I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space

Chapter 477: Pseudo EX Rank Sword?

[Dark Star Sword | Grade: Pseudo EX Rank]

Name: Dark Star / Living Star

Creator: Tongue

[Description: A blade forged by an existence whose power transcends conventional reality itself. A sword created from an entire dense star, transformed into the shape of a blade while preserving the essence of its original form. The material itself originates from a living star.]

True Form: Unknown / Locked ???

Known Attributes: Weight Lock Mechanism (Sealed ×9)

[Dark Star exists under nine sequential seals. Each released lock dramatically increases the sword’s manifested mass.

Lock I ~ Released: Weight adjustable from feather-light → one million kilograms.

Lock II ~ Restricted: Weight adjustable up to one billion kilograms.

Lock III ~ Restricted: Weight adjustable up to one trillion kilograms.

Lock IV ~ ???

Lock V ~ ???

....

Lock IX ~ Absolute Release (Weight limitation removed. Sword manifests the full condensed weight of the original star.)

Abilities / Functions / Aspects:

Unknown ???

[System Analysis: Mass alone does not explain this weapon. A sword carrying stellar density should collapse terrain, distort motion, generate catastrophic gravitational effects, and become impossible to wield under known laws of physics. Yet despite violating physical, conceptual, and reality-based limitations, this sword continues to exist in stable form. Multiple hidden abilities, evolving properties, unknown functions, dormant aspects, and unresolved mysteries remain undiscovered.]

Razeal stared quietly at the floating screen for several seconds.

His lips parted slightly.

”...Pseudo EX rank?”

That was not an answer he expected.

Not even a little.

His eyes slowly lowered toward Dark Star resting in his hand.

The sword looked exactly the same.

No pressure.

No strange aura.

No overwhelming energy.

It still looked like an old dark blade

Thin Simple and Almost ordinary.. well not ordinary.. It was actually beautiful.. Actually Super Beautiful.. But definitely not looking something like EX Rank.

But then again after thinking for a moment

it actually made sense. Razeal knew very well what EX rank meant. It was not simply one level higher.

EX rank was not a continuation of normal measurement.

It existed outside of measurement.

Like.. Imagine there is a glass.

That glass represents the measurable system.

From F rank at the bottom... all the way to SSS+ at the top.

Water fills that glass.

Each mark is another rank.

More power.

More capacity.

Eventually

SSS+ means the glass is completely full.

That is the limit.

The highest measurable result.

But EX rank...

EX rank begins when the water does not stop.

It spills.

The moment when the measurement becomes meaningless.

Because once the glass overflows.. what comes after?

A cup?

A bucket?

A lake?

A sea?

Or.. An ocean?

They all receive the same answer.

EX.

Not because they are equal.. but because the scale itself stopped being useful.

And that was the terrifying part.

EX rank did not describe quantity. It described something surpassing quantity.

Pseudo EX... was probably similar. Not fully beyond measurement. But already standing outside normal standards.

Razeal slowly looked back at Dark Star.

Undeniably now, this sword was Pseudo EX Rank. Meaning it had completely surpassed the measurement standard of Cosmic Lord ranking and strength. It had crossed beyond what that system was even designed to measure. The glass analogy returned to Razeal again because it was the only way his mind could make sense of it. F Rank was water resting at the bottom. Higher ranks filled it more and more until SSS+ reached the brim.

That was the limit of the scale. But EX was different. EX was when the water spilled over. Once that happened, the amount stopped mattering. Whether it became another glass, a bucket, a swimming pool, or an entire ocean, the system could only call it one thing. Beyond measurement. And now this sword carried that title. Not true EX, but Pseudo EX. Even so, it still meant the same thing in principle. It had gone beyond the edge of the scale.

As for how strong that actually made it... Razeal honestly couldn’t know or imagine. He doesn’t know what is limit what EX Rank can do? Last time he saw EX rank being? She gifted him two stars. So yeah doesn’t have any idea..

He tried to think about it for a moment and found there wasn’t really anything to think with. His mind simply stopped somewhere in the middle and refused to go further. He didn’t know. He genuinely didn’t know. But at least now something finally made sense.

It explained why he had been able to one-shot a Supreme. It explained why the entire fight felt too easy or too effortless to end. Even now part of him still quietly doubted it.

There remained this stupid feeling in the back of his head that maybe nothing had actually happened, that maybe he had misunderstood something or mistaken the whole thing for some illusion. If not for the notification of +100,000 Killing Points.

Which means Zane did die.. For sure.

That part was difficult to deny.

As for why gaining this many points just by killing one point? It was obvious afterall his Killing Intent skill was still only S Rank. Killing an S Rank being normally gave one point. A Supreme was... well... far above S Rank. So getting an absurd amount of bonus points wasn’t so crazy of thing. At least that was what he assumed.

