“This headache is driving me crazy,” Yu Lili complained. She had stopped crying, and her mood was considerably calmer than was a few minutes ago. She sat in a chair with her head in her arms and looked ahead in dismay.

Shen Zhilie looked at Yu Lili sympathetically and was about to say something when he saw the pain her eyes. Yu Lili bowed her head to her arms and said, “This headache is driving me crazy.”

“Try not to think about the headache. Take a nap. Here, close your eyes and have a good nap.” Shen Zhilie leaned down and whispered, “Sleep now.”

Yu Lili felt her eyelids getting heavier. She quickly closed her eyes and was asleep. Shen Zhilie bent down, picked her up, and then walked out of the room.

Luo Ran, Luo Zhan, and Ou Ming were waiting outside. When Ou Ming saw Shen Zhili carrying an unconscious Yu Lili, he immediately became angry. He tried to calm his face and towards them. He reached out and took Yu Lili in his arms.

Shen Zhilie looked at him and asked in a somewhat complicated way, “Have you forgotten that you have a marriage contract with my sister.”

Ou Ming held Yu Lili close, said with an unfriendly look, “You don’t need to worry yourself about that.”

“Well, Miss Yu is my patient now. How can I not worry about her?” Shen Zhilie retorted. He glanced at Yu Lili and addressed the other man, “Luo Ran, do you have a room where Miss Yu can take a break? I need to have a few words with my future brother-in-law about my patient’s condition.”

“No need for that,” Ou Ming said with a sullen face. “If you have something to say, then say it. I will take her home.”

Shen Zhilie tried to stay calm and said, “Of course.”

The two men stared at each other with a hateful expression, each disliking the other one more. It was as if there was a cloud of smoke between them. At the inexplicable smell of gunpowder, the two brothers Luo Zhan and Luo Ran were embarrassed and said nothing.

Ou Ming walked out with, still carrying Yu Lili and Shen Zhilie followed them. When they returned to the apartment, Ou Ming took Yu Lili took the bedroom and laid her gently on the bed.

While he was alone in the kitchen, Shen Zhilie took a bottle of Coke unceremoniously from the refrigerator. When Shen Zhilie saw Ou Ming coming out of the bedroom, he raised the bottle in his hand and said, “Do you mind if I take this?”

Ou Ming shot a furtive glance at him and sat on the couch. “What do you want to talk to me about?”

“Yu Lili has forgotten a piece of her memory,” said Shen Zhilie unforgivingly.

Ou Ming was surprised. He looked at Shen Zhilie inquisitively and asked, “How do you know?”

Shen Zhilie took a sip of his cola and looked at Ou Ming with contempt in his eyes. He began to explain, “I don’t know what the memory is, but I believe you do.”

Ou Ming frowned at the accusation. He thought of the one night at the bar. He wasn’t sure if this was the so-called “lost memory,” but he felt that it was very likely to be a memory from around the same time.

After all, with Yu Lili’s personality, he thought that if she was going to be with him again, it was going to take some effort, but…

Ou Ming had always had concerns in his heart, but he had always pushed them away. It seemed that the possibility that the memories from this time were significant. If this was the case, Ou Ming hoped that she would never remember them. He was afraid of what might happen if she did.

What if she remembers this memory and doesn’t want to be with me anymore. What should I do if that happens?

Shen Zhilie noticed that Ou Ming wasn’t speaking. He believed that his suspicion was correct – Ou Ming knows.

He smiled to himself and continued, “I don’t care if you say it or not, she is not my girl. However, I can’t wait for you to break up with her before you marry my sister. My sister really likes you.”

Ou Ming lit a cigarette. He crossed his legs and took several drags before he said, “Are you doing this just because you are interested in my relationship with your sister?”

Shen Zhilie was getting a little impatient with Ou Ming.
