Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 1631 1631: The Trial Tower

”Are people from outside the sect allowed to participate in the competition?” Meng Keʼer asked.

Xin Xinghe looked at her. ”Are you thinking of asking your brothers and sisters to participate in the competition, Keʼer?”

”Yes,” Meng Keʼer nodded and explained the reason behind her desire to him. ”If outsiders are allowed to participate in the competition, I will contact them to come to this domain at that time.”

Xin Xinghe nodded in understanding. ”Actually, the competition has several groups, and outsiders are allowed to participate in those groups. However, they cannot join the fight for that secret place because it will only be fought over by all the sects in this domain, and they will receive another reward for their victory.”

”Hehe,” Yun Jingqiu giggled. ”I donʼt think itʼs a problem, Senior Brother Xinghe. My brothers and sisters need opponents at their level to develop themselves, and I think the competition will suit them.”

”If so, you should inform them about the competition, and they should come to this sect a week before it starts so we can help them with the registration process.”

”Iʼll contact them now, Senior Brother.” Since Yun Qingfeng and Yun Longhun were returning to their residence, Yun Shengxia informed them about the competition. She also asked them to inform their brothers and sisters about it. ”Two of them immediately agreed to join the competition, and they will inform the others about it.”

”How high is their strength, Shengxia?” Yin Jingmo asked.

”Our three brothers should be as strong as, or even stronger than, us, but most of them are weaker than us because they are still so young. Even so, they train every day, so they should be ready to face the opponents in the competition.”

”Did the three of them join other sects in other domains?”

”Brother Qingfeng and Brother Longhun didnʼt join any sects, and they practiced in other domains accompanied by their wives. My twin brother, Yun Shengyun, joined the Divine Union Sect in the Heavenly Starveil Domain.”

”Does that mean your twin brother is a dual cultivator?”

Yun Shengxia nodded. ”My twin brother is a dual cultivator, and he has four wives now.”

”Haha,” A female disciple laughed before speaking. ”Your brother is better than all the men here, Shengxia. Youʼve lived here long enough, so you should already know that they donʼt have girlfriends, let alone wives.”

”Tch!” Xin Xinghe gnashed his teeth. ”You should look at yourself in the mirror, Wen Xianyi! Youʼve never had a boyfriend either, so you donʼt have to insult us!”

”I-”

”Hey, Xianyi! Jing Ruxian is a woman, so she doesnʼt count!” A male disciple interrupted her.

Wen Xianyi shrugged her shoulders. ”Ruxian and I have never liked men, and we love each other, so she still counts.”

”Brother Xinghe and Brother Qingshe, why donʼt you consider those two women? Theyʼre crazy about you both, so I think you should accept them.”

Xin Xinghe and Yu Qingshe knew about the two women Jing Ruxian was referring to, and the hairs on the back of their necks stood up as they remembered them. ”Tch! You shouldnʼt have to mention them in front of us, Ruxian!”

”What about the four of them? Are any of you interested in them?” Wen Xianyi asked as she pointed to Xuanyuan Yue and the others.

Kong Bailing looked at the four of them. ”Do you guys have any men you like?”

”Yes,” Yun Shengxia nodded in unison. ”We do have men we like, Senior Sister Bailing.”

”Oh?” Kong Bailing and the others looked at them in surprise. ”Who are they?”

”Secret!” The four women laughed and ran away from their seniors straight away.

Kong Bailing shook her head at the girlsʼ behavior. ”Since itʼs already late, we should rest now, and weʼll take them to another domain to prepare them for the competition.”

They agreed with Kong Bailing and immediately returned to their private quarters. She herself also returned to her private quarters, which were shared with Xuanyuan Yue and the others.

”Senior Sister Bailing, can I sleep with you tonight?” Kong Bailing smiled and led Xuanyuan Yue to her room, where they lay down together on the bed. ”Do you like a man?”

Kong Bailing looked at her. ”Why are you suddenly asking about that, Yue?”

”I was just asking.” Xuanyuan Yue faced Kong Bailing. ”My mother never fell in love with men in the past, and she hated them because of her past experiences. However, her fate changed when she met my father on Earth, and she kept thinking about him after he took the others away to another realm.”

”Why didnʼt your mother go with your father at that time?”

”As I said before, my mother hated all men because of her past experiences. Moreover, my father was still young when he left Earth—around nineteen or twenty years old, and my mother was already hundreds of years old at that time.”

