The Return Of The Exiled Villain

Unfortunately, the rest of the days on the island passed far too quickly.

But well... under the guise of being Lyra’s ”boyfriend,” Gray had to admit — he actually enjoyed it more than he expected.

They spent nearly every moment together, wandering along the beach, eating breakfast side by side, and even studying together when they pretended to be serious.

They were practically glued to each other... just like a new couple would.

And even now... they still were.

”Gray... I reaaallly don’t want to have the midterms... mhm~” Lyra muttered lazily, her head resting against his shoulder.

Right now, she was sitting on his lap, her soft brown hair brushing against his chin as she breathed slowly, calm and relaxed, completely comfortable in his arms.

Gray leaned back against the chair, holding a thick book in one hand while the other absentmindedly rubbed small circles on her back

He sighed, his eyes still scanning the page.

”...Me neither,” he said at last.

Then, without warning, he leaned down and brushed his lips against the side of her neck.

”Ah— ehehe! That tickles!~” Lyra squeaked, twisting slightly in his lap.

Her laughter was soft and contagious, and the sight of her smiling like that, flushed cheeks, messy hair, made his chest feel strangely warm.

’...I hate this.’

She lifted her head, leaning back just enough to look at him properly. Her arms snaked around his neck, her eyes glimmering with that same teasing sparkle.

”You’re not even pretending to study anymore, are you?”

Gray smirked faintly.

He tossed the book aside, letting it land with a dull thud on the ground.

”Pfft...” Lyra couldn’t help but giggle at how quickly he’d given up.

She pressed her cheek against his chest again, curling up against him like a cat.

”Tsk...”

Gray clicked his tongue softly, extending a finger. A thin silver thread shot out, wrapping around the book and snapping it back into his hand.

”If you keep giving me expectations,” he said lightly, flipping the page again, ”I might actually pounce on you.”

Lyra blinked up at him, her face growing warm.

”O-oh... maybe that’s not such a bad—”

”Finish that sentence and I’ll test that theory,” he cut in flatly, though his lips curved ever so slightly.

Lyra puffed her cheeks in fake protest, muttering something under her breath as she shifted to sit a little straighter on his lap.

”You’re mean, you know that?”

”You say that like it’s new information.”

”Mm... maybe I like that side of you.”

”You like dangerous things, don’t you?” Gray raised an eyebrow, closing the book completely now.

Lyra smiled playfully at his words.

”Only when they look good shirtless.”

”...I’ll take that as a compliment.”

”It was one,” she hummed softly, tracing a finger along the collar of his shirt before resting her forehead against his chest again.

”...”

Next to them... the usually chatty Ronan had his mouth closed.

He was dying from jealousy.

Ah, right...

They were currently in the library of the academy.

And everyone around them — from the back tables to the study aisles — was throwing daggers of killing intent at the couple.

Gray, however, casually pushed the invisible glares aside, as if swatting flies, keeping Lyra nestled peacefully against him.

[What a good boyfriend you are... that makes me jealous~]

Jasmine teased him, but as Gray ignored the gazes, he also ignored her mosquito voice.

He flipped another page of his book, pretending the world didn’t exist.

”Agh... I hate these damn midterms.” Ronan’s groan finally broke the silence.

Gray closed the book halfway and gave him a flat stare.

”Can you believe this crap?!” Ronan continued, gesturing dramatically with his pen.

”Four exams in one day! Four! And the next day, we’ve got a combat evaluation against the second years! Who the hell planned this—”

”Plus three demerit points for Student Ronan.”

A calm female voice cut through his rant like a knife. The three turned their heads toward the source, and Ronan’s face instantly darkened.

”Oh, come on, Lira. Just because you’re in the student council doesn’t mean you can act—”

”Plus one more.”

That was all it took for Ronan’s pride to crumble.

He slowly lowered his head... and slammed his face into the table with a thud.

Gray only shook his head. After all, Ronan should’ve known better than to provoke Lira.

”Plus two demerit points for both Gray and Lyra for showing public affection,” she suddenly added as she sat down on the left chair next to Gray.

”Hah!” Ronan perked up instantly, seeing his chance for revenge.

”How’s that feel, huh—”

A single, cold glance from Lira shut him up mid-sentence. His lips snapped shut like a mousetrap.

Meanwhile, Lyra only lifted her head, her smile growing mischievous.

”Oh?~ Public affection, was it?”

She looked at Gray mischievously before planting a soft kiss on his cheek.

”Mhm!~”

And then his nose...

