Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4496: Ninth Cycle Of Reincarnation

”Mingzhi,” Myria finally opened her mouth, her voice solemn, ”I prefer you wouldn’t bring such talk during a sacred moment like this. Not everything needs to be sensual.”

”Aiya~ What’s sensual about breastfeeding a baby?”

Mingzhi grabbed Myria’s hand, placating her, ”I’m telling you. You are missing out. We mothers have all fed him when he was an adult, so what difference does it make when he’s currently a baby? You’re thinking too much into it. Besides, since you’re his polar opposite, that we’re all also low-key jealous of, it could also have some kind of boon for him.”

”...”

Myria went speechless. Mingzhi wasn’t conniving but always honest about her thoughts, even if it was kind of dubious. She really couldn’t bring herself to admonish Mingzhi.

Instead, she thought about Mingzhi’s words.

Her breast milk could have some favorable effects on Davis, but the opposite could also be true. This was the final cycle, so she couldn’t mess it up.

Ultimately, Myria shook her head, ”I do not lactate since I haven’t given birth. Besides, we can’t harm him in the name of trying something new, even if it is a boon for him.”

”Don’t be like that.” Mingzhi whimpered, ”The cycles he went through weren’t the same, was it?”

”...” Myria paused for a moment before she nodded.

”At first, our actions were clumsy, and Davis experienced immense pain when he regressed all the way to a soul. We didn’t know at which point to stop. Moreover, he didn’t conserve his energy using chaos at that time, only relying on reincarnation, which made the process less efficient.”

”We almost messed up if it weren’t for his Ghost Will saving the day by fueling the reincarnation energy to allow his body to grow. From then on, we knew the Ghost Will was the way to make this work after regressing and going through the reincarnation wheel. Later, I developed the Unfettered Nurturing Womb technique to aid his growth and calm him down after seeing the Ghost Will made him release ghost aura while his eyes were bloodshot, filled with malevolence. Then for the subsequent cycles, we perfected it cycle after cycle, using the techniques at the right moment, maintaining a thorough balance.”

”Mhm... seems complex,” Mingzhi nodded with awe, ”At this point, he’s already safe, right?”

Myria stared at Mingzhi, wondering what she was getting at.

”I suppose he is safe.” Mingzhi continued, ”In that case, just bring him out.”

She took out a white pill, her expression carrying a hint of playfulness, ”This is a lactating pill that I use to have fun when he wants my milk. It allows you to lactate for three days.”

”You-”

”Don’t worry. It’s absolutely pure and unadulterated because Tina is the one who created this for me with the most gentle resources. If you don’t want him, let me feed him. This is an opportunity that can’t be missed. Later on, I can claim to be his mother, and he can’t do anything about it.” Mingzhi grinned.

”...”

Myria was absolutely dumbfounded.

”...” Everlight calmly watched.

This didn’t seem like a bad proposition to her, as she wanted Davis to become stronger. Drinking milk was a fairly good thing for a baby. She wondered why Myria was so hesitant about it.

”No, you cannot do that. You have a special physique that changes your body’s nature.”

Myria shook her head, ”If he has to be fed, then it can only be my life and death essence. My Eternal Life Body Physique I created can accommodate his needs.”

”But I-”

”No buts.”

Myria grabbed the pill from Mingzhi’s hand and brought Davis down from the Unfettered Nurturing Womb technique. It was both a combination of a Spirit Formation and a technique, calming one’s senses and allowing one to grow rapidly by extracting their potential to the surface, which, in this case, drags out the latent energy stored in the soul faster while also rapidly healing to ensure that no sequela was left.

”...” Mingzhi made sad noises as she whimpered, but inside, she was grinning like a mastermind.

Now she could tease Myria to death if she were to ever bring up this matter. She couldn’t wait to corrupt her Saintess sister, too. But more than that, she also wanted Davis to grow stronger, and she knew Myria’s milk should be the right catalyst for him. In fact, she couldn’t believe that they hadn’t tried this yet after seeing him appear in the state of a baby.

Taking away the strange connotations, it should be immensely beneficial for him as talent could also grow when a mother feeds her baby her milk.

A little blonde-haired baby appeared in Myria’s embrace.

Davis literally looked no more than three years old, his body calm and curled up with his tiny hands near his chin. He opened his eyes slowly, feeling some changes in which he was moved.

At this state, his thoughts were hazy, but his Will was strong enough to make sense of his surroundings. He couldn’t speak. Even though his soul was stronger than any immortal baby, it couldn’t extend out. He knew he needed to become at least nine days old in terms of bodily growth in order to extend his soul sense.

He wasn’t shaken by it since it was always the same every time. Although his memories, emotions, and karma still stayed, his body sensitivity and emotional control have been reset. His Will was strong, but a baby’s body wouldn’t listen. Being disturbed, he felt like he could cry out wailing any moment now.

However, something hit his face. It was soft and plushly, and his body instinctively reacted, his little mouth pressing on something pointy.

”Aah~”

Myria let out the weirdest moan of her life, almost dropping Davis. She tried to pull him back.

”Careful~ Don’t let him go. You already did it...”

Mingzhi appeared by Myria’s side, allowing her to continue feeding, but Myria’s expression couldn’t be any more funny as her mouth nearly turned wavy, filled with all kinds of emotions.

Mingzhi barely managed to suppress her laughter, ”Keep feeding him.”

”But nothing’s coming out...” Myria didn’t know what to do.

She looked lost, dismayed, but immensely cute, causing Mingzhi to keep a serious face.

”It will...”

And as she said, it was like a damn had been released, breast milk spurting from both her ducts.

Davis kept sucking on it, so he was able to drink the first spurt.

Myria was utterly embarrassed. However, she suddenly started feeling strange as she felt calm, as though this was such a normal thing to do. Her wavy mouth turned normal, and she held baby Davis more steadily and embraced him closer, letting him drink properly.

”...” Mingzhi was momentarily taken aback. She wanted to see more of Myria acting funny.

However, she now looked like a full-fledged mother.

*Bzzz~*

Suddenly, iridescent veins began lighting up on baby Davis’s body. His forehead became etched by a new mark as though signifying something.

”This is...”

Mingzhi and Myria noticed. However, even before they could see what it was, it disappeared.

”What is it?” Everlight rushed towards them to see what was going on.

”Something mystical, something innate happened...” Myria shook her head, unsure of what she saw.

”I told you... It would make him more powerful... Your union is good for his soul.”

Mingzhi giggled, ”We can only wait for him to grow up and see what it is.”

”I hope it’s a boon rather than a bane...”

Myria said. But she smiled, continuing to breastfeed baby Davis with a heartened expression on her face.

Meanwhile...

”Mingzhi, what have you done...!? Look at my Myria... the strange thought that the World Master put in her head is definitely more entrenched now...”

Davis inwardly cried. However, he was powerless to stop it. In fact, he was powerless to stop drinking. This tiny body of his craved Myria’s milk, and he had also noticed the changes. He couldn’t figure out what it was since he had no control over his body.

”Very interesting...”

However, Fallen Heaven’s voice resounded from within his soul.

Whether it passed through Myria’s reincarnation cycle or was separated from his soul temporarily, if it didn’t want to be found, it could not be found.