Still, what bothered him more wasn’t the points. It was the feeling sitting in his chest right now. He honestly didn’t know how he was supposed to feel.

To suddenly discover that the treasure he already considered absurdly valuable had turned out to be something on a completely different level.

Like yeah, he knew Dark Star was super super cool. He knew it was powerful. He knew obtaining it had already been insane lucky for him. But no. No fucking way had he expected it to become an object honored with EX in its rank. Even if it was only Pseudo EX, it still had EX attached to its name. That alone felt ridiculous.

And honestly... maybe he should’ve expected something. He had seen it happen with his own eyes. A whole star. An actual fucking star.. Compressing, transforming, changing shape until it became a sword? Then being handed to him as a gift. Remembering it now somehow made less sense than when he had first seen it happen.

Then another thought came to him and made him pause.

Wait. A whole star body turned into a sword... and it still wasn’t enough to achieve true EX Rank? That felt strange. A star was billions of times larger than a planet, wasn’t it? The amount of energy inside something like that was almost... almost infinite. Or maybe not infinite.

He honestly didn’t know enough to say. Stars just kept burning and throwing energy into space endlessly anyway. But still. The thought remained. If someone possessed the entire power of a star inside themselves and that still wasn’t enough to gain true EX...?.. Umm if yes then what exactly was EX? The idea left a strange taste in his mouth. Not fear. Not disappointment. Just something uncomfortable. Like suddenly realizing that what he thought was the peak wasn’t even close.

Anyway, he continued reading through the Dark Star description inside the system panel. There wasn’t much there he didn’t already know. The only known attribute. Weight Lock Mechanism. Nine locks. That much he was already aware of. Well... at least the first released lock.

That one he could fully use. The sword’s weight could shift from feather-light all the way to one million kilograms. Though honestly, he hadn’t experimented much with it. Right now the sword was set to two kilos. He didn’t really know why. Maybe because this weight simply felt the most comfortable in his hand. Natural. Easy to move?

As for why he hadn’t switched it to the full million and messed around with it... truthfully, he just never got the chance. And even this battle hadn’t gone the way he thought it would. If things had unfolded differently, if it had become an actual fight with back and forth exchanges, blood for blood and flesh for flesh, then Razeal would’ve absolutely tried it.

He would’ve loved to make Zane experience a million-kilo strike directly to the head. Just imagining it made him feel strangely excited. Hold the sword while it weighed almost nothing. Raise it easily. Then right before impact, increase the weight to millions.

The thought gave him the same feeling people probably got while cheating. Winning unfairly. Knowing there was nothing the other side could do about it. Yeah... that would’ve been fun.

Sadly, he never got to try. And weights above one million? He already tested that. Nothing happened. It was locked. Completely. No response no matter what he did. As for how he was supposed to unlock the second lock, or the third, or any of the others... he had no idea.

Absolutely none. Tongue hadn’t told him shit. Not even a hint. And would he want to unlock them? Damn right he would. That ability was practically cheating. The problem wasn’t desire. The problem was time. He never got time to wander around and investigate things. There was always something happening. Another fight. Another problem. Another reason to move forward. It was honestly annoying because he simply didn’t know what he was supposed to do.

Razeal looked at the system panel again. Everything else was still locked. Unknown. Question marks everywhere.

”Villey... why’s everything just question marks?” He asked inside his head.

[Maybe because they are unknown, Host?]

”So you mean... even you don’t know?” Razeal asked inside his head, his tone becoming strange. He looked at Dark Star again before narrowing his eyes slightly. Somehow that answer felt wrong. Villey not knowing something? That itself sounded ridiculous. Wasn’t this thing supposed to know everything? Every time before, whenever he asked something, there was always an answer waiting for him. Maybe not complete but always something. So hearing uncertainty now felt uncomfortable.

Villey remained quiet for a moment before answering.

[I cannot tell because this sword has only existed for a few days, Host. It is still developing.. Evolving.. I cannot describe abilities that do not yet fully exist. I can only record and display what the sword itself has already awakened, revealed, or become capable of. Until then, there is nothing for me to properly analyze or write into the description.]

Razeal quietly listened and slowly nodded to himself. That explanation made sense. He understood it logically. But emotionally? It still felt disappointing. He looked at the system panel again and frowned slightly.

”But this is basically giving me nothing...”

His eyes moved across all the question marks.

”I mean... there has to be some reason for it being tagged Pseudo EX, right? Tell me directly. What exactly is so special that it deserves that rank?”

Villey became silent again.

Then answered.

[Because it is made from a literal star.]

Razeal paused.

Villey continued.

