SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Elsa stood in the center of the throne room with her eyes shut.

The silence stretched for a few seconds, and then she heard it. The beat of wings, three sets of them, tearing through the air from three different directions.

’They are coming.’

She did not move until the very last second. Then she swung her sword and unleashed a slash through the air.

CLANG!

Three swords collided with hers in a massive explosion. The shockwave hurled her backward, and her boots dragged against the floor as she skidded, but she did not stop. She planted her foot and pushed herself back up.

The throne room did not have much space. It was limited, but it was enough for her to work with.

She flapped her wings and lifted off the ground. She shot forward fast, headed straight for the angel on the left. She did not need her eyes. Its sound, its energy, and the way it moved through the air told her exactly where it was. She came in with a full slash.

The angel raised its sword and blocked.

BOOM!

A shockwave ripped out from the clash and slammed into the walls around them. Cracks spread through the stone, and dust rained down from the ceiling.

’Two more.’

She sensed them already, the other two coming fast from either side with their teleport-like speed. She flapped hard and pulled backward, retreating just as they collided where she had stood. She barely escaped their attacks.

Her feet touched the ground and she opened her mouth. A stream of black flames shot out and twisted through the air, rushing toward them. One angel came forward and spread its six wings, blocking the flames with them, the fire crashing against its feathers and scattering in every direction.

While it blocked, the other two came in from the left and the right at the same time.

She did not stop. She gripped her sword and pivoted on the ground, spinning in a vortex. A massive vortex of flames wrapped around her and spread outward as she turned, slamming into both angels and hurling them across the room into the wall.

CRASH!

She gave chase immediately. She flew toward one of them and began to hack down on it at full force, slashing with everything she had. It blocked the first attack and the second, but her third slash blasted its hand open, its sword falling loose. She thrust her blade forward and drove it deep into its shoulder.

The angel struggled against her. She kept pushing, and it was forced deeper and deeper into the wall until it was pinned there.

Behind her, she heard the other two coming at the same time.

She let go of her sword. It stayed impaled in the angel and the wall. She dropped to the ground, retreated backward, and flew low, under both angels as they came in hot. She came up behind them and unleashed a wide burst of flames toward their backs.

She did all of it with her eyes closed.

’The moment I open them, it is over.’

The angels turned and blocked the flames to protect themselves. But she had already gone around the corner of the room, and a new blade was in her hand. She came in fast, and she did not slash with it.

She hurled it.

The blade cut through the air and stabbed into the middle of one angel’s head, going deep. The angel was knocked backward and crashed to the floor.

With that one down, she was able to close the distance on the last one. She grabbed her first sword on the way and ripped it free from the shoulder of the angel she had pinned. It slumped against the wall, too weak to follow. She spun with the blade and began to unleash a barrage of attacks on the last angel, one slash after another, forcing her way through its defense. It staggered, and its guard broke.

She planted her feet. She opened her mouth and unleashed a compressed breath of flames.

WHOOSH!

It slammed into the angel’s chest, blasted straight through, and came out the other side. The angel’s body stiffened and then fell.

Behind her, the angel with the blade in its head was turning around. She sensed it and spun back to face it. She flew toward it and kicked the sword in its head even deeper, pinning it against the ground. Then she raised her other sword and decapitated it.

SLASH!

The head rolled across the floor.

Only one was left.

She turned toward the wall where it still hung, her breathing heavy. She had gone all out just now, and every part of her was tired. She walked over to it slowly. It tried to move, but it was too weak.

”This is for them,” she said quietly. ”I hope you rot in whatever hell exists for you.”

She swung her sword.

SLASH!

The head fell to the floor, and the body dropped from the wall.

Elsa stood there for a moment, breathing in and out. Then, finally, she opened her eyes.

The throne room was a ruin. Cracks ran across the walls and the floor, and scorched marks covered the stone. The bodies of the weeping angels lay scattered across the ground, right beside those of the guardians.

”That was a lot.” She muttered. Those angels had killed some of the strongest beings around, the guardians, and she could sense a lot more of them outside, was there really a world where they won this?

She walked back to her throne and sat down, she stabbed her sword into the ground and leaned over,

”Where are you father, we really need your help right now”

As she said that, Drake and Lily sudden dropped into the Lowest floor of the dungeon and walked into the throne room.

They saw the bodies on the ground and then they saw Elsa on the throne. Else looked up at them, their eyes meeting,
