My Tribrid System: More than a Monster

Chapter 421

Swooping through the sky at a speed almost comparable to lightning was a sleek flying construct.

Its destination?

The main wall of Wall Steel, where another wave of Aberrants was relentlessly attacking.

This vehicle looked nothing like the helicopters or hellicarriers used by the Corps across Alcatraz.

It was something entirely different.

Far more elegant.

It was called the **Aeroglide**.

The Aeroglide was an enormous wheel-less transport craft that seemed to defy gravity itself.

Suspended high above the ground by an advanced magnetic levitation system, the colossal vehicle glided silently through the sky with astonishing stability.

Despite its immense size, its streamlined, aerodynamic frame gave it the elegance of a soaring bird rather than the bulk of a conventional aircraft.

Its metallic silver hull gleamed beneath the sunlight, accented by sweeping navy-blue patterns that flowed gracefully across its body like rolling waves.

Thin neon-green strips traced the contours of the craft, glowing softly against the polished surface and emphasizing its futuristic design.

The exterior was forged from a lightweight yet incredibly durable alloy, its mirror-like finish reflecting the endless sea of clouds surrounding it.

Broad stabilizing fins extended seamlessly from both sides of the vessel, allowing it to glide effortlessly through the air with unmatched precision.

Remarkably, there were no visible engines, propellers, or thrusters.

The craft simply floated through the heavens as though gravity itself had no claim over it.

Stretching well over one hundred feet in length, the Aeroglide was large enough to transport several hundred passengers in complete comfort.

Long panoramic windows lined both sides of the vessel, their dark-tinted glass offering breathtaking views of the world below.

Behind its sleek exterior lay a spacious passenger cabin fitted with multiple rows of luxurious seats separated by broad aisles.

Soft ambient lighting illuminated the interior, while holographic displays and advanced navigation systems reinforced its unmistakably futuristic atmosphere.

Every detail, from the polished metallic finish to the harmonious blend of silver, navy blue, and neon green, reflected the perfect union of cutting-edge technology and refined craftsmanship.

This was the Vanguard Order’s one and only true transport craft.

No other Corps...

Not even the military...

Possessed anything remotely comparable.

It had been designed for both interplanetary and intra-world travel.

The Aeroglide sliced through the clouds, racing toward the battlefield unfolding around Wall Steel.

Inside the vessel, apart from the pilot, roughly a hundred Vanguard members sat quietly on the benches.

Most of them wore tense expressions.

...Though not everyone.

One man sat with one leg casually crossed over the other.

Resting beside him on the bench was a sleek metallic case, securely locked and carrying something unknown.

Around him sat dozens of others.

Each wore a black body-hugging combat suit that clung tightly to their physiques before sealing neatly around the neck.

The material looked completely airtight, leaving no visible gaps.

On their feet were pairs of Vector Mobility System boots.

Over the combat suit rested a short dark-green mantle that stopped just above the waist.

It remained firmly attached to the suit like a second skin, with only its hem fluttering gently whenever the cabin shifted.

Each mantle possessed a hood, though none of the passengers had bothered wearing it.

On the Captain’s mantle, a single silver star was embedded proudly upon the shoulder.

Directly opposite him sat a young woman whose lazy expression made it seem as though she couldn’t care less about the chaos awaiting them.

A short staff twirled effortlessly between her fingers.

The weapon possessed a simple yet commanding elegance.

Forged from a lustrous midnight-black material, its perfectly cylindrical shaft gleamed beneath the cabin lights with a subtle metallic sheen.

Its surface was flawlessly smooth, yet somehow retained a natural texture that hinted at an origin far beyond ordinary craftsmanship.

Thick crimson bands encircled both ends of the weapon, seamlessly blending into its dark body and creating a striking contrast.

Unlike ordinary metal, the staff seemed almost alive.

Faint crimson veins ran beneath its polished surface, appearing and disappearing depending on how the light struck it, as though energy quietly flowed through its core.

Despite its solid construction, the weapon was perfectly balanced—neither too thick nor too slender—allowing it to be wielded with incredible speed and overwhelming force.

Both ends were reinforced with sleek crimson caps that tapered ever so slightly, giving them the appearance of compressed spearheads without sacrificing the staff’s blunt nature.

Every inch of its craftsmanship reflected strength, precision, and durability.

Elegant in design yet intimidating in presence, the staff carried the unmistakable aura of a weapon capable of shattering stone, crushing armor, and sweeping aside anything unfortunate enough to stand before it.

Like Raze, a single silver star was embedded upon the shoulder of her robe, signifying her rank as a Captain of the Vanguard Order with a squad of her own.

With a tired sigh, the woman rose from her seat.

Even standing inside the Aeroglide, her head nearly brushed the ceiling.

She stood well over six feet tall.

Flowing emerald-green hair framed a face adorned with deep black eyes.

Her figure was the very definition of a bombshell.

A slim, graceful waist connected her upper and lower body with near-perfect proportions.

The cabin lights seemed to dance across her flawless skin, enhancing her appearance as though the title of Vanguard Captain itself had sculpted her into perfection.

She was, after all, one of the Order’s strongest Captains...

Second only to Captain Raze.

She had also been only the second Vanguard in history to earn a title while still holding the rank of Sergeant.

They simply called her...

...

**The Skull Crusher.**

”We’re here!”

The pilot’s announcement echoed through the cabin.

Raze’s eyes snapped open instantly.

His hand slid toward the metallic case resting beside him.

Without saying a word, he lifted it effortlessly before making his way toward the hatch.

”Oi! Aren’t you at least going to wait until we know how many enemies are out there?” the female Captain called after him.

Raze placed the case upright beside his feet.

His gaze never left the sealed hatch.

One by one, the other Vanguard members rose from their seats before silently falling in behind him.

Slowly...

The hatch began to open.

Cold wind rushed into the cabin.

Raze’s robe fluttered violently behind him.

His eyes swept across the endless sea of clouds before settling on the battlefield far below.

Aberrants continued to assault the Wall relentlessly.

Others had already spread into the surrounding districts, reducing buildings to rubble.

”Ella...”

Raze spoke without turning around.

”I don’t need an exact number.”

A brief silence followed.

”Whether there are hundreds...”

”...or thousands...”

”They’ll all fall to my blade.”

He rested a hand against the side of the metallic case.

A soft blue light scanned his palm.

**Identity Confirmed.**

With no further hesitation—

Raze kicked off the Aeroglide.

He dove headfirst toward the battlefield.

No parachute.

No hesitation.

No intention of waiting for the Aeroglide to land.

He simply fell.

Beside him, the metallic case shattered apart midair.

Panels separated one after another, exposing the weapon sealed within.

At the same time, the suit wrapped around his body tightened.

His entire combat suit glowed faintly.

Mina’s voice echoed through his communicator.

**— Removing all limiters.**

His heartbeat accelerated.

Blood surged violently through his veins.

The last pieces of the metallic case flew apart.

Revealing...

An enormous battle axe.

BAM!