[And maybe because it contains an absurd amount of energy trapped inside stable form. Its density alone already exceeds normal standards. Its durability borders absurdity. Unless something exists powerful enough to cut through an entire star in one strike, damaging this weapon should already be difficult.]

Then after a small pause

Villey’s tone strangely shifted.

[I mean seriously, Host... use some of your own brain sometimes. I literally wrote that the sword is made from an actual star. Do you want me to explain obvious things? Length? Color? Manufacturing details? The answer is simple. It is powerful. Extremely durable. Extremely sharp. Weight manipulation itself already ignores common logic. It can cut through nearly any material and apparently affects things beyond normal matter.. including reality itself. Space has already been cut once. These are not hidden traits. You literally witnessed them.]

Razeal quietly stared.

Villey continued.

[Also apologies, Host. I can probably estimate future characteristics, functions, abilities, aspects and development paths while the weapon continues awakening... but I will not write assumptions into the description. At this moment those things simply do not exist.]

Then

[Kindly wait until the sword fully awakens and develops consciousness.]

Razeal ignored almost everything.

Only one word remained.

His eyes blinked then narrowed.

”...Wait.”

His expression became strange.

”Consciousness?”

His fingers slightly tightened around Dark Star as he looked down at it.

”This sword is going to awaken its own consciousness?”

Villey sounded almost disappointed.

[Host... do not tell me this surprises you.]

Razeal stayed quiet.

[Something at Pseudo EX rank and you did not expect consciousness? Even some Imperial weapons possess their own awareness. Cosmic weapons developing consciousness is not unusual either. This thing stands beyond those categories. Why would it not have it?]

Razeal remained silent.

Villey kept going.

[Consciousness does not immediately mean personality. It may begin as instinct. Preference. Reaction. Growth. Identity. Eventually becoming something closer to life.]

[Host... that is like spending millions of gold coins buying a mansion and then being surprised that it has doors?]

A pause.

[Like yeah... obviously. GENIUS.]

Razeal stared blankly for a few seconds.

That comparison annoyed him a little.

But annoyingly enough...

he got the point.

A sword.

Thinking.

Growing.

Maybe speaking.

That felt strange.

Then again a sword made from an actual living star already sounded strange.

So maybe consciousness was not where he should draw the line.

Eventually he shrugged.

Whatever.

No useful answer.

Not immediately anyway.

Slowly, he lowered Dark Star.

Then quietly slid it back into its sheath.

Click.

The blade disappeared.

His eyes lowered.

Toward Zane.

The body remained split cleanly from head to pelvis.

Blood had gathered beneath him.

No movement.

No regeneration.

No last words.

Just silence.

Razeal looked quietly for a moment.

Then spoke.

”My condolences.”

His voice wasn’t mocking.

Wasn’t respectful either.

Just... simple.

Like acknowledging a finished thing.

Then he turned towards the great ash wall.

Toward the kingdom his expression slowly changed.

His right fist slowly rose into the air.

And then with his voice carrying across the battlefield..

he shouted

”I AM THE KING!”

All the lords Lord Kael, Lord Kharvek, Lady Veyra, and even Queen Grace stood exactly where they were, completely frozen. Nobody moved.

Nobody spoke.

For several long moments, none of them could even decide whether what they had just witnessed was reality or not. Their eyes remained locked on the battlefield below, on the split body lying motionless in the dirt, and their minds simply refused to accept what they had seen.

Just moments ago, that same man had been a Supreme. Not simply a Supreme, but one of the strongest people in the world the head of one of the Ten Pillar Families? A person whose existence alone had already broken their courage before the battle even started.

They had truly believed their kingdom was finished. Not weakened. Not defeated. Finished. If not for Razeal standing there and stubbornly insisting they would fight and win they would have already accepted their end. Deep inside, every one of them had already given up.

Because survival against a Supreme did not exist in their minds. Especially not someone like Zane. They thought Razeal was being young. Reckless. Overestimating himself. They thought he simply did not understand what a Supreme truly represented. They thought he spoke confidently because he lacked experience and did not understand the difference between confidence and impossibility.

But now they had seen it with their own eyes. He did not just survive. He did not just resist. He did not even struggle. He cut down a Supreme in one sword strike. One strike? No desperate exchange. No exhausting battle. No sacrifice. No hidden final attack. Just one movement... and it ended. Worse.. or perhaps more unbelievable than that he did not even look victorious afterward.

He looked confused rather? As if even he thought it should not have ended that easily.

That somehow made it harder to process. Slowly, the lords looked toward one another. Nobody said anything.

They did not need to. The shock, realization, and uncomfortable understanding were already visible in their eyes. Maybe... Razeal was right from the beginning. Maybe he had not been boasting. Maybe they had simply failed to understand the person standing in front of them. But even then, nobody spoke. Almost naturally, their eyes moved together and stopped on Grace.

