The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 106: Complicating our relationships

”T-The tru-truth is... I’m a W-Woman.”

”.....?”

Selene, apparently, did not understand what I was saying. She turned and looked me straight in the eye, silently asking me to explain better, or so I understood.

”The-the truth is....., wait a minute.”

Saying that, I stood up, and finally, in front of her, I began to slowly change, undoing the morphogenesis and returning to my original appearance.

”The truth is, I am Seraphina Silvercres, a high-ranking noble.”

”...Who?”

”.... Well, that doesn’t matter. The important thing is that, as you can see, I am a girl like you, transformed by my ability, and it is because...”

I began to tell her my story, just as I had done with Alice in the morning. It was long, and I wondered if she was understanding, as his gaze seemed a bit lost as I spoke to her . Finally, when I finished.

”Tell me, Selene, what do you think about all this? I didn’t want to lie to you, but you know it’s hard to do this being a woman, right?”

”Uhmm... my boyfriend is a girl... do I like girls?... uhmmm...”

I had never seen Selene so thoughtful, and I started to get a little worried. But in the end, after a long silence....

”Mom said it was okay if I liked girls, and my sister didn’t say anything...”

”Huh? What, no, more like, that’s your conclusion?.... Wait, you were trying to remember if your sister and mom allowed you to be with a girl?.... Well, if they said it was okay, then it’s okay, but I want to know what you yourself think about all this... Doesn’t it bother you that it’s a girl?”

”...Why would it bother me....?”

She tilted her head as if she didn’t understand my question. There are times when Selene acts about some things as if it’s something obvious when it’s obviously not, and it’s so normal that sometimes it makes me question if I’m the one who’s wrong with the logic.

Well, anyway, this is exactly why I had planned to tell her things, even if what happened with Alice hadn’t happened. While her common sense is certainly a bit off, I’ve come to understand her enough that I wasn’t terrified enough to confess everything to her.

Well, I can’t say that I wasn’t nervous when she thought for a long time, and that although Selene seems like a simple person, there are times that logic and understanding doesn’t go in line with people’s feelings, and there wasn’t 100% certainty, but in the end, it had nothing to do with what she thought her long doubt , and it happened what I originally thought.

In fact, I was more surprised that Alice accepted it and took it in right away, but in Selene’s case, it’s like she didn’t care about those little details. As long as it was me, everything was fine.

Well, that was her personality. I had gotten nervous over nothing. Happily, I took her in my arms and gave her a hug. Well, this was much less of a problem than with Alice... where there were punches and a stabbing involved.

”Well, the first meeting of ’people united for the same purpose begins’.”

I said as I raised a gavel and began the first meeting of my harem, which has been building up to now. Now there was me, being my clone transformed into Christian, bringing the gavel down as I watched the four women in front of me.

My original self was coddling Selene in my female form, reminding her that she should definitely never tell anyone that she was Seraphina, nor what was going on here.

Come to think of it, this is the first time my doppelganger and I have acted separately in the same place since I got parallel thinking. It’s weird to see myself doing things apart from my own will.

Well, even though I am myself, if I concentrate I realize that it’s me in the end, but it still feels weird. It’s just a matter of getting used to it.

..

Now that we’re all being honest, the truth is that certainly, even if it bothers me, the guy in the mirror said something that is true: I was working out of inertia. Honestly, from the moment I had Alice and Elena, technically my harem dream was fulfilled.

True, when one imagines a harem, one thinks of counting by the dozen.... well, that’s how I used to think. Certainly, although he had no right to interfere in my life, what he said made me reflect on many things.

I don’t want to lose this thing that I built, so I couldn’t keep gathering more girls without any consideration, I at least want to know what the girls think of what I’m doing, I don’t want to lose them, by going after someone who in the end, I wouldn’t know if she would really join my harem.

seriously, now that I know how I really feel about these girls, I don’t want to risk anything, and I will make sure I never lose them.

I feel like I’ve been given some damn character development, but it was certainly another reality check, of what my current reality is, and how I have to deal with it.