Kong Bailing nodded in understanding. ”What exactly is your motherʼs past?”

”Iʼve asked her too many times, but she and the others were never willing to tell me the truth.”

”If your mother and father separated from each other at that time, how did they end up together?” Kong Bailing was curious about that.

Xuanyuan Yue told Kong Bailing several things, especially about how her mother could reach the upper realm. ”They met again at the Mysterious Tower in the upper realm a few years ago, and my mother finally accepted my father then.”

”The Mysterious Tower?” Xuanyuan Yue nodded and told Kong Bailing about the tower. ”That tower is indeed beneficial for those with cultivation in the Five God Realm, but it wonʼt be useful for cultivators with cultivation in the Three Immortal Realm like me. Actually, there is such a tower in my home domain, but itʼs not as tall as the Mysterious Tower because it only has three floors.”

”What kind of tower is that?”

”We call it the Trial Tower, and each floor has countless different challenges, which are useful for increasing our mental, soul, and body strength.”

Xuanyuan Yueʼs eyes sparkled like stars. ”Can you take me and my sisters to that tower? Weʼre quite strong now, but I feel like our strength isnʼt enough, and we need to continue improving to help our father.”

”If youʼre interested in trying the tower, Iʼll take you there, but we have to talk to the others first tomorrow. Theyʼve prepared some training for the four of you, so weʼll have to rearrange everything.” Then, Kong Bailing asked her, ”Did something happen? Why do you want to help your father? Although Iʼve never fought him, I know that heʼs much stronger than cultivators his age since he was able to block Xin Xingheʼs attack.”

”My father actually forbade me from telling anyone else about this matter, Senior Sister.”

”Oh? Is the problem that serious?”

”Serious and dangerous.” Kong Bailing looked curious upon hearing that, but Xuanyuan Xue immediately grabbed her hand. ”Iʼll tell you about it, but you have to promise me not to tell anyone else about anything youʼre about to see.”

Kong Bailing was confused seeing Xuanyuan Yueʼs serious expression. ”Alright, I promise you, I wonʼt tell anyone.”

”Wait.” Xuanyuan Yue created a qi screen that displayed the darkness, causing Kong Bailing to hurriedly sit down on the bed. ”Senior Sister, the darkness appeared in the outermost area of our universe, and it has already swallowed many realms there. Moreover, it continues to move towards the Supreme Realm, and it will eventually reach this place in the future.”

”How did the darkness appear?” Kong Bailing asked, her gaze focused on the qi screen.

”We are the cause.” Kong Bailing turned her gaze to Xuanyuan Yue. ”The actions of all living beings are the cause of the darknessʼs appearance, but you donʼt need to ask about its source because itʼs too complicated for me. The darkness is real, and my father is the only person who can stop it.

”Your father?” Kong Bailing believed that Ling Yun was strong, but she didnʼt yet know about the depth of his strength, making her skeptical about it.

Xuanyuan Yue sighed softly and grabbed her hands. ”Senior Sister, I canʼt explain much about my father without his permission, but Iʼm not lying to you. Thatʼs why I want to become stronger as soon as possible, and I want to help him stop the darkness.”

”Sigh.” Kong Bailing sighed and patted her head. ”Yue, I understand your desire to become strong as soon as possible, but you must realize that strength cannot be built overnight, and we must go through various processes to attain true power.”

”I know that.” Xuanyuan Yue nodded. ”My father and I have told me that many times, but I still have to strive to become strong, right? The Trial Tower wonʼt help me become strong instantly, but all the challenges there will still be beneficial to me, so I want to go there to train.”

”Youʼre right about that, Yue.” Kong Bailing took her lie down again and hugged her. ”Weʼll talk to the others tomorrow morning, and weʼll go to the Trial Tower as soon as possible.”

”Hehehe,” Xuanyuan Yue giggled and kissed Kong Bailingʼs lips, stunning her. ”Oops! Sorry, Senior Sister Bailing! I have a habit of kissing my beast contract when Iʼm too excited, so I thoughtlessly kissed you.”

”Itʼs okay.” Kong Bailing rubbed her lips. ”Tell me everything you know about the darkness, Yue.”

”Alright.”

Time passed quickly, and morning arrived again. Kong Bailing took the four women to meet with the others to discuss their plans for going to the Trial Tower, which the others agreed to.

They immediately went to Yu Shuang to ask for permission, and they hurriedly left the sect after receiving her permission.
