”I really didn’t expect there to be so many people on the streets at this time. It’s not as lively as during the day, but it’s still okay. I really wonder if they don’t need to sleep at night?” Hiroshi said with a smile after he and Harumiko came to the street and saw many people.

Harumiko nodded with a smile. ”Of course. This is when everyone is most relaxed. There’s nothing to do, so of course they want to come out and have fun. Besides, it’s especially cool at night this season. Who wants to stay home? And there are so many fun places to go!”

Hiroshi felt that what Harumiko said made a lot of sense, so he nodded with a smile. ”I really can’t learn to live like that. After all, we still have a lot to do at this time. I don’t think we’ll have this much time after we join the ANBU!”

”You never know. Maybe after we join the ANBU, we won’t have much to do at first. In that case, we’ll still have a lot of time at night. It should be relatively easy when we first join the ANBU!” Harumiko retorted after hearing what Hiroshi said.

Hiroshi nodded with a smile. Then, the two of them walked towards Harumiko’s house together.

”This is so great. I feel like I’m in a dream. In the blink of an eye, we’re about to join the ANBU!” Hiroshi said with a smile, taking a deep breath of air.

Harumiko smiled slightly. ”I know, right? If we hadn’t won first place in the last competition, we wouldn’t have this opportunity! And if I hadn’t been on your team in the last competition, I wouldn’t have had the chance to join the ANBU!”

Hiroshi said with a smile, ”To be honest, when the competition started last time, I felt that it definitely wasn’t an ordinary training exercise, so I had to win first place!”

”Of course. It seems like Hiroshi is really smart!” Harumiko said with a smile.

”Oh, I wonder if the ANBU masks are randomly assigned or if we get to choose them,” Hiroshi said with a smile.

Harumiko started thinking after hearing what Hiroshi said. She suddenly realized that if the masks were randomly assigned, there would be no choice. If they got to choose, they would have to pick their favorite masks.

”To be honest, the mask is really important to me. I really hope we get to choose our own masks so I can pick one I like. If they’re randomly assigned, there’s nothing we can do!” Harumiko said to Hiroshi with a smile after thinking for a while.

Hiroshi nodded with a smile. ”Oh well, we still don’t know much about the ANBU. Let’s wait until tomorrow afternoon. Then we’ll know what the deal is with the masks!”
