Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 938: Fighting Ape

Currently, Ling Yun was fighting a male desert ape whose body was a little bigger than his, but it wasnʼt a big deal for him. Even without his half-dragon form, he was still able to deal with each of his attacks.

However, the desert ape looked furious, especially since his cultivation was at the peak venerate realm and Ling Yunʼs cultivation was at the upper saint realm, but he still couldnʼt defeat him. Instead, his attacks kept pushing him back, causing his arms to bleed from their repeated punches and even dislocating his arm bones multiple times.

But alas, the desert ape didnʼt know that Ling Yun had already fused with the primordial chaos dragonʼs bloodline, soul, and skeleton, especially since he continued to restrain his chaos dragon aura.

If Ling Yun hadnʼt done that, the desert ape would have already been submitted to him before they started fighting, but he didnʼt want that to happen.

ʼAbsorbing those negative emotions really isnʼt a waste, and I can utilize them to sharpen my fighting instincts, but itʼs still not enough to face cultivators stronger than me like Zhu Ling.ʼ Ling Yun mumbled inwardly, then faintly smiled at the desert apeʼs expression and gestured with his finger. ”Hey, monkey! You should give up!

Otherwise, I will kill you and skin you, so Hu Yuan can enjoy your flesh.”

”You underestimate me too much, human! I admit that you are powerful, even though your cultivation is lower than mine, but you will never be able to kill me.” After he said that, the desert ape stomped both feet on the ground, causing the sand around them to scatter into the air, but they then gathered on his body and formed a solid sand armor.

”Before, I didnʼt exert all my strength because you were weaker than me, but I thought about you wrongly, so I will fight you with all my strength now.”

”Hmm?” Instead, Ling Yun rubbed his chin while thinking about something, and he laughed after remembering it. ”Hahaha! Your current appearance reminds me of someone! Back then, I once fought an earth cultivator, and he also used earth armor like you, but his armor was much more solid than yours. However, after destroying his armor, I was able to defeat him, and heʼs now one of my best friends.

Actually, I wanted to kill you, but I thought it would be better if I captured you and brought you to him, and the two of you would be perfect fighting partners.”

”Hmm?” The desert ape glared fiercely at Ling Yun. ”Do you think weak humans like you and the others are worthy to be my master?”

”Hahaha.” Ling Yun laughed at the desert apeʼs question. ”You are right that we humans are much weaker than you beasts, but it is only limited to our physique. As for our cultivation, we humans can cultivate faster than you beasts, and many of us can defeat you without breaking a sweat.”

The desert ape was unable to refute Ling Yunʼs words because he realized that they were true. Moreover, he had previously witnessed him killing quite a lot of beasts in the venerate realm, and he had also killed several beasts in the lower heavenly god realm.

”Shall we make a bet?” Ling Yun inquired as he took out three beast pills and presented them to the desert ape. ”These three are useful for beasts, and I will give them to you if I canʼt defeat you before midnight.”

”Hmm?” The desert ape seemed tempted after he saw those three pills, especially since he had difficulty breaking through to the five god realms. However, he was not stupid, and he would not blindly believe Ling Yun. ”What kind of pills are those? How can you prove that they are not poison? I donʼt want to fight in vain, and I donʼt want to die because of your dirty tricks.”

”Hey! Youʼre really smart for a monkey!” After saying that, Ling Yun jumped away because the desert ape suddenly threw a big rock at him.

The desert ape then shouted at him. ”Hey, Human! Iʼm not a monkey, but an ape! If you dare call me a monkey one more time, Iʼll tear your body apart.”

”Haha.” Ling Yun laughed while shrugging his shoulders. ”In my eyes, apes and monkeys are no different, and you are both primates, right?”

”You bastard!” The desert ape screamed as he leapt so high into the sky, but he immediately dove towards Ling Yun with his right hand folded back in a punching position, and he aimed his fist at him when their positions were almost close.

