Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 443 - Yi Minʼs Arrival, End Of The Demonic Rat!

”That should be it for the demonic cultivator!”

Following a short one-sided battle after the demonic cultivator was hit by the lightning arrow, Yi Min found herself standing in front of what remained of the demonic cultivator. The surrounding cave around her just barely being held up by her domain. Preventing it from collapsing on top of her.

”I Wonder how things are going back on the surface…”

Muttering this to herself as she remembered how she had asked a relatively unfamiliar Domain Lord she had only met today behind to inform her in case anything happened, Yi Min could not bother staying around any longer, as she quickly rushed out of the underground cave towards the surface.

Rumble~

After Yi Min left, the underground cave that had increased in size following the battle between Yi Min and the demonic cultivator, could no longer remain as it quickly collapsed. Burying whatever remained inside the underground cave beneath large amounts of earth that came crashing down from above.

As for Xuan Hao informing Yi Min about his current struggle with the demonic rat? He simply did not have the time to do so, as the demonic rat might have used the time, he contacted Yi Min to devour the two currently useless Domain Lords…

…

Back on the surface just outside the barrier protecting the capital from any of the damage brought along by the fight taking place just a few dozen meters away from the walls, Xuan Hao was barely holding up against the demonic ratʼs relentless attacks.

Even if the demonic rat had gotten injurie during the fight with General Guan and Zi Hui, it was constantly healing whatever wounds was inflicted on it in a short period of time. Given that not even General Guan and Zi Hui could inflict any serious injuries on the demonic rat, Xuan Hao had even less success on truly injuring the demonic rat.

All he could do was take the beating by the oversized rodent while making sure not to approach the two useless Domain Lords at the side…

Bang!

Blocking another simple yet powerful claw attack from the demonic rat, Xuan Hao was once again sent flying backwards, as he quickly stabilized himself mid-air before a frown appeared on his face.

From the clash just now, Xuan Hao clearly felt that the strength of the demonic rat had once again increased by a small margin! Even worse, he knew that he would not be able to clash with the demonic rat with his current injuries, or he might risk losing his life like the subordinate of General Guan!

”Hah…”

Letting out a short sigh as he realized this, Xuan Hao knew that he would not be able to hold the demonic rat back for any longer.

Whoosh~

So, before the demonic rat charged at him again, Xuan Hao quickly retreated back behind the barrier surrounding the capital for safety, while glancing over in the direction of the two useless Domain Lords.

Or… One Domain Lord…

Sometime during his fighting, it seemed like the subordinate of General Guan had managed to recover. Escaping from the scene while he still had the chance to do so.

The only person currently remaining was the elderly Domain Lord, who was currently completely engulfed in a demonic aura as his darkness domain was on full display for everyone to see.

The main thing standing out was that the domain itself began changing while the demonic aura grew stronger and stronger with each passing second. Slowly overpowering the elderly Domain Lordʼs original aura, as the demonic aura merged together with the elderly Domain Lordʼs own…

Not only that, but the domain of the elderly Domain Lord also began to show large changes, as the area around the elderly Domain Lord was devastated by the darkness domain seemingly going out of control. Destroying the everything around the elderly Domain Lord.

Roar?

The demonic rat who was just about to jump towards Xuan Hao no hidden behind the barrier for another attack, was also alarmed by the change in the elderly Domain Lord, as its attention shifted away from Xuan Hao and towards the elderly Domain Lord in the process of developing his very own mental demon…

Roar!

Though different from Xuan Hao who was just observing the entire thing from the side, the demonic rat did not think this way, as it directly attacked the elderly Domain Lord.

”Hm… It seems to have grown stronger since last… By the way, where did General Guan go?”

Just as the demonic rat was about to charge over and attack the elderly Domain Lord, a curious voice drifted out from behind him, as Xuan Hao quickly turned around already knowing the identity of the other party.

”Yi Min, you are back! Ah, General Guan already ran away earlier when-”

Explaining what had happened while she was gone. Not forgetting to explain how the demonic rat had grown stronger after devouring one of General Guanʼs two subordinates, Xuan Hao watched on from the side as an expression of disgust slowly appeared on her face upon hearing how General Guan had abandoned his subordinate to the demonic rat while running away.

”Hah… There is no use thinking about General Guan now that he has already run away… For now, the most important thing should be to deal with the giant rodent before it grows any stronger!”

Letting out a sigh as she shook her head slightly, Yi Min focused her attention onto the demonic rat who had similarly come to a stop upon sensing her arrival.

Even if the current demonic rat was not the smartest demonic beast out there, it could still sense how dangerous Yi Min was! Compared to General Guan and Zi Hui who it had fought earlier, the demonic rat could very clearly feel that Yi Min was stronger than the two of them…

In the end, this had caused the demonic rat to freeze up, as it began to cautiously observe Yi Min. Not daring to be the slightest bit careless!

At this point, it had already completely forgotten about the elderly Domain Lord located only a few hundred meters away.

”Haha, it seems like our big friend also noticed my arrival.”

Not the least bit taken aback by the fact that the demonic rat had discovered her this time around, Yi Min smiled brightly towards the demonic rat before stepping out of the barrier. Ready to face off against the demonic rat.

”…”

Seeing how things were playing out, Xuan Hao knew that he would not have to find his disciple and the elders who came along with him to escape before the demonic rat recovered its strength to the Soul Ascension Realm…

For now, it looked like he could sit back and watch the fight between Yi Min and the demonic rat play out, while recovering from the injuries he had suffered from his short fight with the demonic rat.

At least he managed to get a better grasp over his current strength and also ca me to understand where he could improve. From his lack of a good movement technique to the fact that he still fought without a weapon. Instead fighting with the sword manifested through the power of his two domains, Xuan Hao fully understood how to improve his strength after returning to the sect.

Hopefully the quest given to him by the system would be considered to have been completed. Even if he didnʼt kill the demonic rat himself...

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao felt even more anticipation towards the battle between Yi Min and the demonic rat. Not only would he be able to witness Yi Minʼs strength, but he would also be able to solve his immediate lack of a good movement technique!

However, things did not play out like Xuan Hao had first expected them to, with both Yi Min and the demonic rat clashing in an epic manner before Yi Min would finally emerge victories.

Instead…

Whoosh!

The fight ended before it even got started, with Yi Min summoning a giant black vortex that stopped the demonic rat from moving before a dozen or so terrifying daggers appeared out of thin air and easily pierced into the demonic rat. Directly rendering it close to death in one easy motion.

Roar!

Even the demonic rat had not expected for things to go like this, as it roared angrily before Yi Min ended the short battle by using a way too large axe to cut the demonic rat along with its soul in half. Instantly killing the demonic rat before it could even muster up a counterattack!

The demonic rat that both General Guan and Zi Hui had struggled with, was easily taken care of by Yi Min…

Remembering that both General Guan and Zi Hui should at least have reached the later stages of the Domain Lord Realm, if not the peak of the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao had a feeling that Yi Min might already have surpassed the Domain Lord Realm!
