SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

After the final bets were placed, Silva knew that the real aspect of the fight had begun. He closed his eyes for a second while Gara was looking right at him.

Gara saw this, and immediately rage filled his heart. His opponent dared to close his eyes in front of him.

“I’ll make sure you pay for that.” His voice thundered.

‘How many times have I heard that now, tch, I really miss home, I want to go back and see everyone, but I’m too weak now, that’s why I’m here and that is why I’m going to destroy everything weaker than me.’ His eyes opened immediately, he looked at Gara.

“I’ll ensure that I use you as stairs and climb all the way to my success, that’s simply what I’m going to do.” Silva muttered.

BOOM!

Gara attacked again, pushing off the ground with an explosive force that shattered where he stood. He was faster than before this time, and the rage in his eyes could be seen, he wanted to cut Silva down.

“Let’s see how you evade this.” Gara yelled, his sword erupted in a massive flame, crimson and powerful, the flames brought the temperature of the entire auditorium up in an instant.

Silva could feel the intensity from where he stood, but fire was never really an issue when it came to him now. He smirked.

“That’s not a flame, this is.” As he said that line, he pointed his hands forward and a black flame formed at the palm of his hand.

“Abyss flames powered by divine energy,” Silva muttered, the flames compressed instantly, becoming extremely small in his palm, and then he fired at the incoming Gara.

BANG!

The flame ripped through the air like a gunshot, extremely fast, there was no way Gara could dodge it, but he underestimated the attack. He used one of his scaly hands, assuming that he would be able to block the attack.

Sadly, his thinking was terrible.

BAM

The moment the attack slammed into his arm, the blast was so powerful that it completely ripped off the left hand of Gara.

Gara looked at that hand, confusion written all over his face as blood gushed from his arm, his eyes widened with shock and disbelief.

“What? What the hell?” He screamed.

The entire auditorium burst into chatter, disbelief flowed through everyone, they had never thought in their lives that something like this would ever happen.

In the crowd, Silva’s group sat there watching.

“He just chopped off the hand of a demigod,” Aris stated, stunned himself.

“Yeah, that’s expected, seems Silva is finally getting serious.” Lily said, a soft smile on her face.

“Wait what?” Aris asked in shock, looking at her for an explanation.

“Master has never gone all out, well except when he saved our planet from other versions of himself.” Drake said, he leaned in, “right now, Master is simply fighting for the fun of it.”

Aris looked at Silva again, “so he really is that powerful?” Aris asked.

“Indeed,” Drake replied.

At the same time on the arena, Gara was still looking at his arm full of disbelief, he looked up at Silva.

“You bloody bastard, how dare you use tricks on me, how dare you?” He roared like a wild man.

“Tricks?” Silva said with a cheeky smile, locking eyes with Gara. “I simply attacked.”

Gara’s fury boiled over.

His grip tightened around his sword, his one remaining hand trembling, not from weakness, but from pure rage. Blood still dripped from where his other arm had been severed, yet he paid it no mind.

“Let’s see how you handle this then.”

He stomped his foot into the ground.

Boom!

The entire arena cracked apart. Deep fractures spread like spiderwebs across the surface, splitting the battlefield into jagged sections as chunks of stone lifted and shifted. The terrain itself was being reshaped.

At the same time, a divine circle flared beneath him.

It pulsed with power.

A surge of energy erupted from his body as his divine power fully activated.

The crowd exploded.

Cheers, screams, and roars filled the stadium, shaking the very air.

“Let’s go!”

“Gara is about to end this!”

Many still believed the earlier injury was nothing more than luck, an accident, a fluke. Now, seeing Gara unleash his full strength, their confidence surged again.

“It seems Gara is finally going all out!” the announcer’s voice rang across the arena. “What will Silva do now?! Can Gara take back control and secure his victory as he always does?!”

Silva stood there, calm.

Unbothered.

He glanced around at the roaring crowd, then back at Gara.

“Seems like the entire place is in your favor,” he said lightly.

His smile widened.

“Guess I should change that.”

The air around him shifted.

Subtly at first, then unmistakably.

The pressure in the arena began to tilt.

Even the cheers started to falter, as if something unseen had just entered the battlefield.

Silva’s eyes slowly changed.

The pupils narrowed, stretching into something inhuman.

Dragon eyes.

The moment they appeared, the entire arena felt different, like everything within it had fallen under his gaze. Every movement, every breath, every shift in energy, all of it was within his sight.

He looked straight at Gara.

“This battle belongs to me now.”

His voice carried confidence.

No, certainty.

Then he moved.

Boom!

The ground where he stood exploded as he launched forward. His speed was so overwhelming that his body became nothing but a blur tearing through the air.

Gara’s eyes widened.

“You… you little insect!” he roared, swinging his blade down with full force.

But

Nothing.

His sword cut through empty air.

An afterimage.

Silva was already gone.

Above.

High in the air, Silva hovered with both hands pressed together, his posture resembling a devastating release of power.

A grin stretched across his face.

“Eat this.”

A massive stream of abyssal flames erupted from his hands.

Boom!

The attack tore through the air, crashing down toward Gara with terrifying speed and heat, its size rivaling that of a human body but carrying far greater destructive force.

Gara reacted instantly.

He kicked off the ground, barely escaping in time.

The flames slammed into the arena.

The stone beneath melted instantly.

The entire arena trembled violently from the impact, heat distorting the air as molten rock spread across the surface.

Silva landed smoothly on the ground.

Gara had already created distance between them.

For the first time

Shock crossed his face.

He hadn’t been able to react properly.

Even with his divine circle active.

His grip tightened around his sword.

The circle beneath him pulsed again, stronger this time, feeding him even more power.

His rage deepened.

There was no way

No way he would allow a newcomer to humiliate him like this.

The energy around him surged violently.

This fight

Was still his to win.
