Indestructible Body Of Vajra Of The Village Leader

Chapter 1256: Chapter 977~978: Warning! Dragon Slaying Conference!

Just as Lu Xiaofeng and Sikong Zhaixing were both trying to break through the levels.

The scenes occurring inside Jingyan Palace had already been posted by a group of Black Wind Village’s elite players on the Jianghu Forum, attracting many players who were already highly attentive to the War God Temple to come and watch.

Although the videos mostly featured visuals of NPCs like Jiang Dali talking to themselves without the mysterious Si Mengba Living Buddha’s voice ever being heard, making things seem profound and unfathomable.

Nevertheless, the players still learned about the mysterious side of the War God Temple from the dialogues, realizing that there was actually a powerful demon dragon guarding it, and that the legend of Chuan Ying riding a white horse to shatter the void was indeed true.

The disclosure of this information naturally stirred intense emotions among the players, leading to widespread discussion on the forum.

Of course, Jiang Dali was well aware of this, but he deemed there was no need to keep such information confidential, and thus did not issue a confidentiality agreement task in advance to the accompanying elite players.

For the players, as long as the village chief hadn’t issued a confidentiality agreement task, the event could naturally be spread to varying degrees, this harmonious and tacit understanding between BOSS and players having matured over time into something more seamless.

To many players gathered on the Liuma Plain, this large-scale power task entirely felt like a scripted scene starring NPCs, leaving the players’ participation rather minimal, being reduced to mere spectators.

Throughout the entire Jingyan Palace breakthrough process, it seemed as if the Black Wind Village Chief had teamed up with a group of friends to replace the players’ roles, demonstrating the correct way for players to enter the War God Temple in Jingyan Palace.

Compared to the escalating tension at Leifeng Tower, where even Shaolin had dispatched the Arhat Hall monk soldiers, the tranquil situation at Jingyan Palace appeared rather unfriendly to many players and martial guests who had come from afar.

If it weren’t for the substantial power task rewards given by Jiang Dali, many players would already have left in frustration, complaining loudly on their way out.

Even so, on the corresponding sections of the Jianghu Forum, players were grumbling in boredom while discussing the War God Temple.

As Lu Xiaofeng and others interacted with the stone wall, Jiang Dali also took a moment to glance at the forum. Having gained a more detailed understanding of the situation, he too felt quite distressed.

Ultimately, the players are his ”primary driving force” in this world, and a crucial factor in his rapid rise and development.

Compared to these treasury players, items like the Great Strength Fire Qilin Saber and Breaking Realm Pearl are secondary.

The fact that players feel their level of participation in this large-scale faction task is low and rather dull is a dangerous signal, indicating that his core attraction might be weakening.

If this faction task is not exciting and perfect enough, failing to leave players with a deep impression and lingering appreciation, players’ enthusiasm and eagerness for future faction tasks will be significantly diminished.

Of course, players tend to be driven by profit, showing interest only when the price is right, yet if they frequently experience poor enjoyment, they will eventually become completely disappointed and cease to support any further.

After all, the Mixed Martial Arts World is vast, and he’s not the only Black Wind Village Chief offering large-scale faction tasks with generous rewards.

Recently, other regions have also launched large events, such as the Supreme Alliance opening King’s Chess City, the Tong Family and Feng Clan joining forces to make a comeback and fight against the traitor Yin Zhong’s Undead Army, the Southern Beggar Gang Leader You Tazi hosting a martial arts tournament for Beggar Gang disciples with the Yin Gui Sect Palace Master as the judge, among many others, all of which have attracted lots of players to participate, creating strong competition.

Under such circumstances, comparing to the two large-scale faction events he held, players inevitably have a sense of judgment; if the over fifty thousand players who went to Jingyan Palace find the experience utterly terrible, trying to ”milk the cow” again next time might not be so easy.

”The leek market is now chaotic, and more people are sharing the cake. Before, it was enough to quietly harvest leeks, but now, many have become smarter, joining me in attracting and using players, making leek harvesting a sophisticated skill. It’s hard to do a simple cut now.”

Jiang Dali felt a headache as he rested one elbow on his other hand, rubbing his chin.

He feels like he’s doing business, trying to earn money with old techniques, but the times have changed drastically with technological upgrades and shifts in players’ tastes, and there are more merchants joining the market to ”eat the meat”, generating immense competition.

In this situation, if he continues to mindlessly use old methods to earn money, he’ll quickly be eliminated by the market, and the leek he painstakingly cultivated and fattened will soon run away to someone else’s bowl, where they may turn into a threat to him instead.

This is an enormous threat, even more so than Xiong Ba of the World Association.

And the source of the threat is because he hasn’t tried to make bigger changes, hasn’t kept up with the Mixed Martial Arts World players’ progress, and hasn’t continued to advance his thinking and vision. It reflects the saying — ”A person, when at a high position, always sees farther and clearer, but once he starts to go down, he often sees nothing clearly. This might also be the reason he begins to fall.”
