Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 1379: Yuan Shijia - Huang Lingzhu

”Alright, stop there.” Lu Shen immediately stopped and stared at Ling Yun’s clone. ”I know you’re excited to meet me, but this is my clone, so you have to restrain yourself.”

Lu Shen pursed her lips before glancing at Xue Jing. ”Did you make her cry? Why are her eyes swollen?”

”Yeah, I made her sad and cry.” Ling Yun’s clone then spoke to Zhou Yu. ”My real body is still with Nu Shen, so I want you to speed up this fortress and take us to the Chaos Dragon Domain as quickly as possible.”

After she threw Lu Yi, who had still not woken up from her cultivation, to Ling Yun’s clone, Zhou Yu immediately entered the void again. She used her full strength to speed up the flying speed of the Celestial Fortress.

”Hey! What are you going to do to my big sis?” Lu Shen asked when Ling Yun’s clone touched Lu Yi’s chest. ”Do you intend to enslave her?”

Upon hearing that, Xue Jing looked at both Ling Yun’s clone and Lu Yi, curious about his intentions toward the defenseless female druid.

Ling Yun’s clone shook his head at her. ”I’m not who I used to be, and I’m no longer interested in using my slavery techniques. Moreover, I have a better technique for punishing her, and you’ve experienced it yourself.”

”I see.” Lu Shen was relieved to hear that, especially since he didn’t want Ling Yun’s clone to enslave Lu Yi, despite their past. ”I won’t stop you if you want to use that technique on her, and I think it’s the best solution for all three of us.”

”What kind of technique did you use on this female druid?” Xue Jing suddenly asked Ling Yun’s clone.

Ling Yun’s clone turned to her. ”Haven’t you studied and used it?”

”I see.” Xue Jing immediately understood the technique Ling Yun’s clone was referring to. ”What exactly is the problem between you two? Why do you want to use that technique on her?”

”This woman sent several natural races to kill me while we were still living in the upper realms, and she did it for prophecies that might not come true.” Xue Jing raised an eyebrow, as she didn’t know about the three prophecies, prompting Ling Yun’s clone to explain to her. ”I understand her worries, but I will never forgive her after she tried to kill me.”

Xue Jing nodded in understanding, but she quickly reminded him of something important. ”This druid is currently in the midst of enlightenment, so you must refrain from sending her subconscious into the dream space. If you do it now, I’m afraid she will suffer a backlash, and it might kill her.”

”I know.” After he used the dream ability on Lu Yi, Ling Yun’s clone handed her over to Lu Shen. ”You can take her to one of the empty rooms in this tower, and you can live with her if you like.”

”I’ll stay with you, but I’ll wait for your real body to finish with Nu Shen.” After saying this, Lu Shen immediately carried Lu Yi out of the bedroom.

Ling Yun’s clone then asked Sheng Ming a question. ”Have you contacted Huang Hao and informed him about that matter?”

”Yes.” Sheng Ming nodded at him. ”Huang Hao already knew about this matter, but she didn’t follow Huang Lingzhu to the primordial realm, and she went to the Desolate Abyss Domain instead.”

Ling Yun’s clone nodded in understanding. ”I believe that Huang Lingzhu is capable of handling Yuan Shijia, and I am also concerned that the fake immortals might go to the Desolate Abyss Domain to release the people who are trapped there, which would only exacerbate our situation. However, I still don’t understand how that woman could create those fake immortals because the old dragon told me she’s still in deep slumber, and I also can’t understand her desire to destroy this universe.”

”Who is Yuan Shijia?” Xue Jing asked.

”Yuan Shijia is a primordial being who survived the destruction of the Primordial Era besides Huang Lingzhu and Long Hun.” Sheng Ming’s answer shocked Xue Jing. ”According to Lingzhu, that woman’s abilities are similar to those of the seer, and she can be said to be the first seer born in this universe. However, there is no such term in the Primordial Era, and the first seer I know is Huang Tianyuan.”

Xue Jing nodded slightly. ”If she really has abilities similar to the seer, doesn’t that mean she saw all of this happening? I think Huang Lingzhu’s trip to the Primordial Realm was in vain, and she’s probably gone by now.”

”Hmm?” Sheng Ming and Ling Yun’s clone frowned upon hearing that. ”I think she’s right, husband. Yuan Shijia must have known everything, and I don’t think she would stay there to wait for her to come.”