Greed without measure can destroy me, that’s why I wanted everyone’s opinion here. Even at this moment, my original self explains my dream and purpose to Selene. Elena and Alice already knew. Once explained, I started the meeting.

”Well, as you know, originally my purpose was to grow my harem. That’s something everyone here understands, right?”

”””Yes...””” (x4)

Hey, you bastard, why are you answering too? Wait, I’m myself... uhmm, I think I understand why sometimes Elena hits me out of nowhere.... well let’s ignore that for now...

”Well, as you already know, everyone here present is part of my harem.”

”Who is part of your harem? Basta... ehem... I mean, go on.”

I’m going to ignore myself and the fact that he almost called me a bastard, when he refused to be part of his own harem, even though he obviously wasn’t included in what I said.

Luckily, I’m not that dumb, and he stopped at the end before self-insulting, the very idiot... I mean, myself. Haahh~...

”Well, let’s talk about the possible prospects and what to do, and most importantly, I want you to tell me your opinion on the matter.”

On the board, I wrote several names of potential prospects and other topics. Four names.

”This... big sister.”

”Yes?” (x2)

Alice asked and unconsciously we both answered, we looked at each other blankly. Damn, I think it was me who was wrong, but Alice was looking at me when she asked me, which confused me, it really is something complicated to use.

Well, even though I’m the fake, I just feel like I’m inside the doppelgänger as usual. In the end, I can come back at any time.

It doesn’t feel like I’m going to develop an independent mindset or anything like that, like in the clone stories. At the end of the day, it just feels weird.... Well, back to the topic...

”Alice, when you address me, do it as Chris.”

”And when it’s me, do it as big sister... so as not to confuse me.”

we both said so that there would be no more confusion, True, this is confusing. But the reason I did it is so that the girls here, especially Alice and Selene, would understand things easier, and even to get used to it myself, since I have to be her and me at the same time.

I’d be in trouble if I answered to the wrong name like right now. And well, the truth is, there was something I wanted to try after, ’huehuehe’.

”This... big... I mean, Chris, I understand Lys, as she is pretty and I’ve seen that she has a good personality too, but Cordelia doesn’t seem to like my big sister. Sometimes I see her giving her piercing looks, like she hates her.”

True, Cordelia hated my Seraphina self for no reason. But what surprises me is that she hasn’t done anything since acedemy started.

I remember that his harassment of my alternative self started from the first week, and we are almost on the third week. Other than the first day, when I personally approached her, she hasn’t done anything else.

It gave me anxiety at that time, as he might attack my clone, which worked on automatic, that’s why he kept me close as one of his lackeys.

And although I could see her status window, I find no hint of attraction to me.

This makes her an indecipherable mystery, to the point of wanting to give up on her. But hey, it’s a postponed topic for now; if nothing happens, nothing happens, and that’s okay too.

Although I feel weird saying this, if there’s no chance of her joining my harem, I’ll just have to let her go. So I explained this to Alice, who seemed the most interested in the subject, and then continued to ask me.

”I understand... but who is Aurora?I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone like that. Besides, when you say Astrid, it’s not that extremely beautiful instructor, is it? Come to think of it, Chris, you’re her assistant... don’t tell me.”

”Yes, she is exactly the instructor astrid, and in fact, I think it’s only a matter of time before she joins us. As for Aurora, she’s Auran; for certain circumstances she is dressed as a man”.

”... Chris, you’re amazing... do not you think so tooSelene?”

”yep...” Selene nodded as she ate a cookie given to her by Alice.

”Kya!, how cute! Can you call me big sister, from now on?”

”uhm...”stated Selene again to Alice, it seems she also fell for Selene’s cuteness, although she herself is in the same category of cuteness, but I won’t ruin her moment.

In fact, Alice seemed to like Selene for how cute she was, but there’s something not adding up. Let’s see, if I’m not mistaken, Selene is the oldest here, followed by Elena, Alice, and lastly, me.

But I’m the oldest sister, Alice the middle one and Selene the youngest.

Hmm... Alice is complicating our relationships even more, but if it works for her, that’s fine. If she’s happy, I’m happy. Besides, Selene gave the nod easily, so it was all good.
