I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space

Chapter 286: Parting Gift... A Star?

Tongue shrugged lazily as she stretched her arms up and yawned. ”It’s a star.”

Razeal froze.

”...a star?” he repeated slowly, blinking twice. As in... an actual star? Like those giant flaming celestial bodies burning in space that could melt entire planets?

Tongue nodded without hesitation. ”A star.”

Razeal’s eyes twitched. ”Like? What do you mean?”

He genuinely needed clarification because there was no way she meant what he thought she meant. It couldn’t be literal, right? It should be metaphorical. Symbolic. Some weird cosmic energy compressed into a bead or whatever.

Tongue pointed behind him casually, waving a finger through the cosmic space like it was just background wallpaper. ”Like real one. Look at that. Just like those ones.” She gestured toward the floating galaxies and stars scattered around the space they stood in. ”I just shrank one into this size.”

She said it so casually.. like shrinking a star wasn’t one of the most absurdly impossible things imaginable. Like someone saying, ”Oh yeah, I just folded a mountain into my pocket.”

Razeal stared at her.

Then stared at the green sphere.

Then back at her.

His mind blanked for a moment.

”...you shrank a star?” he asked slowly, trying to wrap his mind around it. His tone was flat, deadpan, like he needed her to confirm the insanity one more time just to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating.

”Yes,” she said simply, smiling lazily with a slow blink, like she had just given him a cute candy. ”It was a pretty one too. Had a nice color. And I was bored. So I made it small.”

Razeal tried to think of a reaction. Something. Anything.

His brain: error 404.

Because what the hell was he even supposed to feel?

”So you mean,” Razeal finally said after a long, stunned pause, ”I am currently holding a fucking star?”

His voice wasn’t shocked no yelp, no panic, no trembling awe. Just pure confusion and disbelief layered over irritation. Like he wanted to believe her, and he did believe her, but his brain absolutely refused to process the stupidity of the situation. He stared down at the tiny glowing green sphere in his palm again, his crimson eyes narrowing in complete bafflement.

”A real star?” he asked again, slower this time. ”Like.. wait do green stars even exist in the first place? And what about weight? Or heat? Or radiation? If it was a real star... I shouldn’t even be able to hold it, right?”

He looked at her with narrowed eyes, not because he doubted her but because his brain was going through every logical check and failing miserably. He wasn’t even shocked, more like scientifically offended that this was even possible. Like just... how?

Tongue looked at him lazily while inspecting her nails. ”It wasn’t some big thing. I just said, ’Hey star, get to the size of a diamond, have no weight, and be a good boy.’” She shrugged like it was the most normal sentence a person could speak.

”A good boy?” Razeal repeated slowly, staring at the star in his hand like it had personally disrespected him. ”What does that even mean?” The absurdity of it hit him. A star. A literal cosmic object obeying the command be a good boy. He couldn’t help but mutter, ”What the fuck...” under his breath.

”You don’t believe me?” Tongue caught his expression and smirked. ”Leme show you then.”

Before he could even react, she stood up casually.. stretching a little and swiped her hand to the side.

”Let me take you to a good-looking star, shall I?” she said, like she was offering to show him a nice tree or a pretty painting.

But in the very instant she spoke

The entire universe around them shifted.

Not in a slow transition, not like teleportation with fading light

It was like someone grabbed space itself and rotated it like a page in a book.

Razeal’s eyes narrowed sharply.

One second he was looking at one set of stars, galaxies, black space

The next second

everything rearranged.

He was standing in an entirely different part of the cosmos.

And floating in the distance

so far away yet so impossibly present was a star.

A massive, enormous, glowing blue star burning so violently bright that even from however-many-lightyears distance they were at, its presence felt heavy. The intensity didn’t burn him, but his instincts screamed

danger.

The kind of danger beyond scales, beyond power levels, beyond anything he could fight or outrun.. Atleast as of now

Like if that thing decided to sneeze, entire planets would vaporize without even leaving dust behind.

It was beautiful in a terrifying way. Blazing blue, rippling with storms of plasma, roaring silently in the vacuum of space. A star that didn’t shine it consumed darkness around it.

Razeal stood frozen for a moment, eyes locked on the massive celestial object. His danger sense was going wild his entire being telling him this thing could erase him from existence without a trace.

