.

He wasn’t the single father people said he was.

”Later, for some unknown reason, she suddenly disappeared one day.”

At first, Mr. Mitchell was also very anxious about her disappearance.

But after searching for a long time, he never found her. ℯℯ𝑙.

He even wondered whether this woman did it on purpose, intending to abandon the daughter.

But then, seeing the bankbook she left behind, he felt it couldn’t be as he thought.

At that time, such an amount of money was definitely a fortune.

All these years, he had been using his own money to raise Nia Mitchell, and that sum of money had been sitting there, recently given to Nia Mitchell.

”Disappeared?”

Nia Mitchell looked at her father strangely. What did this mean?

How could someone just disappear without reason?

She simply couldn’t accept this.

”If you want to find your mother, I believe Young Master Peary now has means that could help locate her.”

Mr. Mitchell felt that after so many years, Nia Mitchell should know much of the truth.

He shouldn’t delay the child’s happiness.

She should know the truth, whether or not she decides to find her biological parents.

”Why was I abandoned?”

Nia Mitchell was puzzled.

No matter what happened to her mother then, wouldn’t a mother’s instinct be to keep her child by her side?

Why did she choose to suddenly disappear, leaving her here, and not show up for all these years?

They hadn’t moved before either; it was only in the last couple of years that Mr. Mitchell’s financial situation improved slightly, and he bought a house with Molly Harguez in the residential area in the city.

If her mother wanted to find her, it wouldn’t be impossible.

So there was only one explanation...

Thinking of this, Nia Mitchell was completely confused.

She had once complained in her heart that Mr. Mitchell was incompetent, feeling he had let her suffer grievances.

Now it seemed that she was the one who had burdened him.

For someone with no blood relation, the fact that Mr. Mitchell could raise her was already the greatest gift.

”So I am not your child at all.”

No wonder she felt she couldn’t integrate into this family.

He, Molly Harguez, and Aldy Mitchell seemed like a family of three, and she seemed like an outsider.

Turns out, this wasn’t just an illusion.

”I...”

Nia Mitchell didn’t know what to say, feeling chaotic inside.

She recalled the time she was robbed, how Mr. Mitchell unhesitatingly shielded her, taking all the punches and kicks.

If it weren’t for Mr. Mitchell, that knife might have been on her.

She might not have been as lucky as Mr. Mitchell.

Thinking about this, Nia Mitchell began to tremble all over.

”Thank you,”

Despite the confusion, she still knew gratitude. After saying this, she slowly squatted down.

”I want to be alone for a while. As for those things, I will think about whether I should accept them.”

Mr. Mitchell sighed and stood there lovingly looking at her.