Grace continued looking at the battlefield. Her eyes remained on the fallen Supreme. Her expression was complicated. There was sadness there, but not because of defeat or regret. Something quieter. More personal.

She felt their gazes resting on her and slowly turned to meet them. For once, she did not look young. She did not look inexperienced. She did not look afraid. Slowly she lowered her eyes toward the Supreme-tier sword resting in her hands her father’s sword. She quietly stared at it for a moment before lifting her gaze again. Her expression did not change as she softly said,

”He protected it.” Her eyes moved across each of them one after another before she continued in the same calm voice, ”He is the king.”

There was not even a trace of hesitation. She gave away the title that belonged to her with complete clarity. Not emotionally. Not impulsively. She gave away something much larger than authority. History. Inheritance. Family expectations. Bloodline. Ancestors. Everything tied to that throne.

Her face remained strangely calm. No tears. No trembling. And somehow that made her look stronger. In that moment, she looked stronger than she ever had in her entire life.

Lady Veyra quietly watched her for a few seconds. There was sadness in her eyes, but there was respect too. Without speaking, she lowered her head and bowed. Lord Kael looked at Grace, then toward Razeal, before slowly lowering his head as well. Lord Kharvek followed. One after another, they bowed not because they were forced, not because they feared anything , but because they accepted.

Grace quietly looked at them. A small smile appeared on her face. Tight. Sad. Trying to remain together. But slowly it weakened. More emotions appeared than she could describe. Relief. Loss. Pain. Pride. Gratitude. Too many things at once. Her eyes slowly filled with tears, but she forced them back. She refused to cry now. Not here. Not ever. It was a happy moment for kingdom.

Nancy stood nearby and watched everything silently. She said nothing just utterly silent.

Even though outwardly Nancy remained completely silent, her mind had already gone absolutely insane.

At this point she genuinely did not know what she was supposed to believe anymore. She stood there staring toward the battlefield with blank eyes while trying to process everything that had happened since meeting Razeal, but the more she tried to organize her thoughts, the more impossible everything became. It had not even been a full day.

Not even one whole day since she arrived with him. Yet in that tiny amount of time she had seen more impossible things than she thought existed in an entire lifetime.

First she found out he possessed strength equal to a Great Saint? A 16 years old Great Saint? Then she watched him threaten an entire kingdom without hesitation. Then he casually announced he was going to become king of that kingdom as if saying he was going for a walk? At the time she genuinely thought he was joking, being arrogant, or simply speaking nonsense.

Then she watched him suppress the Iron Council multiple Great Saints at once? Then she learned he had ten Great Saint rank servants under him and somehow that was not even the strangest thing anymore?

Then came all the abilities. Shadow manipulation capable of restraining an entire battlefield with a snap of his fingers. Then finding out he was married? And not just married to a woman capable of making battlefields disappear, dragging clouds down from the sky, and destroying armies until nothing remained. Then she learned something even more absurd that because he could not use the world’s magic system... he simply created his own.

Created?

His own.. Magic system?

Even now her mind stopped every time she reached that part.

And it did not stop there.

She learned he possessed all thirteen affinities existing inside that system he created himself. Then she watched him demonstrate it. Giant walls rising hundreds of meters high. Thousands of structures appearing. Weapons. Constructs. Things carrying elemental attributes she could not even identify or whatver?

Then she saw meteors? Actual meteor showers falling and destroying the battlefield until only craters and molten ground remained. At that point she already thought reality itself had become questionable.

Then.. she watched him face that falling landmass?

That giant impossible mountain.. Ten times larger than the city? Something even a Supreme claimed could not be broken.

And he... made it disappear.

With one finger?

No explosion.

No struggle.

Just

gone?

Then after that he killed a Supreme.

With one sword?

One strike?

Split him into two?

No effort.

No pressure.

No visible cost.

And now.. now he had just become king?Declared by the actual ruler herself? Given the throne directly.

Just like that.

Nancy quietly stood there while her thoughts reached that point and stopped.

Her eyes slowly blinked.

Then blinked again.

Then she looked around.

At the wall.

At the battlefield.

At the sky.

At the people.

Everything looked normal.

Which somehow made it worse.

Her face slowly twitched.

She seriously started questioning herself.

Was she going crazy?

No honestly.. what the hell was actually happening?

Was she trapped inside some illusion?

Did that Supreme god use some kind of ultimate mental attack on her? Had she not escaped that nightmare yet?

Maybe she was still standing somewhere unconscious.

Maybe none of this happened.

Maybe she was imagining all of it.

Because honestlyzz that explanation felt more believable.

That made more sense.

A Supreme god casting some impossible illusion sounded easier to accept than everything she had witnessed today.

Her expression slowly became complicated.