Tongue, meanwhile, walked past him like she was walking through a quiet park, brushing her long dark hair behind her ear with zero concern. ”Alright, let’s be over with it fast,” she said, sounding mildly bored.

Then, with no dramatic buildup, she opened her mouth and said:

”Get smaller, lil star. To the size of a diamond.”

The moment her words left her lips

Reality bent.

Not cracked, not shook

Just.. bent, like the laws of physics were nothing but suggestions.

The star which moments ago looked large enough to swallow planets ..collapsed.

Not exploded, imploded or dimmed.

It simply... just.. disappeared.

Like the universe deleted it because she said so.

One moment a cosmic giant was there

And

The next moment.. a clean, empty space remained where it used to be, like it never existed.

Razeal’s eyes widened not dramatically, but in a sharp, instinctive way. His expression tensed as if his brain skipped a beat. Shock wasn’t the right word. It was more like witnessing something so impossible that even trying to react to it felt pointless.

Tongue ignored his stunned silence entirely and lifted her hand, fingers forming a small beckoning gesture. Her movements were fluid, casual, almost lazy like none of this was impressive even to her.

”And be a good boy... now come to me,” she said, in the same tone one would use to call a cat.

The universe trembled faintly.

Just enough for Razeal to feel something shift.

Like a subtle ripple in existence.

And then

A small pearl-like orb appeared in Tongue’s palm.

Bright blue.

Glowing softly.

A miniature echo of the star that once burned in the distance.

A cosmic body compressed into something that could fit on a necklace.

She held it casually, letting it shine against her pale fingers, the galaxy reflecting in her dark cosmic eyes.

Razeal stared at the tiny glowing orb, then back at the empty space where a star used to be.

His mind went blank again.

Then restarted.

Then blanked again.

”...you just...” he muttered, not even finishing his sentence. His voice faded as his brain tried to catch up with the insanity he just witnessed.

Tongue finally turned to him, holding the tiny star between two fingers like a piece of candy she didn’t know what to do with.

Her cosmic eyes glowed faintly as she smirked.

”See? Now you believe me?” she asked.

Razeal didn’t answer immediately.

He just slowly looked down at the green star in his own palm.

Then at the blue one in hers.

Then back at the empty void where the original star once burned.

Then he muttered:

”...fucking hell...”

His voice was quiet, not in fear, but in pure disbelief.

Tongue twirled the tiny star in her hand. ”Stars are obedient if you talk nicely to them,” she said casually.

”What the hell does that even mean...” Razeal whispered..

Still he turned his attention to her star.

Razeal saw the tiny blue star sitting in Tongue’s palm And he couldn’t help but moved closer to her until he was standing right in front of her hand.

Even though his face remained the same cold, emotionless mask he always wore, inside his head it felt like a thousand fireworks going off all at once. Shock wasn’t enough of a word. Bewilderment wasn’t enough. His brain was literally short-circuiting.

He had read about stars. He had seen pictures in books, seen them from far away through telescopes, watched videos in his past life.

But watching a cosmic object something capable of swallowing planets get shrunk down into a cute, glowing pebble right in front of his eyes?

His mind was losing it.

Completely losing it.

What the actual hell...?

It was ridiculous. It was impossible. It was so stupidly overpowered that he couldn’t even properly react.

Turning a star into something smaller than a diamond??

And he wasn’t feeling heat?

Radiation?

Gravity?

Nothing?

If this thing were real.. which it IS I’d have been vaporized within seconds. Even now. Even as I am.

His eyes flickered. The crimson glow in them sharpened for a moment as he stared at the impossibly tiny star. His expression remained composed, but the intensity in his eyes chilled, narrowed.

Her power

Her power was utterly, completely ridiculous.

Tongue watched him with an amused tilt of her head. Then, like she was offering candy to a kid, she casually asked:

”Well, do you want one more?”

Razeal froze.

He wasn’t expecting that question.

His mind went blank for a second like the words didn’t even register.

One more?

ONE more??

...Is she handing out stars like candy bags??

He genuinely thought that, completely speechless.

Still

who in the world would refuse something like that?

It was a fucking star.

A star. A celestial body that could destroy entire civilizations if it felt like sneezing. The amount of power held inside something like that was beyond comprehension.

