Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 196: First Day College

The next morning, Ling Yun was already sitting in the hall with Zhang Bing, preparing to attend the inauguration as a freshman on campus.

”Hey Brother Yun, how was Jing last night? Did she confess her feelings to you again?”

”No, we just talked casually, and I went straight home after dropping her off.”

Zhang Bing then turned to the twins, who were sitting some distance away from them, but he then raised his eyebrows at Hua Yueʼs angry expression. ”Do you know what happened between them? Just look at them, Brother Yun. Yue looked cold and angry at Jing.”

”Hmm?” Ling Yun immediately turned to the twins; he frowned at Hua Yueʼs expression. ʼIs she jealous of Ye Jing again? Sigh, Yue was always like that; she was always jealous and envious of her, and she always wanted to be better than her.ʼ

Ling Xi, who had been sitting on his shoulder since earlier, finally spoke. ”You are right, Ling Yun. Hua Yue is very jealous and envious of Ye Jingʼs current beauty; she wants to be as beautiful as her twin sister, and she is afraid that she will always be overshadowed by her.

Unfortunately, her jealousy and enviousness were useless; she doesnʼt have spiritual veins, so she could never become a cultivator like her twin sister.”

ʼIs it true that Hua Yue doesnʼt have spiritual veins?ʼ Ling Yun was shocked to hear that, especially since they were twins, but one of them had spiritual veins and the other didnʼt.

”Yes.” Ling Xi nodded to him. ”Like Yun Mingyue, Hua Yue can never become a cultivator either.”

Ling Yun sighed in his heart; he felt that there would be big trouble between the twins later, because he was very familiar with Hua Yueʼs nature.

*Gong*

Suddenly, a gong sounded, and a shoulder-length black-haired woman wearing a black blazer combined with a white shirt and black skirt walked onto the stage.

Ling Yun was slightly surprised to see the woman. ʼWen Qing? So itʼs true that she is one of the professors on this campus, huh?ʼ

Although Wen Qingʼs appearance had changed significantly compared to the last time, Ling Yun could still clearly recognize her. She herself had cut her long black hair down to shoulder length, and she walked leisurely to the center of the podium to deliver her briefing to freshmen.

Arriving in the middle of the podium and looking at the freshmen, Wen Qing instantly stiffened as her eyes fell on Ling Yun.

ʼMo Chen?ʼ Wen Qingʼs heart skipped a beat as soon as she recognized him, but she also felt relieved in her heart, because Ling Yun managed to survive the incident of that night.

Wen Qing then calmed herself down, and she started talking to all the freshmen. She explained many things to them for not too long, and she then took turns with the other lecturers.

An hour later, the freshmen had gone to their respective rooms, but without realizing that several hours had passed, and it was already midday.

”What are we going to do now, Brother Yun? We still have to wait a few hours for our next course.” Zhang Bing asked as he walked down the halls of the campus alongside Ling Yun.

”I donʼt know, maybe we should go to the cafeteria first and wait there.” Ling Yun answered with a shrug, and Zhang Bing nodded in agreement.

Arriving at the cafeteria, Ye Jing and Hua Yue were already waiting for them, but they didnʼt talk to each other as usual.

However, Hua Yue immediately lowered her face when she saw Ling Yun, and she still felt embarrassed because of her attitude last night.

Seeing her twin sisterʼs reaction, Ye Jing could only shake her head at her attitude.

Just as they were about to enter the cafeteria, a woman rushed towards them, and she immediately grabbed Ling Yunʼs hand, startling them. ”Professor Wen?”

”I want to talk to you.” Wen Qing replied curtly, then she turned to Zhan Bing and the twins. ”Iʼll borrow your friends first.”

Without waiting for their reply, Wen Qing immediately pulled Ling Yun away in a hurry, and she brought him into her office.

Zhang Bing couldnʼt help but laugh wryly when he saw Ling Yun being pulled away by Wen Qing. Moreover, she is still beautiful, even though she is in her forties.

