”Awake?”

”President Xie...” Qiuqiu’s cheeks instantly turned a bit red, quickly picking up the coat from herself and handing it over, ”Thank you, I’m sorry, I...”

”No worries.” Xie Shuyu took the coat, placed it aside, and smiled gently, ”You seemed to be sleeping soundly, I was afraid you’d catch a cold.”

She looked at Qiuqiu, as if finally having some leisure, she started chatting with her: ”Right, I never asked you, after you resigned from Inspiration Design, where did you hop to?”

She truly appreciated Cheng Qiuyu.

Now that Glimmer Coffee has completed the first step of its nationwide expansion, the upcoming upgrade to the brand’s visual system is becoming very important, outsourcing is unsuitable now, they’ve already started forming a team.

If possible, she wouldn’t mind personally recruiting this talented and honest designer directly under her command.

The upcoming brand development will be very crucial, if possible, she wouldn’t mind bringing this outstanding designer over.

In fact, her judgment of people has always been excellent.

Three long-term outsourcing partners of Glimmer Coffee back in the day—

Tang Song responsible for technical development, Wen Ruan responsible for marketing planning, and Cheng Qiuyu responsible for visual design.

Are all top-notch talents.

Though there’s certainly no need to poach Tang Song and Wen Ruan.

But Cheng Qiuyu right in front of her, maybe is still worth contending for.

”At a clothing e-commerce company,” Qiuqiu answered softly, ”still doing visual design.”

Xie Shuyu became somewhat interested, ”Clothing e-commerce? It’s a good industry. For a designer, there’s a lot of room for growth in this industry. Feedback cycles are short, and you can directly interact with the real user data.”

”Yes, indeed.” Qiuqiu nodded.

The two chatted for a while about the topic of clothing e-commerce.

Xie Shuyu casually asked, ”What’s your company’s name?”

Qiuqiu answered seriously, ”Songmei Clothing Trading Co., Ltd., over in Cloud Stream Building.”

Xie Shuyu was taken aback upon hearing this, surprised, ”Songmei Clothing?”

”Yes, President Xie, do you know?” Having just said that, Qiuqiu suddenly reacted, ”Oh right! President Xie, you also know our President Tang!”

She wasn’t feeling well today, been preoccupied with thoughts about home, completely forgot that Tang Song was formerly a program manager with Glimmer Coffee.

She and Tang Song actually met at the Glimmer Coffee headquarters, introduced by Xie Shuyu.

Recalling the scene of their first meeting, she couldn’t help but smile.

That day, Xie Shuyu called her to Huayun Center, saying they needed to coordinate visual plans with development team.

At the time, she ran into Tang Song dressed in Under Armour gear downstairs.

He saw her biking over downstairs, stared at her nonstop, even sneakily took a photo with his phone.

So, her initial impression of him wasn’t that great.

Who would’ve thought, so much would happen later.

Xie Shuyu chuckled softly, her tone carrying a perfect amount of tease, ”So, it turns out you got poached by Tang Song. He’s really sly, poaching people I value without even giving me a heads-up, given that I’m the one who introduced you two.”

Qiuqiu immediately defended Tang Song, ”No, President Xie! I ran into issues at work and was recruited by a senior. President Tang... only learned I joined later...”

Watching her anxious efforts to defend, Xie Shuyu’s brows subtly lifted, her eyes twinkled.

Seemingly guessing something.

”Hehe, you’ve misunderstood, I don’t blame him. You might not know, but he’s now a major shareholder of Glimmer Coffee, involved in our A round financing.”

”Oh? Really...”

Xie Shuyu nodded, took a sip of water, and looked into her eyes, ”Moreover, I’m now his girlfriend.”

Boom—

Cheng Qiuyu’s head was buzzing.

Another girlfriend?!

And... President Xie?!

In her mind, Xie Shuyu is akin to a senior figure.

Not only is Xie Shuyu older by 10 years, but also because of her mature, efficient aura, alongside the impressive ’self-made, respected female entrepreneur’ halo.

In her view, she’s someone to be respected, even a bit feared.

Unexpectedly, she’s Tang Song’s girlfriend?

Looking at the poised, flawless ’female CEO’ before her, thinking about the senior, Tian Jing, and Xu Qing.

Her mind was a tangled mess.

How many girlfriends does he have exactly?

”Why aren’t you speaking? Is it strange?”

Xie Shuyu’s voice sounded again, pulling her back from the whirl of thoughts.

Her tone remained gentle, but those bright eyes carried a subtle examination, quietly observing her.

”No... nothing...” Qiuqiu instinctively avoided eye contact, voice flustered, ”Just a bit surprised, congratulations, President Xie.”

”Thank you.” Xie Shuyu nodded slightly, leaning against the chair, inconspicuously sizing up the young designer beside her.

Her delicate face, smooth and perfect, filled with collagen.

Her figure, curves front and back, extremely enticing.

A bit of a cool vibe in her looks but with a youthful feel.

Somewhat resembling the big celebrity Su Yu.

For the first time, Xie Shuyu scrutinized Cheng Qiuyu’s appearance head-on, feeling quite moved.

Being young is nice.

After all, once some things are lost, they never come back.

She instinctively touched the corners of her eyes, sighing internally.

Lately, she’s been far too busy.
