Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Uh... my, my Lord, he, he has already escaped, we...”

Boom!

A Stellar level creature who just tried to speak was instantly blown to pieces.

The Domain Master level creature coldly surveyed the subordinates who accompanied him here to ambush Jia Yan, thinking only to praise but ultimately useless, and almost felt the urge to kill.

This scene today brought him great shame, actively ambushing a Subspace Talent creature below Domain Master level and still allowing the other to escape even without their knowledge.

If it spreads out, it’s not just being defeated by a Foreign Territory Lord creature, but the enemy might exploit it, leading to the loss of his prestige in this Starry Sky.

Hence, he contemplated killing all his present subordinates to prevent his failure from being leaked by them in the future.

Each subordinate was silent as if in fear; they all felt the killing intent from this Domain Master level existence.

Everyone was trembling.

”Forget it...” Suddenly, the Domain Master creature sighed and ceased releasing his oppressive aura.

He understood that the enemy had already fled, so even if word spread, it would likely come from their side, not his side. If it did spread, it should be the enemy to do so first.

This disgrace, he had already accepted.

”And as for this escapee, his Subspace Talent was unexpectedly terrifying. Even using technological power, he entered Tenth-degree Subspace calmly, dodging attacks proficiently, demonstrating how frightening his Subspace Talent truly is. Moreover, this guy is a subordinate of that Insect Clan queen; obtaining such a subordinate, if this creature’s strength increases... it’ll be a major threat!”

The Domain Master creature thought of the Insect Clan queen and was furious enough to vomit blood.

This is unfair bullying.

Just an Outsider, yet he immediately found this Starfield, looking to snatch food from his mouth. Of course, he wouldn’t agree.

But unexpectedly, the opponent’s strength was so formidable that he got injured; if not for his great escape abilities, he might already be dead.

”And that other guy, we’ve battled for many years and both defeated by an Outsider, would he be willing? Today’s matter shows the Insect Clan queen still holds potential for future trouble; it’s not about this Subspace Talent guy posing a threat, but her power continues to grow, even recruiting Strong Ones recently. If we don’t respond, we’ll be helplessly awaiting annihilation.”

”Forget it, I’ll put aside this shame and go talk to him. I’ve already lost face like this, no matter losing once more.”

This Domain Master creature, due to Jia Yan’s incident, became indifferent to matters of face.

If Jia Yan knew his appearance led a Domain Master creature to disregard face and actively seek another Domain Master to discuss, he’d likely feel conflicted.

Making a Domain Master creature abandon pride is somewhat to be proud of, but as they seek to form alliances, it would present challenges for the Insect Clan queen and his future, which is unfavorable, leaving him conflicted.

Of course, Jia Yan was unaware of these events.

Having escaped a calamity, his heart still lingered with fright.

So he flew continuously within the Tenth-degree Subspace.

Flying within the Tenth-degree Subspace is much safer, either requiring a Domain Master with Subspace Talent or a high-rank Galaxy Level existence capable of attacking him.

As for encountering such beings, the chances are slim and almost negligible, so Jia Yan doesn’t consider himself unlucky enough.

”Though truly dangerous, a Domain Master creature awaited somewhere to ambush me...”

Jia Yan, flying within the subspace Tenth-degree, felt his heart racing even now.

This is what happens in the Central Starfield of the Milky Way, things one wouldn’t encounter elsewhere.

Not just being ambushed by a Domain Master creature, but even bumping into one is quite rare externally.

After all, Domain Master creatures are extremely rare outside, unlike here, where casually flying might encounter one.

Counting this time, he’s been attacked twice by Domain Master creatures.

”This is indeed the Central Starfield of the Milky Way; seems I came to the right place. External pressure wouldn’t be so great.”

Jia Yan smiled slightly, shedding the tension and excitement; his heart was not fearful but rather elated.

Had he remained outside, he wouldn’t face such circumstances.

He knew against Domain Master creatures, his power was insignificant. It’s because he joined the Insect Clan queen’s forces that resulted in Domain Master level enemies.

”However, the earlier Domain Master creature should be regarded as the Insect Clan queen’s provocation, right? I never imagined I offended that one. In this Starry Sky, power struggles are extremely complex and dangerous, yet that’s what I desire, a future with enough powerful presence protecting my growth, alongside a certain prestige and space for quick advancement...”

Jia Yan pondered for a moment, then shifted his thoughts to the Insect Clan queen’s personnel.

”This Domain Master creature attack... I feel something odd. My information here is surely unknown to them. They don’t even know who I am, how could they suspect someone beside the Insect Clan queen, so... maybe someone leaked information!”

”Black sheep!? Or who?”

Jia Yan’s first guess immediately settled upon the black sheep.

Considering to him, the black sheep beside the Insect Clan queen poses the greatest threat, besides not seeming to like him much.

”The likelihood of the black sheep is high, being able to contact a Domain Master creature and convince him to attack requires considerable status near the Insect Clan queen.”

”Of course, other Galaxy Levels could be possible, given I’ve offended quite a few, or not offended but didn’t associate with them. Maybe that seems too arrogant to others.”

Jia Yan considered many people but reached confusion after further thought.

Earlier convinced it’s the black sheep, now unsure, eventually not understanding who.

”Forget it, I haven’t returned to their side for a long time now, unsure if the black sheep still holds sway, and if others still live, given many joined the battle, dying wouldn’t be odd, possibly even the black sheep perished. So these speculations are best confirmed upon returning there.”

Jia Yan pondered a while, then decided not to overthink.

He had left the Insect Clan queen’s side for a year or two. Don’t underestimate this period; even if Strong Ones live long lives, this time appeared at the most critical point, so he couldn’t guarantee major shifts around the Insect Clan queen occurred.

Thus aimless thoughts are pointless; going there would answer all.

”Hopefully it’s not the black sheep; if it is, things become difficult.”

Jia Yan hoped it wasn’t the black sheep behind this; if so, it indeed becomes troublesome.

Considering his current power doesn’t compare to the black sheep, lacking their prestige, returning there, if the black sheep truly holds a murderous intention against him, he’s endangered.

”Regardless of whether it is or not, I’d return for a look; if so, considering an opportunity to depart later might be wise, though the Insect Clan queen’s reaction then is uncertain.”
