Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Tuesday, November 14, 2023, clear.

Half past six in the morning, the sky was still dark.

Shen Yuyan opened her eyes, gradually becoming fully awake.

Outside the window, it was pitch black, but the biting chill from previous days seemed absent in the air.

She stepped onto the floor barefoot, feeling a warm sensation.

Tomorrow is November 15th, when the community starts testing the heating.

She exercised lightly for half an hour and took a hot shower.

Shen Yuyan began to carefully go through her morning routine—washing up, skincare, and makeup.

The sky outside started to brighten with morning light.

She changed into a dark gray, tight-fitting workout outfit.

She walked to the balcony in the living room, using the natural morning light to find the right angle and snapped a sultry selfie.

After editing the photo, she sent it to Tang Song.

She wrote: ”Morning, Boss~, it’s another energetic day! Today’s work agenda is...”

As an ambitious assistant, she was eager and ready to replace Lin Muxue.

Just recently, Lin Muxue was set to go abroad, providing her the opportunity to shine.

She received a reply from Tang Song and exchanged a few emojis with him.

Satisfied, Shen Yuyan put down her phone, put on her sneakers, donned a coat, and stepped out.

On a late autumn morning, the streets were sparsely populated, and the air was bleak and cold.

The sycamore leaves by the roadside had mostly fallen, forming a thin golden layer on the ground.

She packed two breakfasts and returned to her rented apartment.

She woke up her best friend and shared breakfast together.

Shen Yuyan returned to her room once again.

She turned on her computer and began sorting out the materials related to today’s roadshow conference.

She was not just a decorative ”assistant” in name only.

In the month-plus since joining, Tang Song had indeed assigned her a significant amount of work.

Aside from representing Tang Song in due diligence for two AI technology company investments, she had been deeply involved with Rongliu Capital’s investment analysis department.

Screening and digging for early-stage projects with ”unicorn” potential.

Today she was set to attend a high-tech project roadshow conference organized by the Yan Province Development and Reform Commission.

There were two hard-tech companies under focus, specially invited by her and the Rongliu team after rigorous screenings.

And she would be accompanying as Tang Song’s ”eyes” and ”ears,” deeply involved in the subsequent research and investment phases.

She didn’t quite understand why Tang Song, equipped with the strong platform of Rongliu Capital and surrounded by elites like Wu Kezhi and Anne Kate, was so focused on these early-stage projects.

But she knew, this precisely was where her greatest value lay, the main reason Tang Song recruited her.

If one day Tang Song no longer needed her to handle these tasks, her role as a special assistant would lose its meaning.

Therefore, she wasn’t like Lin Muxue; she always felt a sense of urgency and crisis.

At 8:20 in the morning, Shen Yuyan changed into formal business attire.

She deftly stuffed project materials, her laptop, a voice recorder, and a stack of her new business cards into her commuter bag.

The black Audi special car was already waiting downstairs.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped outside the east gate of YJTC.

Shen Yuyan completed her registration with the guard and walked into the community, heading to Building 1.

With assistance from the property manager, she took the elevator directly to the 20th floor.

Standing in front of the dark armored double doors, she tidied her appearance and gently pressed the doorbell.

Soon, the door opened, unveiling a tall and well-built figure.

Shen Yuyan immediately beamed with a bright smile, ”Good morning, Jiayi.”

”Morning, Assistant Shen,” Liu Jiayi nodded, stepping aside.

Shen Yuyan changed into slippers for guests and stepped inside.

Entering the living room, she saw Tang Song who was browsing through documents on a tablet.

His perfect profile with straight nose and thin lips was outlined softly by the morning light, radiating breathtaking charm.

Shen Yuyan pursed her lips, walked gracefully beside Tang Song, and warmly greeted him, ”President Tang.”

”Morning, Shirley,” Tang Song lifted his head, gesturing, ”Have a seat.”

As soon as he spoke, a refreshing scent of perfume wafted in.

And then, a warm and soft touch was felt on his thigh.

Shen Yuyan sat closely beside him.

Tang Song glanced at this strategic school beauty, showing a meaningful smile.

Shen Yuyan’s expression remained unchanged.

Opening her briefcase, she took out printed documents and handed them over, ”President Tang, here is today’s roadshow conference flow and key highlights.”

Tang Song casually accepted them and began to flip through.

Shen Yuyan leaned slightly, her straight hair brushing against his arm, softly elaborating on details.

After discussing the roadshow conference work.

She seemed to suddenly recall something, showing a self-mocking smile.

In a teasing tone, she said, ”Speaking of, our first reunion after college graduation was at an investment roadshow. Unfortunately, back then I didn’t recognize your prowess. Otherwise, I would have definitely clung to your golden leg right away!”

Saying so, she actually slid off the sofa.

Kneeling on one knee, she playfully hugged Tang Song’s leg.

Her ample bust pressed against his knee, creating an enticing curve.

Looking at her fresh school beauty face, Tang Song also recalled those moments and couldn’t help but smile.

Back then, he attended as the technology chief of Glimmer Coffee, accompanying Xie Shuyu, and coincidentally met this ambitious school beauty.

Shen Yuyan stood confidently on the stage back then, exuding an image full of vigor and aspiration that remains vivid to this day.