Maybe it wasn’t even just a pretty gem. Maybe it had uses he hadn’t discovered yet. Maybe he could unlock some Powers by it. Maybe he could weaponize it.

The possibilities were endless.

He was about to accept it almost said ”yes” automatically but then a thought struck him.

A better idea.

A practical one.

”Ohhh... instead of this,” he said slowly, thinking carefully, ”could you maybe give me a sword? Like... a sword that doesn’t break.”

Tongue blinked.

Razeal continued:

”Because no weapon can take the strength I hit with. Or the method I use. Everything turns to cosmic dust before I even finish swinging. Do you think maybe you’ll have a sword? Or you can create one?”

His tone was calm, but inside, he was genuinely hoping. If she could shrink a star, then surely she could make a sword that wouldn’t disintegrate every time he flowed too hard.

Tongue listened. She hummed thoughtfully, eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at him for a few long seconds.

Then she shrugged, like this was the easiest request in the universe.

”Of course I have a sword that doesn’t break at all,” she said. ”Can’t you see? It’s in my hands. It’s made of a star itself. Very beautiful and nice-looking sword. Look.”

Right in front of Razeal’s eyes, the small, diamond-sized star in her hand expanded smoothly, silently then began twisting and shifting shape. Reality folded around it. The light bent. The star stretched like molten steel being forged.

In a matter of seconds, it reshaped into a sword.

Not just any sword.

A damn masterpiece.

It had a long blade glowing with dark, starry blueike swirling galaxies were trapped inside it. A wooden handle, smooth and ancient-looking, contrasted the celestial blade perfectly. Patterns of starlight rippled across the metal, the weapon humming with cosmic power.

Razeal’s eyes twinkled ever so slightly as he stared at it.

The beauty of it hit him like a punch.

He didn’t blink for several seconds.

The sword looked unreal refined, ancient, mystical, powerful everything a perfect weapon should be.

He didn’t know how long he stared, but for a moment, he was honestly mesmerized.

Tongue noticed and smirked. ”And ohh, take it as a gift,” she said lightly. ”I’ll put nine locks on it too. With each lock you can shift the weight of this sword. It’ll remain the same size but with different weight settings.”

She snapped her fingers, and glowing inscriptions began appearing along the blade beautiful, intricate symbols lighting up one after another.

”First lock lets you choose anywhere from the weight of a feather to a million kilos. Second lock? Billion. Third? Trillion.

And so on.

Until the ninth lock ..its full weight.”

She paused dramatically.

”The full weight of a star. Ten to the power of thirty-two. A duotrigintillion kilos or whatever.”

She glanced at him, smirking almost mockingly.

”Well, I don’t think you’ll be able to handle that. Now or maybe... never.”

Razeal just stared at the sword.

Slow breath.

Slow blink.

”...interesting,” he muttered. That word wasn’t enough not even close.

Then he frowned slightly.

”Yeah... well... that seems very interesting. But can you maybe... make it black? I mean, blue is fine, but... black is sexy.”

He said it casually, completely serious, looking from the sword up to her.

Tongue’s eyebrows shot up sharply.

The expression she gave him said everything:

Are you kidding me?..Do I look like a wish-granting fairy?

Razeal saw that look.

He pretended not to notice.

Then he glanced at the sword again... then at her... then said softly:

”...please?”

Tongue stared at him for a long, silent moment.

Then her lips twitched.

”Youuu better remember what a good, kind-hearted person you were in my presence...” she muttered, rolling her eyes. Then she smiled abruptly bright and wicked and winked.

”Yeah, it’s black now.”

The sword in her hand instantly shifted darkening, reshaping, glowing with a seductive, deep cosmic black. The inscriptions carved into it turned silver, shining beautifully against the black blade.

It looked ancient, powerful, sinful like a weapon forged for a king of darkness.

Razeal stared at it.

And for a moment...

he felt something he almost never felt.

A genuine spark of childish joy.

The sword was perfect.

Absolutely perfect.

”Now that’s what I’m talking about...” Razeal breathed out, the words slipping from him in a low, stunned tone.

The sword.. gleamed in her hand like a piece of living night. Black, ancient, fierce, dripping with starlight from the inscriptions.