Ling Yun’s clone nodded in agreement with her. ”Huang Lingzhu hasn’t arrived in the Void Realm yet, so we should wait for her to find out the results.”

”Yeah.”

After some time, Huang Lingzhu finally arrived at the Void Realm, but she ignored Ling Yun’s clones and the others. She flew very far towards the gate leading to the Primordial Realm, and she activated it from afar before disappearing inside.

One of Ling Yun’s clones immediately moved toward the gate, but it closed as soon as he arrived, leaving him sighing in annoyance. ”I hope she can find and stop that woman, so we don’t have to worry about those fake immortals anymore.”

Ling Yun’s clone then sat cross-legged in front of the gate to cultivate and wait for Huang Lingzhu to come out.

When Huang Lingzhu arrived at the ruined pond, Yuan Shijia was already waiting for her with a satisfied smile on her face. ”Long time no see, Time. Were you surprised by my actions?”

”Why did you do all that, Shijia? How could you create those fake immortals?” Huang Lingzhu questioned her with a fierce look.

”Hehe.” Yuan Shijia giggled. ”You all know that I possess abilities similar to the seer because I told Long Hun about them. However, you guys never knew about my true abilities, especially since I’ve never shown them to any of you in the past.”

”Hmm?” Huang Lingzhu immediately restricted Yuan Shijia’s movements to prevent her from escaping, but she was shocked because she couldn’t do it.

Yuan Shijia shook her head. ”Your cultivation has indeed surpassed mine, but that means nothing because the current me isn’t real, and I’m no different from those fake immortals. I may have been asleep for a long time in this realm, but I’ve always followed the developments out there, including all the preparations you made with the help of the man from the other universe. Your time abilities can eliminate me, but you can never kill me because this is not my real body, and I’ve hidden my body in a place that is inaccessible to anyone except Chaos and those hidden forces. I believe they won’t interfere in this matter, so you can forget about your desire to find my real body and kill me.”

”Why do you want to destroy this universe?” Huang Lingzhu responded with a furrowed brow.

”Unlike you, I no longer have any attachment to this universe, and this universe has become too boring for me since the Law destroyed this realm and killed the others.” Huang Lingzhu frowned deeper, and Yuan Shijia continued. ”Honestly, I still had a slight connection to this universe before, but that connection disappeared with Long Hun’s death.”

Huang Lingzhu was a bit shocked and confused. ”Long Hun? Did you fall in love with him?”

Yuan Shijia nodded at her. ”After those worldly emotions affected us, I began to understand the feeling of love. Long Hun was the only one of our brothers and sisters who treated me very well, and I unknowingly fell in love with him. Unfortunately, he never loved me, and he only loved you. Even so, I didn’t think too much about that, but things changed after he managed to find me still alive. I felt truly happy at that moment, but his confession shattered my joy and eliminated my final attachment to this universe.”

”You—”

”You’re the cause, Time,” Yuan Shijia interrupted Huang Lingzhu. ”I know everything went according to Long Hun’s plan back then, but you were the one who executed it by killing him. This universe is too dull without the true Primordial Chaos Dragon, and those idiotic mortals have also destroyed it, which provoked the anger of the Chaos. Since everything is already awful, why should this universe continue to exist? Wouldn’t it be better if the Chaos returned it to nothingness and rebuilt it from scratch?”

”You’ve gone mad, Shijia!” Huang Lingzhu shouted furiously.

”Hahaha.” Yuan Shijia laughed softly. ”You’re right, I’ve gone mad, and you’re the cause. If you hadn’t killed Long Hun, I would never have gone this mad. His successor has indeed appeared, and he might become the next Primordial Chaos Dragon in the future. However, he is not the dragon I once knew, and he will never be able to become him. My love is dead, and his soul will disappear forever because of his successor. Therefore, I do not want this universe to continue to exist, and I will speed up the Chaos’ plan to destroy it. I think our reunion this time is enough, and we will meet again when I reach your level. At that time, I will kill Ling Yun and absorb his soul, so your plan to save this universe will never succeed.”

Huang Lingzhu clenched her fists as Yuan Shijia disappeared. For the first time in her life, she felt powerless to do anything. ”Tch!”
