Naruto: Adopted Son of Minato

Chapter 20: NASM: Chapter 20

”Alright, alright, what are you two talking about? We were having such a nice time, and now you’ve made me feel a bit sad. Let’s just eat and stop talking so much!” Minato chuckled, touching his nose.

Uzumaki Hiroshi and Kushina smiled at Minato’s words and resumed eating.

Every woman dreams of a family like this: a warm dinner with her husband and child. How wonderful.

Uzumaki Hiroshi knew Minato and Kushina would die in a few days, leaving Naruto as his only family. He wouldn’t be able to eat Kushina’s cooking again.

The thought saddened him.

In his past life, he was an orphan. He’d finally found a family here, only to lose his parents again. It was a shame.

But he was powerless to change fate. All he could do was make Naruto’s world a little less cruel, knowing Naruto still had him.

”Forget it, it’s not the time to think about this. Let’s just see what happens. Maybe something will change when the Nine-Tailed Fox attacks Konoha,” Uzumaki Hiroshi thought, shaking his head slightly as he ate.

The Naruto world, at least this era, was cruel. Countless families were torn apart; losing parents and children was commonplace.

Uzumaki Hiroshi had always been mature and obedient, never worrying his adoptive parents. Lacking natural talent, he trained alone in his room, resulting in few friends.

The family of three ate in the courtyard for over an hour before finishing the meal.

”I can’t eat another bite! My stomach is so full! I haven’t had such delicious food in ages,” Uzumaki Hiroshi said, patting his stomach and smiling.

”Ding! Congratulations, host, your good mood increased your experience by +10.”

”Ding! Host’s stamina has fully recovered!”

Uzumaki Hiroshi’s lips curved into a smile at the system’s messages.

Just like in games where paying makes you invincible, Uzumaki Hiroshi was in that state.

Even without training, he wouldn’t get weaker because of the system, which constantly increased his experience and chakra.

”Alright, you two sit and rest for a bit. I’ll clean up the dishes,” Minato said, standing up and smiling.

”Uncle Minato, let me help!” Uzumaki Hiroshi stood up, smiling. He was a very considerate child.

Minato shook his head with a smile. ”Alright, kiddo, stay and keep your aunt company. I’ll clean up.”