He couldn’t stop the smile that crept across his lips.

His crimson eyes shone brightly, reflecting the blade’s cosmic black glow.

”This is just perfect... like perfect,” he muttered, almost in awe, his voice soft but thrilled.

For a moment he forgot to breathe.

Forgot the universe existed.

He was simply lost in the weapon’s beauty, its presence, the way it felt like it belonged to him since the beginning of time.

”But hey.. one more can you maybe.. ”

He started, his voice carrying a hint of greedy excitement.

Tongue’s face immediately shifted.

A smile disappeared.

Her brows lowered.

The whole aura around her dimmed with irritation.

”One more word,” she said sharply, ”and I won’t give you anything.”

Razeal froze mid-sentence.

His eyes twitching a little.

He cleared his throat fast.

”Hey, hey.. don’t don’t ” He straightened himself instantly, fixing his expression into something respectful. ”It’s perfect. It’s just perfect. You are... lovely. And very kind-hearted. A very beautiful lady. I mean ..really. I’m very grateful. Beautiful lady.”

Tongue stared at him... unimpressed.

But the corners of her lips twitched.

”Yeah, you better be,” she muttered.

Then she simply tossed the sword toward him carelessly, like throwing a twig.

Razeal caught it with one hand.

The moment his fingers closed around the handle, the weight registered as nothing feather-like, almost invisible. But then something strange happened: without any instruction, without any explanation, Razeal simply knew how to change its weight.

It wasn’t a skill or a technique more like just... instinct.

The moment he thought about it, the sword’s weight shifted, growing heavier until it reached the exact perfect weight he loved. Solid. Satisfying and very comfortable.

He let out a breath.

”...This is fucking perfect,” he murmured, admiring every detail, turning the blade slightly to watch the starlit inscriptions shimmer.

Tongue watched him, hands behind her back, amusement painting her expression.

”Hmmm. Yeah. Happy you liked it.” She yawned lightly, then tilted her head. ”Ohhh, and did you figure out what your purpose was again?”

Her voice was casual, but her eyes were sharp, studying him with interest.

”Oh? Yeah...about that” Razeal answered without even looking up from the sword, still staring down at its sleek black surface. ”I’ve already got something in mind.”

Tongue blinked. ”Ohhh? What is it? I’m curious.”

Razeal lifted his gaze slowly.

A smirk stretched across his lips slow, dark, confident. His eyes reflected the sword’s black glow, faint streaks of cosmic light dancing in those crimson irises.

”I’m going to go crazy,” he said softly.

Tongue paused. ”...And what is that supposed to mean?” She tilted her head, brows raised, genuinely confused and curious.

Razeal lifted the sword, resting it on his shoulder with an easy motion. The blade’s weight was perfect heavy, but controlled. He looked straight at her, a grin stretching wider, revealing sharp hints of madness and thrill behind his eyes.

”It means...” he leaned slightly forward, letting the sword tilt and catch the green and blue cosmic glow around them, ”...I am going to fuck around with everyone.”

His voice dropped into a dangerous, almost amused tone. His crimson eyes lit up sharp, alive, filled with something wild.

Then blinked again. Her lips slowly curled into an impressed smile.

There was a spark in her expression curiosity, mischief, and something like excitement. She looked him up and down, evaluating, studying this sudden shift in him.

”Well,” she said slowly, tapping her chin, ”That actually sounds... fun.”

Razeal gave a small chuckle, rolling the sword gently along his shoulder before gripping the handle again.

”Exactly,” he said, voice low but thrilled, ”Fun.”

Because now he wasn’t bound by purpose.

Not by revenge.

Not by manipulation.

Not by someone else’s expectations.

Not by guilt or by the system or even by what the world wanted him to be.

Now he was simply... himself.

A walking problem... A free anomaly. A force of chaos wrapped in a calm face. Someone who didn’t care to follow labels villain, hero, monster, savior.

None of it mattered.

He would just do whatever he wanted.

Whenever he wanted.

To whoever he wanted.

Tongue crossed her arms and smirked knowingly.

”Well then,” she said, her tone almost playful,

”You better not die before you start.”

Razeal tilted the sword.

His smirk widened.

”Don’t worry,” he murmured, ”that’s everyone else’s problem.. Not mine.”
