Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 1769: Talk With Liu Shiyuan

Liu Shiyuan looked at her father with a puzzled look. ”What’s the difference between a man and a woman, Father? If you can have dozens of wives, then why can’t I have three husbands?”

’Sigh! My daughter lacks modern-world common sense!’ Ling Yun felt a headache to explain because the cultivation world is different from the modern world, like Earth.

In the cultivation world, strength will determine everything, and people will keep their mouths shut as long as we are stronger than them. Although most people greatly value honor and dignity, many of them aren’t concerned about the opinions of others, preferring a free and unfettered life, just like Ling Yun.

As the sole heir of the primordial chaos dragon, Ling Yun never cared about other people’s opinions regarding his personal relationships. He lived his life according to his own choices, and no one dared comment on his choices, at least not in front of him.

However, life on Earth is different from that in the cultivation world, and the norms that apply there are also completely different. Polygamous and polyandrous relationships are simply wrong, especially in some countries.

Although relationships like polygamy are taboo, many people consider playboys to be normal as long as they don’t go overboard, and they will stop when they reach a certain age and get married. However, many of them never stop after getting married, and some of them keep other women behind their marriages.

Earthlings’ opinions regarding those playgirls are different from those of playboys, and most of them are prejudiced against them. Many of them consider those playgirls to be cheap women or even prostitutes even though not all of them are involved in too deep a relationship, let alone a sexual relationship.

Many women on earth have relationships with many men only for material needs, but many others have such relationships for sexual needs. Some of them are involved in polyandrous relationships, and some others are willing to sell their bodies to fulfill their needs.

Even when prostitution is prohibited in some countries, it does not prevent prostitutes from working, and they use various methods to sell themselves.

Although not all prostitutes are greedy women, and many of them are forced to work in prostitution due to the pressures of life, Earthlings always consider women like them to be inferior.

In the past, Ling Yun himself worked as a male prostitute because of his mother’s health, so he didn’t dare to look down on those female prostitutes.

Ling Yun sighed and spoke to his daughter again. ”Shiyuan, I don’t look down on women who have multiple husbands because I’m no better than them, and I have worked as a male prostitute in the past.”

Liu Shiyuan was shocked by Ling Yun’s confession that she once worked as a male prostitute, and her mother never told her about it. ”Did you really work as a male prostitute in the past, Father?”

”Yes,” Ling Yun nodded at her. ”In fact, your mother was one of my customers in the past.”

”Huh?” Lin Shiyuan’s eyes blinked repeatedly. ”Is that true? Did my mother use your services as a male prostitute in the past?”

”Even though your mother used my services as a male prostitute in the past, you shouldn’t think of her as a cheap woman.” Ling Yun recounted the story of his relationship with Liu Qiyue to his daughter. ”Your mother is a faithful woman, and she has never had a relationship with any man apart from her former husband and me. She chose to use my services because her former husband always neglected her, and his family abused her too much.”

”Then?”

”Our relationship lasted quite a long time, and she started to fall in love with me. However, we couldn’t be together because I was a weak ordinary man, and her former husband was a strong cultivator who was supported by the Mo Clan.”

”The Mo Clan?”

”The Mo Clan is a heretic clan.” Ling Yun told his daughter about the Mo Clan and some matters related to them. ”When your mother came to me, she was in a terrible condition, and her face was ruined because of the actions of her former husband’s senior. After I healed her face, I killed her former husband, and we have been husband and wife since then.”

”Father—”

”Shiyuan, you might think I’m a hypocrite, but I don’t want any of my daughters to have such a relationship, and I want all of my daughters to have a normal relationship.”

”Why?”

”In my home realm, both polygamous and polyandrous relationships are wrong, and some countries prohibit such relationships.”

”You mean Earth?”

”Yes,” Ling Yun created a few qi screens that displayed Earth and the life within it.

Liu Shiyuan’s eyes lit up. ”That planet is much different compared to our current planet, Father.”

”You’re right.” Ling Yun felt a sense of longing when he saw those qi screens. ”I was born and raised on Earth; the laws and norms there are entirely different from those in the cultivation world. You’re still young, and your impulses are still strong. Your feelings for your three brothers arose because of our mistakes, but I’m sure those feelings will disappear once you are truly mature. I have no problem if you want to marry one of your brothers, but I will never accept it if you want to marry three among them.”

