Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1307  Two Paths

Unaware of what kind of trouble his disciple had ended up causing only shortly after she had wandered out of the forest that he had deemed to be safe for her to train inside of by herself, Xuan Hao arrived back at the third celestial gate. Soon finding himself back in front of the tower of secrets that he had been forced to leave behind earlier due to insufficient celestial coins.

Now that he had managed to get his hands on 38 celestial coins, he could not only get his hands on the information related to the Dao Domain Lord Realm but would also be able to get a few powerful heaven rank combat techniques. One of which he had already decided would be a movement technique that didnʼt involve the Dao of Space, as he needed a proper movement technique that could also be used while space was sealed.

Outside of that, he didnʼt have any clue about what kind of other combat techniques he could get, but getting the ones related to the Dao of Space seemed like a good idea, as he didnʼt really have any ways to fight with the Dao of Space outside of the spatial collapse that drained most of his strength whenever he used it.

”Hello, Trial Participant, would you like to enter the tower of secrets?”

Going over what kind of combat techniques he should choose inside the tower of secrets; Xuan Hao was momentarily taken aback by the preservation golem standing in front of the tower of secrets suddenly speak up.

However, he quickly calmed down and nodded his head in agreement, causing the preservation golem to move to the side as it opened up the door to the tower before signaling for him to go in first.

”Thank you…” Only able to smile a bit wryly at the formal gesture from the preservation golem, Xuan Hao didnʼt waste any time as he stepped inside the tower of secrets before directly making his way up towards the floor that the scroll with information on the Dao Domain Lord Realm was located.

No matter what kind of combat technique he ended up finding in the end, he would first have to get his hands on the information about the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Not only for himself, but also for the future Dao Domain Lords that might develop in the Star Shattering Sect.

[The Precarious Journey, a look into the Dao Domain Lord Realm]

[Price: 8 Celestial Coins]

Finding himself back on the second floor in front of the scroll that he had been looking for, Xuan Hao was about to reach down and grab the scroll when he suddenly remembered the words of preservation golem when he had first arrived at the tower of secrets regarding the killing formations guarding the tower of secrets.

How… Was he supposed to pay with his celestial coins…?

”To buy any scroll or book within the tower of secrets, you just need to state your intention to do so. If your celestial coins are insufficient, you will be reminded to place the scroll or book back in its original location.”

Seemingly sensing the confusion on Xuan Haoʼs face as he had already turned around about to ask it, the preservation golem answered before he even had a chance to do so.

”I… I want to buy this!” Feeling a bit taken aback that the preservation golem had managed to guess what he was about to say, Xuan Hao calmed down before picking up the scroll with information on the Dao Domain Lord Realm and stating his intention to buy it.

”Order accepted; total remaining balance is 30 celestial coins. You can safely store the scroll for later reading or use a reading corner to look through it.” In response, the preservation golemʼs eyes shone for a brief moment before saying this. Returning to its normal emotionless state the next second as it pointed at a small chair and table located close to the walls of the second floor of the tower.

”Guess I will look through it first before finding something to use the rest of my celestial coins on.” Already feeling overwhelmed with curiosity regarding the later stages of the Dao Domain Lord Realm that was still unexplored territory, Xuan Hao followed the preservation golems recommendation and went to sit down at the reading table located at the edge.

”A look into the Dao Domain Lord Realm… Iʼm already starting to feel a bit excited…” Muttering this to himself as he placed the scroll down on the table in front of him, Xuan Hao cautiously unfurled it with an excited and nervous expression on his face.

Excited because he might soon figure out how to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, while he felt nervous that the scroll was written in a language far too ancient for him to understand, a risk he had considered, but had decided to take considering the importance of the information.

”Not written in ancient language!” Only after seeing the first few lines in a language that he could understand, did he breathe a sigh of relief.

Although the language used to write the scroll wasnʼt the same as the one currently in use on the Ewaria Continent, it wasnʼt that different and was easy to read through with his already rather extensive research into the ancient language that had been used in the ancient past.

So, with nothing to stop him, Xuan Hao happily began to read through the scroll…

Reading through the scroll, Xuan Hao realized that the Dao Domain Lord Realm was far from as simple as he had first suspected.

First of all, reaching the Dao Domain Lord Realm wasnʼt just about merging two different domains together in the Domain Lord Realm and reaching the Dao Domain Lord Realm this way. Instead, there were other ways to reach the Dao Domain Lord Realm that involved comprehending a single dao, the most used one according to the scroll being comprehending a single dao to the Small Success Realm in the Domain Lord Realm and using a special method to evolve it into a Dao Domain.

However, due to the difficulty of comprehending a dao to the Small Success Realm in the Domain Lord Realm, it was obvious that only the most brilliant geniuses decided to try and follow the path of establishing a dao domain.

Not just that, but the method of essentially smashing to domains together and forcibly creating a dao domain this way, was considered an outdated and suicidal method of reaching the Dao Domain Lord Realm, as the chance of death doing so was high.

Outside of that, the method of reaching the Middle and Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm wasnʼt much different from what he knew, with the only difference being that there now was a different method for those choosing to focus on a single dao instead of multiple Daos like he had done.

Following that path, one had to comprehend the chosen dao to the Large Success Realm to reach the Middle Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and the Perfection Realm to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

In turn, to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm following the path of a single dao, one would have to reach the Origin Realm in said dao. After which one would be able to directly break through to the Profound Immortal Realm.

Thinking about it, Xuan Hao realized that the holy son he had read about in the Land Creation Realm should be a genius who had broken through to the Profound Immortal Realm after he reached the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm by comprehending the Dao of Fire to the Origin Realm.

However, this method of reaching the Peak of the dao domain lord realm was ultimately not suitable for him, as he had chosen the method of merging different Daos together into his dao domain and strengthen it this way.

Although this method wasnʼt in any way inferior according to the information recorded in the scroll, it was far more troublesome, as one would have to comprehend multiple Daos instead of just focusing on a single dao.

Not that Xuan Hao could do anything about it, as he could already be considered set on the path, he had unknowingly chosen to go through the Dao Domain Lord Realm…

With that in mind, Xuan Hao glanced down towards the section related to the path of merging different Daos into his dao domain and how to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm with this method and in turn reach the Profound Immortal Realm.

”This… How is this even possible!?”

However, as he glanced over the requirements for reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he could not help silently cursing to himself as he began regretting the fact that he had even decided to go through the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the first place…
