Chapter 345: Chapter 221 [Su Yu’s Glasses]_3 Chapter 345: Chapter 221 [Su Yu’s Glasses]_3 Tang Song stood outside the gate and glanced in the direction of the theater, guessing the show must have ended by now and wondering whether Su Yu had left.

This was probably the closest they had been to each other in reality.

He entered the concierge entrance on the first floor and took the elevator straight to the 38th-floor lobby area, led by the service staff.

Tang Song’s face briefly froze, a flash of surprise in his eyes.

There, in a spot toward the back of the lobby, stood a woman in a blue shirt and jeans.

She had the typical face of a mature lady with a sober style, her chest high and proud, long hair down to her waist, looking tall and sexy, very eye-catching.

Cheng Qiuyiu?

What was she doing here?

In her hand, she held a large light board, its lights turned off, but one could still make out Su Yu’s name and several pasted photos.

On her cheeks and collarbones were the words “Su Yu,” written with a purple fluorescent pen.

The spitting image of an avid fan.

As everyone knows, purple was the support color for Su Yu.

Tang Song blinked and quickly remembered what Xu Qing had said.

This must be a real die-hard fan, busy with work and yet running to Shanghai to support Su Yu, even staying at the Marriott Hotel next to the theater.

Feeling Tang Song’s gaze, Cheng Qiuyiu, standing sideways, turned her head.

A look of astonishment spread across her previously expressionless face.

She pursed her lips and looked towards the approaching Tang Song.

A white shirt, jeans, black-rimmed glasses, temperament gentle and refined, with a fresh and handsome face.

It was hard not to feel a sense of affinity.

Cheng Qiuyiu took a deep breath and took the initiative to greet him, her voice somewhat low, “Tang Song, what a coincidence to run into you in Shanghai.”

Looking at the photos of Su Yu in her hand and the name on her cheek, Tang Song revealed a bright smile, “You’re here on business, and this is support for Su Yu?”

“Uh… yeah,” Cheng Qiuyiu’s face turned slightly red, “Su Yu attended the film festival’s red carpet tonight and won an award, I signed up for the support activity in the fan group.”

Just then, a male voice came from the side: “Qiuyiu! I’ve checked into our room! Unfortunately, because of the film festival, only executive suites were available, so we can’t be on the same floor, heh.”

Following that, a young man wearing a cap and sunglasses came over, standing beside her and frowning slightly, “Who is he?”

“A friend of mine,” Cheng Qiuyiu whispered.

“Oh? A friend? How come I’ve never heard you mention having such a friend?” Ansel raised his slender eyebrows, his guarded and vigilant eyes hidden behind his sunglasses.

Tang Song’s height, looks, and temperament were quite outstanding.

He suddenly came over—could it be he was here for Qiuyiu?

“A friend from work,” Qiuyiu bit her lower lip and said in a low voice, “Ansel, you go ahead and rest in the room, I have something to discuss privately with my friend.”

Hearing this, alarm bells rang in Ansel’s mind.

This best friend from his high school days, his first love, he had long regarded her as his own.

Today he had accompanied her to the support activity and then used the excuse that it was too late to stay over.

He had been fantasizing about following up with some flirtation and interaction, but still, she had rejected him, so he reluctantly checked into a room by himself.

He worried whether she might have met a guy she liked, which was why she was being restrained towards him, despite his excellence.

Licking his lips, he nonchalantly removed his sunglasses and said calmly to Tang Song, “Hello, I’m Ansel, Qiuyiu’s high school classmate, a good friend.”

“Ansel?” Tang Song’s eyes lifted slightly, a touch of surprise on his face.

What a coincidence, it was the same guy he had just seen on Xue’s TikTok.

Seeing his reaction, Ansel smiled, “Seem familiar? The drama I’m in is currently popular, you might have seen it inadvertently.”

Tang Song nodded calmly, saying nothing.

Ansel looked at his shiny wristwatch and said, “Alright then, you two chat, I’m going to sleep. I have an audition tomorrow. By the way, Qiuyiu, what do you want for breakfast? I’ll have my assistant arrange it.”

Cheng Qiuyiu shook her head, “It’s okay, I can just buy something. It’ll be nice to try the special breakfast in Shanghai.”

“Uh… alright,” Ansel responded, waved at them both, and walked towards the elevator.

“Whew~” Cheng Qiuyiu took a deep breath, looked into Tang Song’s eyes with a sense of guilt, and said, “About last time… I’m really sorry! Although I was there when the accident happened, and saw Liu Wenning and them damaging your bike, I didn’t step in, and that was my fault, I’m very sorry!”

After saying that, she bowed slightly.

This matter had lingered in her heart for a long time.

She had known Tang Song before, and even if they weren’t friends, they were acquaintances, coworkers.

Her band friends had damaged his bike, and she was at the scene.

From Tang Song’s perspective, she was an accomplice, which left her feeling deeply remorseful.

She had wanted to catch up and apologize at the police station last time, but in the end, she had lacked the courage.

She wanted to apologize on WeChat several times later but worried that it wouldn’t seem sincere.

This unexpected meeting turned out to be a rare opportunity, and she finally voiced the apologies that had been pent up inside her.

Having listened to her, Tang Song shook his head dismissively, “It’s okay; you didn’t know it was my bike at the time, and you weren’t the one who did it.”

“Still, it was my fault, and I’m really sorry,” Cheng Qiuyiu apologized again earnestly.

Tang Song’s face showed a faint smile, “I’m not that petty, and seeing as it’s on Su Yu’s account, I won’t haggle over such a small matter with you.”