Liu Shiyuan lowered her face again. ”Father, I—”

”I will never compromise on this matter, Shiyuan.” Ling Yun’s tone was firm and irrefutable. ”For now, you should think carefully about who among Zhao Zhanfeng, Tang Wuxian, and Ying Jianshen stirs your feelings the most. When you understand that, you will get the answer to your feelings.”

For some time, Liu Shiyuan thought about Ling Yun’s words and her relationship with her three brothers seriously. ”Although I am comfortable with my three brothers, Brother Zhanfeng’s presence gives me a different feeling, Father.”

”What do you feel towards Zhao Zhanfeng?”

Liu Shiyuan raised her head and looked at Ling Yun. ”Brother Wuxian and Brother Jianshen have always treated me well, and they’ve always loved me. However, Brother Zhanfeng is different from them, and his presence by my side gives me a sense of security and reassurance. In fact, I sleep with him more often than with my two other brothers, and I always sleep soundly whenever I’m with him.”

”So, you like Zhao Zhanfeng more than Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen, right?”

”Yes,” Liu Shiyuan nodded to him. ”Even though I’ve always been comfortable with Brother Wuxian and Brother Jianshen, I’m much more comfortable with Brother Zhao Zhanfeng, and everything about him always stirs my feelings.”

Ling Yun inwardly let out a sigh of relief. Based on his daughter’s answer and expression, he could tell that her feelings were more inclined towards Zhao Zhanfeng than towards Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen. ”In that case, you should spend more time with him, and I will talk to your two other brothers about this matter.”

”Won’t... won’t that create problems between the three of them, Father?” Liu Shiyuan asked worriedly. ”If I suddenly get closer to Brother Zhanfeng, I’m afraid that Brother Wuxian and Brother Jianshen will hate him.”

Ling Yun shook his head. ”Let me handle Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen for you. If they dare to stir up trouble in this family, I will kick their butts hard, and I will also punish them if necessary.”

”Ugh! Father, please don’t punish Brother Wuxian and Brother Jianshen,” Liu Shiyuan pleaded.

”Alright, you don’t need to worry about them, and you should focus on your relationship with Zhao Zhanfeng. If you two truly love each other, I will marry you both.” Liu Shiyuan’s heart skipped a beat when Ling Yun said that. ”Do you want to marry him?”

Liu Shiyuan shyly nodded. ”I... I want to marry Brother Zhanfeng, Father. However, I don’t want to marry him anytime soon, and I—”

”It’s settled then.” Ling Yun rose to his feet and patted his daughter’s head. ”Remember, you should spend more time with Zhao Zhanfeng from now on, and you don’t need to worry about your two other brothers.”

”Yes, Father.” Liu Shiyuan watched her father walk away. ”Brother Wuxian and Brother Jianshen, please forgive me, and I hope you two will never change towards me.”

After that, Liu Shiyuan immediately ran away, and she looked for Zhao Zhanfeng in his room.

Meanwhile, Ling Yun went to Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen’s room, and he took his two sons with him into the forest.

”Ugh? Why did you bring us here, Father?” Tang Wuxian asked.

Ying Jianshen complained. ”Are you going to beat us up again? We sparred for so long earlier, and our bodies are sore all over.”

”What nonsense are you two talking about?” Ling Yun’s face darkened. ”I brought you two here not to beat you up but to talk to you.”

Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen exchanged surprised glances. ”What do you want to talk to us about, Father?”

”Tell me about your feelings for Liu Shiyuan, and I want to hear your honest answer.”

”Huh?” Tang Wuxian blinked repeatedly. ”What do you mean by that, Father? Sister Shiyuan is my sister, and I have always treated her as my sister.”

Ying Jianshen scratched his head. ”Do you think that we have that kind of feeling for Sister Shiyuan, Father?

”Don’t you two have those kinds of feelings for her?”

”Of course not!” Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen answered in high voices at the same time.

”Huh?” The reactions of his two sons baffled Ling Yun. ”Do you two really not have those kinds of feelings for her?”

Tang Wuxian and Ying Jianshen raised their right hands. ”Father, we don’t have that kind of feeling for Sister Shiyuan.”
