Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 788 Shocked Imperial Guards

Even if it was only for a short moment, the leader of the imperial guard had clearly sensed that the demonic cultivator that had just landed not too far away from him was in the Third Demonic Transformation Realm.

Although he could not be certain about just how strong this demonic cultivator was among Third Demonic Transformation Realm demonic cultivators, he was sure that another one showing up would not be a good thing considering his current situation-

Swish-!

BOOOM!

But before he had a chance to do anything the demonic cultivator that had just appeared out of nowhere, was directly killed before it had a chance to do anything, causing the leader of the imperial guards to freeze up on the spot as he could only speechlessly look in the place where there had been a powerful demonic cultivator just a second earlier.

””...””

Not unlike their leaderʼs reaction, the two other Domain Lord Realm Experts present also had a similar expression of shock appear on their faces. However, different from their leader who had been right beside the attack just now, they had no idea that the sword had come from someone different and only thought that their leader had managed to make some kind of breakthrough during the fight and managed to use this sudden increase in strength to catch the new demonic cultivator by surprise and instantly kill off the other party before he had a chance to react.

Roar...?

Different from the leader of the imperial guards and the two other Domain Lord Realm Experts from the Sky Empire, the demonic cultivator who was hovering in the air in front of the leader of the imperial guards let out a panicked roar filled with fear after seeing the death of a demonic cultivator that had reached the Third Demonic Transformation Realm.

Even without having a chance to see who the person responsible for the attack was, the demonic cultivator understood that their current situation had taken a turn for the worse, as another powerful expert from the Sky Empire seemed to have shown up.

As for the death of the demonic cultivator who had just shown up? The demonic cultivator in question didnʼt really care much about it. The only thing that mattered, was the fact that another powerful human cultivator had shown up to help fight them!

ROOOOOOAR-!

Whoosh~!

Understanding very well there would be no way for them to hold back four Domain Lord Realm Experts with only three people, the demonic cultivator didnʼt waste a single second before rapidly retreating back into the deeper parts of the Frozen Wasteland after a warning the other two powerful demonic cultivator that had come with him to intercept the three powerful Domain Lord Realm Experts in an attempt for them to enter the Sky Empire.

Roaaar~

ROAR!

Swish-!

Swish-!

Not long after the demonic cultivator facing the leader of the imperial guards began escaping back towards the Frozen Wastelands, the other two Third Demonic Transformation Realm demonic cultivators also began rapidly retreating-

”Wha-!?”

”Why are they retreating... Were they perhaps scared off just now...?”

Not understanding why the two demonic cultivators had directly turned around before escaping back towards the Frozen Wasteland after witnessing the death of the demonic cultivator that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, the two Domain Lord Realm Experts could only look at each other in confusion as they gazed in the direction that the demonic cultivators were escaping in.

Given the fact that they had been caught off guard earlier by their sudden escape and had no way to chase them into the more dangerous parts of the Frozen Wasteland with their current strength, the two Domain Lords quickly made their way towards their leader. Wanting to find out just what had caused these demonic cultivator to escape so quickly....

”Looks like there is no need for me to stay here any longer...”

However, just as they were about to ask their leader about what had happened, an unfamiliar voice echoed above them, causing both the two Domain Lord Realm Experts who were still in a state of confusion and shock, together with their leader, to turn their attention towards the source of the unfamiliar voice.

”You are...”

Being the first to spot the handsome looking older man that had appeared in the air not too far away from them at some point in time, the leader of the imperial guards could not help narrowing both of his eyes as he inspected the other party.

”Greetings Senior!”

Even without sensing his cultivation base, it was obvious that the other party was someone in the Domain Lord Realm... And given the fact that he had been able to easily kill off a demonic cultivator who had reached the Third Demonic Transformation Realm just now, the leader of the imperial guards understood that the person in question should at the very least be someone in the later stages of the Domain Lord Realm. Maybe even someone who had reached the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm!

For this reason alone, the leader of the imperial guards did not dare peep at the other partyʼs cultivation base and also made sure that the other two Domain Lords would not do something stupid by informing them about everything that had just happened through his divine sense.