”Muah!♡”

Forehead.

”...Snip...♡”

The side of his neck.

Crack...

The pen Lira was holding broke into two parts as Lyra finally stopped. She wasn’t dumb and knew that Lira had a particular interest in Gray.

And this was her simply showing that Gray was hers.

”...Tsk,” Lira clicked her tongue.

”Enough,” Gray muttered, tapping Lyra’s back gently.

She looked up at him with a small pout, but before she could say anything, he slipped his hands under her arms and effortlessly lifted her off his lap, placing her down on the chair beside him.

”I’ll be back in a moment,” he said softly, brushing a quick kiss against her forehead before stepping away with a lazy wave of his hand.

[...By the way, isn’t dating Lyra going to ruin your chances of seducing more women? What about the resources you’ve ought to get from those noble ladies?]

Gray silently shook his head.

’Honestly... I’ve already used all the resources granted by the academy, and they didn’t help me a single bit.’

[How so?]

’I’m not sure, but...’ He opened the bathroom door before closing it shut.

’It felt like... my body was simply rejecting them... or maybe it was Gray, I need to talk with him somehow, he probably knows what’s happening.’

Click...

The bathroom door opened, and then... it was locked.

[Well... one more minor stage, and you can finally fuse with him.]

’Yeah...’

Gray took out his dick and started peeing...

He looked towards the wall and sighed as he thought about the glares he had gotten from Selina once the news that he was dating Lyra spread.

Even Cassandra seemed to throw him a few weird gazes... but whatever.

Rustle...

”Ugh!”

He suddenly felt a cold hand grasp his cock, causing him to groan.

”Gray...”

A familiar voice whispered into his ears as her other hand slithered around her back before settling on the base of his cock.

He instantly recognized that voice.

”Selene...? What are you doing?” Gray questioned her as he looked down and saw her hands shaking his cock, causing the small remnants of pee to spread across the urinal.

Glow...

At the same time, a faint pink light coated his penis as it suddenly hardened to the maximum, and if that wasn’t enough...

”Ugh...”

A strange heat pierced Gray’s body in a single instant.

”Y-you... w-what did you do?!” He tried to snap out of her grip, but suddenly found out that his limbs felt weak as shit.

[She’s using Charm Magic. And from what it looks like... you’re definitely fucked. This isn’t a magic you can’t defend yourself against now.]

Swish...

”My dear Gray...” she blew onto his ear, as both of her hands started to suddenly stroke his cock off, her breasts pressing against his back.

”F-fuck...!”

Gray cursed as he tried to extend strings to decapitate Selene in one go, but unfortunately for him, he also couldn’t use mana!

”How could you do this to me?” she purred into his ear.

Her hand movements started to change as her left hand suddenly cupped his balls softly, and she planted a kiss on the back of his ear.

”Haa~♡”

Her lips curled up slighly as she noticed Gray’s body quiver unconditionally.

[Told ya. In the end, she’s still a mermaid.]

Jasmine teased him with a small, amused smile, causing Gray to directly remember what she had told him about mermaids back then.

[”If you truly take her virginity, she might become something close to a stalker for you.”]

’Fucking hell!’ He gritted his teeth.

But honestly, he didn’t actually blame himself... during that time, Gray didn’t trust Jasmine too much, so he ignored some of her warnings, even if he kept them in mind.

”Why did you get a girlfriend, Gray?” Selene whispered sweetly, her grip getting increasingly dangerous by the second.

”Did you forget about me? Did you forget what we shared?”

Gray stayed silent, trying to ignore her as he focused on fighting the strange weakness in his body.

Her sweet tone vanished, replaced by a sharp and desperate one.

Fwap, fwap, fwap!

Instead of stopping her movements, she started moving her hand even faster.

”You can’t even answer me?” she yelled, her voice shaking with anger and getting louder.

”After everything we did? I thought we had something special! I gave myself to you! And you just chose her? Lyra? Do you love her? Do you kiss her? Do you touch her? Do you think about her when you’re with me? Why her and not me? What does she have that I don’t? Tell me!”

She squeezed his cock firmly, making him gasp.

”Why won’t you look at me? Why are you ignoring me? Am I nothing to you? Was I just a game?”

Her grip tightened, a clear demand for a response.

”Answer me, Gray! ANSWER ME!”

’Fuuuuckkk! At this point, she’ll fucking rip my dick off!’ Gray’s eyes widened in pain as he started thinking of a plan to avoid her.

And then...

One came to mind as he remembered the nature of a mermaid.