However, Ling Yun did not move from his spot, and his black flames had already covered his right hand. He took a firm stance as his bloodlust radiated out of his body, causing the desert ape to shiver in fear.

However, that did not deter the desert ape, who unleashed his own bloodlust as killing intent flashed across his eyes before punching Ling Yun. ”Eat my punch!”

”Heh!” Ling Yun snorted softly and aimed his fist at the desert apeʼs right hand, and their fists once again clashed forcefully, causing the ground beneath his feet to crack rapidly.

*Crack... Crack...*

”Why are you still playing with me? Didnʼt you say that you would use all your strength against me?”

”I will kill you!” The desert ape punched his left hand at Ling Yun, but he blocked it with his left palm, and their clash made him sink quite deeply into the ground. ”You are too weak, human!”

”Somehow, I find it funny that a monkey can fly like you, especially since there are no flying monkeys in my home realm.” Ling Yun said this as he grabbed both of the desert apeʼs fists, used a bit of his dragon force, and then slammed him to the ground.

*Bam*

”Gah!” The desert ape screamed in pain with a look of shock, as he never expected that Ling Yun would parry his double attack so easily, let alone slam him so hard.

Ling Yun then floated above the desert ape. ”How about your decision? Do you want to bet with me or not? However, if I can beat you, then you have to go to a realm that is quite far away to meet my friend there, and you have to make a contract with him.”

”Prove to me that those three pills are not poison first!” The desert ape shouted as he tried to slap Ling Yun, but he immediately flew away from him. ”I wonʼt bet with you if you canʼt prove it to me!”

ʼTch! This monkey is much smarter than some humans, especially those keyboard warriors who never use their brains.ʼ Ling Yun then turned to Tian Yueling and the others, who were watching their fight from afar. However, he felt uncertain about choosing between Er Xiyi or the other two beasts.

As for his six followers, he gave them three pills a long time ago, so they wonʼt be of any use to them anymore.

Suddenly, Cai Hudie appeared in front of Ling Yun, and her presence shocked the desert ape, especially since her cultivation was in the High Heavenly God Realm. ʼWhat the hell! Who is this female beast? How could a powerful beast like him be together with this human man? Whatʼs their relationship?ʼ

The desert ape didnʼt have to wait long to find out about their relationship, especially since Cai Hudie hugged Ling Yun tenderly while telling him. ”Master, we think it would be better if you gave those three pills to Er Xiyi, especially since you were already planning to take her and Long Jue to that place.”

ʼMaster!?ʼ The desert ape was shocked to hear Cai Hudie call Ling Yun her master. ʼWhat the hell with her? Why is he willing to acknowledge this human as his master?ʼ

”Yeah, youʼre right.” Ling Yun responded with a nod, and he immediately called Er Xiyi to him.

Once again, the desert ape was shocked as soon as Er Xiyi arrived in front of them, especially since her cultivation was too far above him in the venerable god realm, and he subconsciously took several steps back to get away from them.

”Hey, Monkey! You donʼt need to be afraid of them! They wonʼt interfere in our fight.” The desert ape frowned and wanted to attack him after hearing that, but he immediately held himself back because of the presence of the two female beasts, and Ling Yun gave Er Xiyi the three pills.

”Since you wanted to know whether my pills were real or poison, I had to call her here, and she will be the one to prove that all three are useful for beasts like you.”

”Eat them; you will definitely be happy with their effects.”

Er Xiyi nodded to Cai Hudie and immediately swallowed the three pills. The desert ape didnʼt take his eyes off her, desperately wanting the pills, but he was too afraid of Ling Yunʼs poisoning.

”Hmm?” Er Xiyi was genuinely surprised by the effectiveness of the three pills. ”Mo Chen! I-”

”No need to thank me.” Ling Yun then pointed at the desert ape. ”You can tell him the effects of the three pills, so this stubborn monkey wonʼt doubt the effects of my pills anymore, and we can continue our fight.”
