Indestructible Body Of Vajra Of The Village Leader

Chapter 1391: Chapter 1067: Dharma Cave! Instant Heavenly Vision!

The majestic Shaolin, the ancestral court of the Zen Sect, the wind banners flutter, and the heart resonates.

An hour ago, within the ancestral court of Shaoshi Mountain in Shaolin,

in a cave regarded as sacred ground, suddenly came the sound of wooden fish tapping on the hearts of people, and also the chanting of Buddhist hymns drifting out from the cave, causing the two old monks sitting cross-legged outside in waiting to tremble all over, dust falling from their bodies.

”The Venerable transmits a message!”

”Has the Divine Stone unsealed earlier than expected? Why, why is this happening?”

The two old monks waiting outside the cave opened their eyes simultaneously, the dust falling from their faces revealing solemn and dignified expressions, and although they did not speak, they had already reached a spiritual exchange.

Even at this moment, the repeated sound of wooden fish and chanting from within the cave had already announced astonishing news.

This message could only be understood and not uttered, being the Buddhist sect’s Dharma method, ”transmitting heart by heart, not relying on words”, created by Dharma.

Since Dharma Venerable’s nirvana, this method has continued to pass in Shaolin, and the cave where he once meditated for nine full years has become a holy site of Shaolin, containing extremely strong Buddha Nature and Buddha’s Intent, which those without a Buddha Heart cannot sense. Once sensed, it equates to receiving the true teachings of Dharma, becoming Dharma’s disciple of a later generation, and being granted a name of the Hui generation.

Over the years, the reason Shaolin has been a hidden ground of talents and constantly produced experts is largely due to this Dharma meditation cave, which has nurtured countless powerful disciples of Dharma for Shaolin.

However, most of these disciples would only sit cross-legged year after year outside the cave, feeling the boundless Buddha Dharma, pursuing infinite Buddha Dharma with limited life.

Except for very few special moments or when Shaolin faces a catastrophic disaster, at other times, they will never leave Shaolin, and before life ends, they will eventually enter the cave to reach nirvana, choosing to return to the world of Buddha, thus becoming a part of the Buddha Nature within themselves, enhancing the Buddha Nature within the cave, making it stronger over the years.

Even in Shaolin, over the years, high monks truly capable of sensing the Buddha Nature and Buddha Dharma within the Dharma Cave are extremely rare, and each one is a divine monk truly possessing the Buddha Heart.

And none of them had received the complete transmission of Dharma; each high monk sensed different Buddhist messages, some entirely concerned with Buddhist scriptures and principles, unrelated to any martial arts in the martial world.

Therefore, among them are some divine monks who are merely strong in spirit but not adept in combat.

At this moment, the two divine monks who felt the message transmitted from the Dharma Cave both possessed very strong Buddha Nature and Buddha Heart but were not skilled in fighting others.

The spiritual power used initially by Hui Yun to seal the Divine Stone was imparted through the Buddha Artifacts with which these two empowered, and that Buddha Artifact originally came from a gavel inside the Dharma Cave.

And now, the wooden fish inside the Dharma Cave rang without the gavel being struck, clearly indicating the Divine Stone has been unsealed.

”Amitabha Buddha! Brother Hui Xing and Hui Yun! Now that the Divine Stone is unsealed ahead of time, the situation is critical, which one of you two brothers desires to proceed immediately to find the Divine Stone?”

An old monk with nine scars on his head almost forming nine relic-like buds softly chanted a Buddha name.

”Amitabha Buddha!”

Under an ancient pine on the mountain path beside, a frail old monk dressed in a simple cyan monk robe slowly rose, placing his hands together, and said, ”Brother Hui Yun is just recovering from his critical injuries; let me go on this trip. Please, dear brothers, guide me!”

Saying so, the old monk raised his head, his kindly demeanor and generous attitude blending harmoniously with his surroundings, was surprisingly none other than the Sweeping Monk of Shaoshi Mountain Shaolin who once had a brief encounter with Jiang Dali. Only now, a few strands of his long beard had turned from white to black, making him appear somewhat younger, clearly indicating significant improvement in his strength compared to before, rejuvenating and washing his body anew.

”Amitabha Buddha! Thank you, Brother Hui Xing.”

From behind the pine tree came the voice of a young monk, obviously Hui Yun, who had been gravely injured in a battle at Leifeng Tower.

”Brother Hui Xing, come forward! I will now mobilize the boundless Buddha Power of Dharma Ancestor to open for you a moment of Heavenly Vision, to see clearly the location of the Divine Stone.”

The old monk who spoke first said slowly.

Even the Sweeping Monk couldn’t help but be moved hearing this. In the Buddhist Sect, those who, like Dharma, reached the highest realms of cultivation could open the Five Great Divine Abilities, one of which is called Heavenly Vision.

Yet as powerful as Dharma Venerable was, he achieved nirvana shortly after transcending himself and gaining divine abilities’ power because it was a power beyond human reach, and even withstanding it spiritually, the formidable physical body of Dharma Venerable, with his Vajra Unbreakable Zen Skill, was unable to bear it.

Now, Hui De the Elder Monk intends to open a moment of Heavenly Vision, and even if only for a moment, it signifies that after that instant, Hui De shall become integrated into nirvana.

”Amitabha Buddha! Sound is in the hearing, inherently with birth and cessation. Not because you hear the sound, it’s born or ceases, allowing you to perceive your nature as being, existing or non-existing. Brother Hui Xing, have you still not seen through it?”

Hui De perceived the Sweeping Monk’s hesitation and smiled lightly with eyes lowered gently.

The Sweeping Monk chanted a Buddha name low, ”Senior brother’s virtues are generous and inclusive, making me feel ashamed, Brother Hui Xing!”

After speaking, the Sweeping Monk no longer hesitated; his sleeves fluttered as he strode towards Hui De.

The two immediately sat opposite each other before the Dharma Cave, jointly chanting the ”Dharma Scripture,” bit by bit mobilizing the strong Buddha nature power within the cave, gathering collective aspirations to exert immense force, to open the Heavenly Vision!

For a time, a series of wooden fish sounds accompanied by chanting spread in the mind, transmitting widely, a mysterious and grand field centering around the Dharma Cave slowly coalesced.

...

An hour later.

Jiang Dali had just finished announcing opposing faction missions for large forces and was observing the activity on the Jianghu Forum.

He was still riding the Demon Hawk, flying southward, trying to use a mysterious hunch in his heart to find the person who should not exist in this world.

However, at this moment, the sweeping wind suddenly seemed to fall into stillness, and everything around including the space seemed to freeze.

Jiang Dali suddenly felt an immense astonishment as he experienced all five aggregates becoming obscured, it was as if he had suddenly plunged into a vast frozen space.

Not only the surrounding environment, even his body seemed about to blur and vanish altogether, becoming impossible to sense.

He immediately perceived that this must be a method originating from spiritual confusion, utterly without warning and terrifyingly overwhelming, and he was about to gather all his Primordial Spirit energy to use the ”Spirit Cage” method to resist.

Just then, the blurry world in front of him was like shattered glass, suddenly revealing a large clear scene and figures before him.

A voice imbued with Zen intent echoed within his spirit.

”Amitabha Buddha! Master Jiang! Long time no see, do not be alarmed.

This is a momentary Heavenly Vision unfolded by our temple’s Divine Monk Hui De, borrowing the power of Dharma Ancestor, lasting just an instant, but an instant is eternity, this divine ability will lock the current location of the Divine Stone for both you and me, please Master Jiang, remember it promptly, and use your Primordial Spirit to lock onto that position. Hurry and go there! This humble monk will follow afterwards!”
