Chapter 1082 Crazy Earth Immortal Realm Experts, a True Fight to the Death!

?

Boom!

Hearing the sound of the battle between what he assumed to be the Earth Immortal who had crashed into the ground a short distance away from the town and the Earth Immortal Realm Expert who should have been responsible for knocking him into the ground, Xuan Hao decided to take the long way around the place where the battle was taking place.

Although he could not see the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts in question, he didnʼt want to, as it would mean that they would also be able to notice him… And such a situation might end up causing him to get involved in their fight.

Not so much because they would want to involve him, but because one of the two people had blatantly attacked someone from the Blue Sea Empire inside of their territory and undoubtedly wanted no one to spread the news. At least that was what he could conclude about the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts from the loud roar that the person who had landed beside the town had made before rushing back to continue the battle.

Escaping from the Blue Sea Empire the way he had come from was also an option, but after thinking it through, he realized that he would never reach his location if he ended up running away every time, he encountered someone in the Earth Immortal Realm.

After all, just from the fact that he had already encountered two at the border between the inner region and the outer region of the Blue Sea Empire, it was obvious that he would encounter far more of them in the future.

With this in mind, he instead came to the decision of just keeping his distance whenever encountering someone in the Earth Immortal Realm.

Of course, that didnʼt mean rapidly escaping whenever he saw someone in the Earth Immortal Realm as that might end up drawing unwanted attention instead of helping him stay out of view of these experts.

The only reason he had done so this time around was because the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts in question were already busy fighting with each other and didnʼt have time to pay attention to anyone trying to run away from their battle.

Even if he had used the Dao of Space and escaped at a speed far greater than what was possible by someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, it was clear that none of the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts had noticed this due having their full attention focused on each other. Different from what would happen in case he ended up running into an Earth Immortal Realm Expert inside a city or just someone who werenʼt putting their life on the line for a battle to the death like the one that was taking place not too far away from him…

Thinking about it as he moved around the place that the battle was taking place, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit curious as to what had ended up causing these two Earth Immortals to enter a life and death battle.

All things considered, one of them was after all from the Blue Sea Empire and should be able to just run away and wait for reinforcements, there was no need for him to stay around and continue fighting to the death… And although he had no idea about the identity of the second Earth Immortal Realm Expert, he understood that the best course of action for this person would be to escape from the Blue Sea Empire as fast as possible.

After all, even if he did end up victorious at the end of the battle, he would undoubtedly end up in a weakened state. Giving the reinforcements from the Blue Sea Empire more than enough time to catch up with him and kill him before he had a chance to escape from the Blue Sea Empire.

The only way he could safely escape in this kind of situation, would be through the use of a teleportation talisman… And even then, he might still not be safe depending on whether or not someone skilled in the Dao of Space was among the reinforcements and decided to chase after him through the spatial traces left behind by using a teleportation talisman. Similar to how he had ended up at the Blue Sea Empire when chasing after the core disciple of the Heavenly Dragon Temple.

”No matter what, it seems like a bad option for both of them to continue fighting like this…”

Concluding that it was indeed a battle without any value to continue, Xuan Hao could not help wondering if there was something he was not thinking about, like a personal grudge or a precious ancient relic of some kind that might be the reason behind the fight continuing.

”DIIIIE!”

BOOOOOOM-!

Just at this moment, a loud roar filled with killing intent echoed out from the direction of the battle between the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts. Followed by an even large explosion compared to before, causing even Xuan Hao standing far away from the battle to stop and use his domain to protect himself from the residual energy from the powerful attack.

If not for the fact that the battle itself had moved further in the direction of the inner region of the Blue Sea Empire over the past few minutes, the residual energy from the attack just now would undoubtedly have flattened the town that had just managed to escape death not too long ago.

Although, considering the strength of the residual energy, some of it should still have reached the town… And considering that the Soul Ascension Realm Expert who was tasked with guarding the town had already run away, it was doubtful whether or not the Domain Lord Realm Experts still left in the city would be able to resist the small bit of residual energy that reached them…

Shaking his head as he thought about the fate of the town that had encountered one disaster after the other, Xuan Hao turned his attention back on the place where the fight between the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts was taking place.

In spite of the fact that he couldnʼt observe the battle due to being too far away, he could still sense the state of the battle to some extent through terrifying energy fluctuations that happened whenever they clashed with each other.

It was through this that he was able to clearly sense the strength of both Earth Immortals rapidly decreasing following the big clash just now. Showing that they had both exhausted a rather large part of their strength in the terrifying clash earlier.

”Huh?”

As he slowly continued to make his way around the battlefield between the two, Xuan Hao could not help freezing on the spot when he suddenly sensed the strength used by the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts decreasing all the way down to the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm.

What in the world are those two thinking… For their strength to decrease to such a degree, did they perhaps use a forbidden technique to burn their lifespan and enhance their strength earlier and are currently suffering from the side effects?

Feeling a sense of bewilderment over the situation as he thought about this, Xuan Hao continued looking in the direction of the two Earth Immortals whose strength was now in the process of dropping from the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm to that of a normal Sixth Tribulation Soul Ascension Realm Expert.

Even if they were fighting to the death for some kind of precious artifact or opportunity to increase their strength, it shouldnʼt be to the degree that they would sacrifice their own lifespan and cultivation base.

No matter how great the opportunity might be, doing this would give some of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts who had drawn over and were observing the fight a chance to go for this opportunity as well.

”If thatʼs the case, the only reason I can think about behind all of this is a personal grudge. Nothing else would justify this kind of self-destructive behavior…” Muttering this to himself as he concluded the reason behind the fight between the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts, Xuan Hao felt far more at ease compared to before.

Not only because the two were clearly not interested in anything other than killing each other, but also because their strength was no longer at a level where it posed a threat to him. On the other hand, if they continued like this, he might become strong enough to kill both of them by himself…

Of course, he didnʼt dare to do something like that. Even if the treasures and wealth of an Earth Immortal Realm Expert might be tempting, one of them was still from the Blue Sea Empire.

Not to mention, a large number of Soul Ascension Realm Experts had already started to appear around the place where the battle was taking place, some who were almost certainly here for that exact reason and wouldnʼt allow anyone to succeed before them…
