Chapter 1214: Chapter 464: Secretary Jin’s Little Maneuver (Part 3)

“Wow! As expected of Tang Song! So impressive!”

Li Shumin exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she typed: “@Tang Song, thank you, senior. Senior, you’re amazing. This is so reassuring to hear, I’m touched!”

Yao Lingling gave her a playful slap, “Haha, you know how to suck up now?”

Li Shumin smiled awkwardly, shrinking her neck.

The two chatted with Tang Song in the group for a while, then finally put down their phones and began to discuss the upcoming resignation matters.

Yao Lingling looked at Tang Song’s profile picture, feeling full of helplessness.

The senior is really good, but the more you realize how excellent he is, the more you feel unworthy.

Originally, she fantasized that her work would win an award, become a famous designer, and then boldly express her feelings.

But now everything has returned to square one.

She and Minmin still need his help to arrange jobs, which just makes her feel even more inferior.

Just then, a sound of footsteps approached.

Yao Lingling and Li Shumin looked up to see Xiao Mingxuan approaching with a tight expression.

Their eyes met, and Xiao Mingxuan’s lips trembled, slowly stopping beside them.

After a moment, he spoke in a dry, low voice, “Lingling, Minmin, please come to the meeting room with me.”

Li Shumin instinctively looked at her close friend, showing a look of dependence.

“Let’s go, Minmin.” Yao Lingling pulled her arm and stood up, heading to the meeting room.

The frosted glass door was gently closed.

Xiao Mingxuan sat down opposite them, exhaling deeply, “I’m sorry to you both, it’s all my fault.”

Yao Lingling pursed her lips and said calmly, “President Xiao, things have come to this point, let’s discuss how the company plans to handle us.”

Li Shumin opened her mouth, hesitating to speak.

Previously, she had a good impression of President Xiao, even secretly having a crush on him.

But Wen Qiuyue’s appearance and the vile manner of the company this time changed her impression drastically.

Xiao Mingxuan shook his head, quickly adjusting his attitude, and sincerely said, “Lingling, let’s first talk about the compensation the company will give you.

First, during your time at Shangya, all the clothes you designed, the copyrights will be gifted to you, authorized by you for the company to use.

Secondly, the company will continue to promote these clothes, giving you commissions according to the core designer’s ratio.

Thirdly, the resignation compensation is 2n+1, with a one-time payment of 5 months’ salary compensation.

Additionally, you should have a year-end bonus, now it’s almost October, so we’ll give it to you for the full year.”

When he finished speaking, both girls were taken aback.

Yao Lingling was relatively calm, having seen the situation of Wen Ruan and Lin Muxue at the conference center, somewhat prepared.

Li Shumin, on the other hand, widened her eyes, tightly covering her mouth, full of disbelief.

This was completely different from what she thought!

Just like that, Lingling will be able to get fifty to sixty thousand dollars, and still continue to earn commissions.

“And for Minmin.” Xiao Mingxuan looked at Li Shumin, saying: “For you… since you don’t have clothing copyrights, it’s just 2n+1 and year-end bonus. However, if needed, I can help with job placements. Also, when to resign primarily depends on your two’s preferences.”

Li Shumin swallowed her saliva, her gaze towards Xiao Mingxuan changed again.

Is it really this good?

This isn’t firing employees, this is simply doing charity!

Just as she couldn’t help but want to express gratitude.

Yao Lingling suddenly asked, “President Xiao, does the company have any conditions?”

Xiao Mingxuan hesitated for a moment, carefully choosing his words: “There’s no condition, just hope you can calm down. Additionally, if possible, please let President Tang know, hoping he won’t pursue the matter.”

Li Shumin blurted out: “President Tang? What do you mean?”

Yao Lingling’s heart skipped a beat, instantly realizing.

Xiao Mingxuan said in a low voice: “I mean Tang Song.”

“Ah! Senior Tang Song? He…” Li Shumin, looked shocked, stammered: “He wants to pursue…”

Xiao Mingxuan pressed his lips hard, eyes downcast, saying: “This matter started with me and Wen Qiuyue, and actually Shangya is innocent. My dad did this because of Wen Qiuyue’s request, hoping you two can forgive the company.”

For Shangya and Jiaxin Group, whether it’s Wen Ruan or Lin Muxue, it won’t have a fundamental impact.

At most, it’s just not entering Meigou’s cross-border channel, but they can also take other paths.

But Tang Song is different, he’s truly a big figure.

Zheng Qiudong, Shangguan Qiuya, Director Sun, none of them can be offended.

Listening to the somewhat humble words of Xiao Mingxuan, Li Shumin and Yao Lingling exchanged glances, feeling bewildered.

After a while, Yao Lingling took a deep breath, nodding with a complex look: “Okay, we understand.”

She should have thought of it earlier, just hadn’t turned her mind around before.

Wen Zhenhua and Xiao Liguo, two big bosses, were so polite to Lin Muxue, and Tang Song’s status is higher than Lin Muxue.

Xiao Liguo is clearly afraid of offending Tang Song, which is why he offers such good resignation terms.

Yao Lingling is a sensible person, also knowing the root of the problem lies with Wen Qiuyue, Xiao Liguo just didn’t take them as small employees seriously.

Since she got compensation, the company expressed remorse, and even returned her work copyrights, her anger and resentment dissipated.

“Then that’s it.” Yao Lingling stood up, saying: “Thank you, President Xiao, we’ll submit the resignation application when we go back, and complete the handover as soon as possible.”

“Mm, no rush.”

Watching Yao Lingling’s figure disappear in the meeting room.

Xiao Mingxuan leaned back in his chair, sighing softly, with an uncontrollable sense of loneliness in his eyes.
