Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 878: Father, Mother, and Son

”Why must you behave like this, Old Friend?” Kong Ming asked with a heavy sigh. ”Weʼve been friends for so long, so you can at least give me some face and release Tianhe from the dungeon.”

”Unfortunately, I canʼt do that.” Tian Ya firmly rejected Kong Mingʼs request. ”Iʼve given you too much face by letting him do whatever he pleases all this time, but the situation has changed now. Moreover, Liu Chuqing has warned him repeatedly, but heʼs actually being stubborn and ignoring her words; he even dared to threaten and attack her.

Thatʼs why Iʼm giving you two choices now: let me handle him, or you can take him back to your clan.”

However, Kong Ming didnʼt want to give up, and he felt that Tian Yaʼs attitude was a little strange. ”Did something happen? Is someone threatening you? Why are you suddenly acting this strict?”

”No one threatened me.” Tian Ya decided to tell Kong Ming the truth. ”Honestly, I made a decision like this for the safety of your son and your clan, or else Kong Tianhe will die, and your clan will definitely be destroyed if he continues to pester Mao Erlong.”

”What do you mean by that?” Zhuge Lingyan asked in a high tone. ”No other clan in this realm can destroy our Kong Clan, except for your Tian Clan.”

Tian Ya narrowed his eyes and stared at Zhuge Lingyan fiercely, causing her to hide behind her husband. ”Mao Erlongʼs partner is Uncle Huangʼs sole disciple, and he is Jiange Xiuxiʼs husband.”

”What?”

Zhuge Lingyan exclaimed in shock, and she almost fell to the floor after hearing that, but Kong Ming hurriedly supported her. ”Is Old Huangʼs disciple really Mao Erlongʼs partner? But how could he be Jiange Xiuxiʼs husband? He told us that she had returned to these upper realms, and she helped Zhiyu Yushen clean up the dead village, but he didnʼt say anything about their relationship.”

”I actually didnʼt want to tell this matter to you two, especially since my lady forbade me. However, you two were too stubborn, and you wouldnʼt give up on the matter of Kong Tianhe, so I was forced to reveal their relationship.” Tian Ya then moved in front of Kong Ming and shared some of his memories.

”His name is Mo Chen; you can see for yourself that their relationship is too close, and my lady is willing to do anything for his sake. Thatʼs why I canʼt let your son act as arrogant as usual, let alone let him continue to pester Mao Erlong, or else you guys will be the ones to lose.”

Kong Ming released a heavy sigh and nodded. ”Even though Mo Chen is still young, he is truly exceptional. He can convince Old Huang to accept him, and he can even win Jiange Xiuxiʼs heart. In that case, I will leave Tianhe to you, and you can punish him up as harsh as you want.”

”But, husband-”

”Enough!” Kong Ming interrupted her words while glaring sharply. ”All these years, I have let you behave as you please, but you must follow my words from now on. Otherwise, I will have no qualms about punishing you, and I will return you to your parents.”

Hearing that, Zhuge Lingyan turned to Tian Ya with an expression full of hostility, and she blamed everything on him.

Kong Ming let out a heavy sigh at Zhuge Lingyanʼs expression. ”I will bring her back now too, and I hope you can help me to fix my sonʼs character.”

”All right, leave him to me.”

”Thank you.” Kong Ming then said to his wife. ”Take out your returning jade.”

Zhuge Lingyan shook her head vigorously as she shouted at him. ”I wonʼt go back before I meet Tianhe!”

”Old Wen.”

Old Wen instantly appeared in front of them, surprising Kong Ming and Zhuge Lingyan, and he then led the two of them to leave the room. ”Follow me; I will take you two to see Kong Tianhe.”

Wasting no time, Zhuge Lingyan followed Old Wen, but Kong Ming turned to Tian Ya for a moment before following behind them.

”That Zhuge Lingyan is arrogant and stubborn, and she wonʼt just give up on this matter. However, Iʼve warned her clearly, so I wonʼt interfere anymore if she wants to find trouble with Mo Chen and my lady.”

Before long, they had arrived at the dungeon, and they saw Kong Tianhe sitting listlessly in his prison, which made Zhuge Lingyan panic. Old Wen directly removed the lock so she could meet her sons, and he decided not to disturb them by waiting outside.