After all, there was no way for him to know that the demonic cultivator in question was already at deaths door after having exhausted part of his lifespan and all of his energy just after having broken through to the Third Demonic Transformation Realm...

””Greetings Senior!””

Learning that the person who had appeared was actually a powerful senior Domain Lord who had managed to instantly kill off a Third Demonic Transformation Realm demonic cultivator, the two Domain Lords who had only recently reached the Domain Lord Realm themselves could not help shivering as they quickly retracted their divine sense and stopped themselves before they inspected the other party.

The last thing they wanted right now was to offend this mysterious senior who had suddenly shown up all of a sudden!

”Hm? Greetings to you three as well, you donʼt have to mind me, I just came here because that demonic cultivator entered the territory of my sect and started causing chaos...”

Not expecting the group of Domain Lords from the Sky Empire to be so polite in front of him and even go as far as to respectfully address him as senior, Feng Chen could not help smiling happily before he said this while imitating Elder Songʼs usual sage like demeanour.

Hm? Entered the territory of your sect? How come I never heard about such a powerful sect before...?

Hearing what Feng Chen said, the leader of the imperial guards could not help feeling happy before a frown appeared on his face after hearing the last part of what Feng Chen said.

”Your sect...? Senior... If you donʼt mind me asking, what sect are you from? I donʼt seem to remember any sect with a Domain Lord Realm in it around this place... Ah! A-are you perhaps from the Star Shattering Sect...?”

”Yes! Have you perhaps heard about us before!?”

”Yes... We all had the opportunity to encounter a Grand Elder of your sect on our way here... Hm... But it doesnʼt look like we managed to get his name back then...”

”You are talking about Grand Elder Xuan, he should be the only Grand Elder currently outside the sectʼs territory at the moment! Now that I think about it, how was he doing? Did he perhaps say anything to you when you met him?”

”He was doing fine and didnʼt seem troubled or anything, as for things he said... he told us to leave the Azure Sky Kingdom alone when we dealt with the demonic cultivators and-”

As the leader of the group of imperial guards started talking with Feng Chen about his encounter from a few weeks earlier with Grand Elder Xuan and a few other things, the leader of the group of imperial guards could not help feeling increasingly shocked as he realized that the Star Shattering Sect was far more powerful than he had first expected.

Outside of the Grand Elder he had already encountered, it also looked like there were far more powerful experts inside the Star Shattering Sect, the Sect Master in front of him had even directly mentioned another Grand Elder in their short conversation!

Even if this Grand Elder was not at the same level as Grand Elder Xuan, the other party should still be close to the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm! Three Peak Domain Lord Realm Experts had suddenly appeared out of nowhere!

Not to mention, when he secretly inquired about the structure of the sect, it seemed like there was a level even above that of a Grand Elder, a sect ancestor!

Given that even the Grand Elderʼs of the sect had reached the Domain Lord Realm, the leader of the imperial guards could easily imagine how powerful the ancestors of such a powerful sect would be!

At the very least they should be Soul Ascension Realm Experts!

I have to return to his majesty and inform him about this immediately... But I still have to deal with these demonic cultivators... And my high quality communication talisman got destroyed earlier when the demonic cultivator managed to damage my interspatial ring...

”Well then, I will take my leave for now. Good luck dealing with the rest of the demonic cultivators here!”

”Ah! Wai-”

Lost in thought as he was thinking about whether to stay and deal with the demonic cultivators or rush back to the capital, Feng Chen had already finished what he came from and quickly began making his way back towards the Star Shattering Sect now that everything had been dealt with before the leader of the imperial guards could react.

Well... At least it doesnʼt look like informing his majesty about this is too urgent...

Watching as Feng Chen disappeared in the distance, the leader of the imperial guards let out a silent sigh. Given how kind the sect master of this mysterious sect was, he didnʼt feel like it was urgent to report this matter before dealing with the demonic cultivators.

At most it would take them a year or two before the matter was finished. Not much would be able to change in such a short period of time...