Ye Jing was perplexed and suspicious of Wen Qingʼs behavior with Ling Yun, especially since it was their first day of college. ʼHave they known each other for a long time?ʼ

As for Hua Yue, she was feeling resentful and jealous again. She had waited for Ling Yun for a very long time, but now he had been taken away by another woman. ʼDamn it! That bitch is interrupting my time with him!ʼ

Wen Qingʼs Room

As soon as they arrived at his office, Wen Qing immediately hugged Ling Yun very tightly, then she buried her face in his chest and cried so hard.

Ling Yun sighed softly as he hugged Wen Qing, who was still crying. He knew that she felt guilty towards him because of what happened that night. In fact, he didnʼt think too much about that nightʼs incident anymore, but that didnʼt mean he had forgotten his grudge against her husband.

However, even though he almost died that day, he was also grateful for it, or else he would not have met Ling Xi.

”Iʼm relieved that youʼre alive and well, Mo Chen.” She continued to sob.

Ling Yun rubbed her back gently. ”You donʼt have to cry anymore, Wen Qing. As you can see, Iʼm fine now, and what happened that night is also a blessing for me.”

”A blessing?” Wen Qing then looked at him as she wiped her tears; she then observed Ling Yunʼs face and body, and her eyes immediately widened in shock. ”You... You are now a cultivator?”

Previously, Wen Qing was too happy to see Ling Yun still alive, so she didnʼt pay much attention to the fact that he was already a cultivator.

”Yes.” Ling Yun nodded at her; Ling Xi had already told him that Wen Qing was also a cultivator, and her strength was on par with his fatherʼs in the Middle Soul Realm. ”That night I was helped by a female cultivator; she healed me and taught me how to cultivate. However, I donʼt know her identity; she never mentioned her name, and she left immediately after confirming that my condition was fine.”

”Itʼs really a blessing in disguise, but I didnʼt expect your cultivation to be this fast, and your cultivation speed is simply absurd. In less than a month, youʼve already reached the Middle Foundation Realm.” Wen Qing spoke as she continued to observe Ling Yunʼs body. She could sense something unusual emanating from his body, and the unusual thing seemed to be pulling her soul closer to him.

She wondered inwardly as the sensation grew stronger and she began to sniff his body. ʼWhat exactly is this? Why does it seem to be pulling on my soul?ʼ

”Hey, although her cultivation base is high, her mental state is weak, and she canʼt resist your charm.” Ling Xi said with a chuckle upon seeing Wen Qingʼs strange attitude.

Ling Yun inwardly laughed; he didnʼt really care about it. ”This is because Iʼm a dual cultivator.”

”Eh? Are you really a dual cultivator?” Ling Yun nodded at her, then Wen Qing sighed softly. ”No wonder your cultivation rose so fast, and I just remembered your job, so it must be easy for you to harvest Yin Qi.”

Ling Yun smiled wryly at her words. In fact, he had stopped working as a male prostitute since he had several women. ”But Iʼm quite surprised to know that youʼre a professor at this campus, and also that your appearance has changed so much since last time.”

”Well, I deliberately changed my appearance, and I have started a new life now.” Wen Qing replied with a smile.

”New life?” Ling Yun asked in confusion.

”I have divorced my husband because of what happened that day.” Wen Qing chuckled and then explained it to him. ”At first, he did not want to accept my decision, but my Master helped me by forcing him to accept my decision. Since he was afraid of my master, he finally accepted my decision. And this is how I am now, enjoying life as a divorced woman, and this way I can focus on cultivating again.”

”Is he a strong cultivator?” Ling Yun seriously asked, as he wanted to find out more details about his enemy.

Wen Qing nodded to him. ”His cultivation is a minor stage above mine, and he is also from one of the upper clans, the Chen Clan.”

”Whatʼs his name?”

”Chen Hong is the first son of the Chen Clan, and he will be the next patriarch of his clan.”

”I see.” Ling Yun nodded and clenched his fists. ʼChen Hong, huh? One day, I will get my revenge on you for what you did to me that night.ʼ

Wen Qing twirled her fingers around his chest and asked with a face full of smiles. ”Shall we continue our disturbed night?”
