Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Originally, they could have occupied this Starfield territory massively, bringing this Starfield entirely under their control in the Orion Arm, but they did not do so. Instead, they merely demanded reparations.

And the amount of these reparations turned out to be extremely reasonable.

So reasonable that the Starfield could accept it, without any negotiation needed.

Not only the Starfield that is most hostile to the Orion Arm, but also many surrounding Starfields were similar. Each of them received requests for war reparations from the Orion Arm.

None of these Starfields refused this compensation request because rejecting it would lead to the great war of the Orion Arm descending upon them.

As for the amount of compensation, many high-level figures in these Starfields seemed to find it very reasonable.

The monetary amount was certainly reasonable, and many of the demands weren’t uncomfortable.

This led many Starfields, or rather enemies, to suddenly praise the Orion Arm after being stunned.

They all said that the Orion Arm did not want to impose war upon the weak, having experienced pain themselves, and thanked the Orion Arm for their generosity and magnanimity.

Instantly, goodwill towards the Orion Arm increased significantly among many Starfields. Even those Starfields that were previously cautious about the Orion Arm’s potential expansion, not wanting more friendly relations, suddenly changed their attitude and began associating more positively with the Orion Arm.

Many internal personnel within these Starfields did not attribute this to Jia Yan’s situation, thinking that this powerful figure would sooner or later leave the Orion Arm, but at least not now.

They all believed it was the strategic policy formulated by the wise leadership within the Orion Arm to avoid aggression against other Starfields, aiming to establish good relations with surrounding Starfields. This made the entire Starfield area suddenly harmonious, and the Orion Arm gained a position akin to that of the Alliance Hierarch.

However, precisely at the moment when all the high-level officials of the Starfields surrounding the Orion Arm shared this belief...

The entity they thought would not leave the Orion Arm so quickly, in Subspace, chose a moment that would not attract any attention and quietly departed.

”So quickly left the Orion Arm’s range; the current Adisa has indeed improved a bit.”

Within Space, a creature carrying a large, peculiar backpack on its back glanced far behind at a Starfield.

That was the Orion Arm.

And this creature carrying the gigantic backpack, which was still spewing fire, was Jia Yan.

The backpack on his back was the ’Adisa,’ which had previously been sent to Kama for repair but was said to be irreparable and needed reconstruction.

At this time, the size of Adisa was still in the range of tens of kilometers, but since Jia Yan was too large, he could no longer enter Adisa. Therefore, after discussion with Jia Yan, Adisa was transformed into something resembling the function of its original master—a ’backpack.’

This backpack wasn’t just for storing items; it also had propulsion capabilities. The backpack provided exceedingly strong energy propulsion, moving Jia Yan forward, thus serving a certain battleship function.

To be honest, this was merely a choice for the underprivileged because any slightly powerful and wealthy expert would opt for a battleship with some riding comfort. But to create a battleship that could easily carry a creature of over thirty kilometers in size would be excessively expensive, possibly taking a long time even with the full strength of the entire Orion Arm to manufacture, along with consuming massive human and financial resources.

Therefore, after considering for a while, Jia Yan decided to abandon the construction of a battleship and instead chose a more suitable backpack method.

”I must say, this backpack is well made, allowing my speed in Subspace to suddenly increase. Moreover, could it be possible to create some combat method in conjunction with the backpack? Given its speed, there are many ways I can cooperate with it...”

Jia Yan suddenly thought of this while rushing forward.

But he quickly dismissed these thoughts.

”No, the Insect Queen already said, if I focus too much on such frivolous things, better to develop my own combat skills properly. Even if I only use a standard Yin Yang Tao Combat Method, it could still be stronger than it is now. Therefore, instead of developing new combat techniques, it’s better to completely master the current ones.”

”Of course, even if not deeply developed, a simple consideration might still be useful in the future.”

Jia Yan silently experienced the backpack, which was the blueprint of Adisa.

”Master, let me help you calculate.”

From inside Adisa came Adisa’s voice.

”Alright, you calculate.”

For this tiny Shadow Mosquito, Jia Yan felt quite relieved that it did not perish but remained inside this backpack, continuing to serve as an assistant. For Jia Yan, this held some commemorative significance.

Adisa was still very useful, holding some cultivation items, assisting in rapid interstellar travel, indeed a good assistant.

As for the Starfield that was now distant, the Orion Arm, it soon became a thing of the past for Jia Yan.

”I haven’t left the Orion Arm for a long time, not since the last Allied Army attack, it’s been years...”

Jia Yan silently gazed at the Starry Sky outside of Subspace, feeling eager about experiencing the external Starry Sky not visited for a long time.

The destination was the Insect Clan’s domain, the Insect Clan Domain.

This domain was over six thousand light-years away from Jia Yan’s location in the Orion Arm. While Jia Yan had visited even farther places, traveling six thousand light-years still represented considerable distance; light itself would take more than six thousand years to reach the Orion Arm.

Moreover, the Insect Clan Domain was geographically closer to the Milky Way Central, where energy is said to be more active, and the probability of strong individuals appearing is higher. Perhaps that’s why this domain could nurture an unrivaled Insect Queen in the surrounding area.

And now Jia Yan would travel to such a developed Starfield, even accompanying the Insect Queen to a place considered top-tier across the Milky Way—the Central Region of the Milky Way.

”Haha, the Insect Queen once said that the Milky Way Central is where the most geniuses and strong individuals are, and even Galaxy Level beings are commonplace. There, energy, cultivation methods, battle targets, and all kinds of advantages, will allow other geniuses to advance rapidly. I truly hope the Milky Way Central will be as the Insect Queen described; otherwise, I would be disappointed.”

Jia Yan silently recalled the words once spoken by the Insect Queen.

Then, he continued his wholehearted flight.

A distance of six thousand light-years must be traversed in three months...no, time has already been cut; healing took half a month. Now, carrying a half-healed body, time is running out. Two and a half months remain to reach the Insect Clan Domain, a challenging endeavor.

During these two and a half months, Jia Yan had to fully concentrate on flight. Although Adisa controlled the direction, Jia Yan wasn’t entirely sheltered by the battleship, leading to significant risk, requiring continuous observation.

These injuries might not even heal upon reaching the Insect Clan Domain, posing some risk for Jia Yan.

”However, I feel the Insect Queen wouldn’t call me just to kill me or anything. Her strength is truly remarkable, to the point where I feel hardly any chance of surpassing her. A being like her wouldn’t act so rashly.”

Jia Yan knew the Insect Queen was quite talented, possibly even more talented than himself.

But precisely because of this, that’s what attracted Jia Yan. He wanted to see if he could learn something from her, catch up, or even surpass the Insect Queen.

After all, Jia Yan had journeyed to this point without the tremendous domain power helping to progress, nor a truly good teacher. Even though Jia Yan came up with the Yin Yang Dao and other techniques himself, this resulted in a broader skill set but fewer specialties, leading everything to be relatively mediocre without any special ”Assassin.”