”Tianhe!” Zhuge Lingyan shouted as she ran towards her son, and she immediately hugged him. ” Are you okay? Did they treat you badly?”

”Mother! Iʼm happy to see you, but I want to get out of this place as soon as possible.” Kong Tianhe hugged his mother and turned to Kong Ming. ”Father, you have to get me out of this dungeon; Iʼm uncomfortable staying here.”

”No.” Kong Ming rejected his sonʼs request by shaking his head. ”This time, I will support Tian Yaʼs decision, and I am doing this for our good of you. Thatʼs why I allow him to punish you as harshly as possible, and I hope you can change your character, or we will perish.”

Kong Tianheʼs face darkened after he heard that, and he protested to his father directly. ”Why are you doing this to me? Why are you supporting that bastardʼs decision? Mao Erlong-Gah!”

*Slap*

Zhuge Lingyan was truly shocked that Kong Ming slapped their son so hard, and she wanted to scold him, but he directed his killing intent at her, causing her to swallow her words back.

”Youʼre such an idiot!” Kong Ming furiously shouted at his son. ”Is a woman more important than your life? Do you want to see our Kong Clan disappear? Are you able to bear the burden and shame of your ancestors if our clan is wiped out?”

As he rubbed his cheek, Kong Tianhe looked at his father in complete confusion, especially since Kong Ming had never hit him before, and he was always willing to fulfill his wishes.

Seeing his son continue to remain silent, Kong Mingʼs expression became increasingly furious and cold, and he spoke to him again, even threatening him. ”I have made a fatal mistake by allowing your mother to pamper you continuously since you were little, which makes your character very bad.

Even though it is too late, I will never allow her to spoil you anymore, and I will be very strict with both of you from now on. Even if you two are my wife and son, my Kong Clan is much more important, and I will not hesitate to kill you two if you guys dare to do something that will cause harm to my clan.”

ʼBastard! How dare he treat me and my son like this! Everything happened because of that bastard Tian Ya, and I will take revenge on him!ʼ Zhuge Lingyan inwardly swore as she stared at her husband hatefully, but she didnʼt say anything to him, and she immediately took her returning jade.

”Tianhe, I will do something to get you out of here, so you can wait here patiently for some time, and I will definitely be back here soon.”

After she said that, Zhuge Lingyan immediately broke her returning jade and disappeared from the dungeon, causing Kong Ming to sigh helplessly at his wifeʼs attitude.

”Listen to me, Tianhe.” Kong Tianhe immediately looked up at his father. ”I donʼt mind if you want another woman to be your partner, but I want you to forget about Mao Erlong, especially since she already has a partner, and her partner is Old Huangʼs sole disciple.”

Instantly, Kong Tianhe froze on the spot, and his eyes widened in shock, as he himself had heard that Tian Huang had taken a disciple, but he did not expect that his disciple would snatch the woman of his dreams. ”Who exactly is that man, Father?”

”His name is Mo Chen.” Kong Tianhe raised his eyebrows after hearing that, but he remembered that he had never met Ling Yun before. ”Anyway, his status is more terrifying than it seems, especially since he is Jiange Xiuxiʼs husband.”

”What? Are you tricking me, Father? How could he possibly be her wife? Jiange Xiuxi has an extraordinary status, and she is very powerful; even many strong cultivators idolize her.”

Kong Ming shook his head at him. ”Iʼm not joking or trying to deceive you, but it is a fact that Mo Chen and Jiange Xiuxi have such a relationship. Thatʼs why I want you to forget about Mao Erlong, and I will ask Tian Ya to release you from this dungeon if you can really do that.”

Kong Tianheʼs expression was really bad after he heard that, as he had coveted Mao Erlong for years, but he kept rejecting his request to become his partner.

Kong Ming then patted his sonʼs shoulder. ”Tianhe, I know you are very interested in Mao Erlong, but we will never be able to fight Jiange Xiuxi, and she will definitely order her followers to destroy you and our clan, so you have to think about this seriously. Do you understand?”

Kong Tianhe was completely speechless after hearing that, and he was naturally aware that his fatherʼs words were true. Jiange Xiuxi could crush them, especially since there were too many strong cultivators behind her. ”I understand, Father.”
