Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 855: Teasing Ji Shuixiu

Originally, the most difficult thing for Ye Fei was how to legitimately pass on this enhanced set of martial arts techniques to Tang Zhizhong. After all, he was Tang Rouʼs father.

He couldnʼt just force him to practice it. It would be best if Tang Zhizhong did it voluntarily.

That way, even if any problems were discovered later, Tang Rou wouldnʼt blame him.

Unexpectedly, before Ye Fei could come up with a plan, Tang Zhizhong came knocking on his own. The two hit it off immediately and, without a care for Tang Rou standing by, they began to teach and learn right away.

The set of techniques that Ye Fei gave to Tang Zhizhong was, overall, extremely powerful. He believed that with just a little practice, Tang Zhizhong could break through his original bottleneck. However, despite its power, this technique had a significant downside.

Once practiced, it would completely block certain meridians, causing the practitioner to permanently lose some functions.

Ye Fei didnʼt clarify these details to Tang Zhizhong, but he was confident that, even if Tang Zhizhong knew, he would still practice without hesitation.

His desire for martial prowess and power far outweighed his interest in women, which was evident from Ji Shuixiuʼs appearance—she had the look of a neglected wife, seemingly without any intimacy for several months.

”My dear mother-in-law, you wonʼt have to suffer like this anymore. Your son-in-law will make sure you are as radiant as ever!”

While teaching Tang Zhizhong, Ye Fei thought to himself with a smug smile.

Though the technique was powerful, Ye Fei had simplified it greatly. By the time Ji Shuixiu brought out the prepared dishes, Tang Zhizhong had already memorized them completely.

He was itching to start practicing but, out of respect for Ye Fei, he endured and finished the late lunch with everyone.

During the meal, nothing unusual happened. Ye Fei even had a pleasant conversation with Tang Zhizhong, which made Tang Rou very happy. She remembered all too well how disappointing her father had been during their last meeting.

However, no one but Ye Fei noticed that Ji Shuixiu had stolen glances at him at least twenty times during the meal, her beautiful eyes occasionally twinkling with an indescribable gleam.

After the meal, Ji Shuixiu began to clear the table, stacking the plates and taking them into the kitchen. Ye Fei took the opportunity to stand up and said, ”Uncle, Rou Rou, you two stay here. Iʼll help Auntie with the cleanup.”

”Iʼll help too!” Tang Rou quickly said, realizing that she had never helped her mother with household chores before and feeling a bit embarrassed.

Ye Fei smiled and said, ”No need. You stay here with Uncle and keep an eye on him. Iʼm sure heʼs eager to start practicing.”

”Yeah, just listening to you explain it once, I feel this technique is really powerful. I canʼt wait to practice it,” Tang Zhizhong admitted, a bit sheepishly.

Tang Rou, though she had been dissatisfied with her father in the past, knew that practicing martial arts was a serious matter.

One mistake could lead to disastrous consequences. Fortunately, her current skill level was much higher than Tang Zhizhongʼs. Even if he were to suffer a setback, she could suppress it. So, she had to stay by his side.

”Alright,” Tang Rou agreed, though she silently vowed to help her mother more with household chores in the future. It wasnʼt that her mother minded, but it was a daughterʼs way of showing her love.

Ye Fei then stood up and followed Ji Shuixiuʼs trail into the kitchen.

The Tang familyʼs new house was a small one, far less spacious than the Liu familyʼs villa. The kitchen and the living room were semi-connected. Besides a door that could be opened and closed, there was a window between them.

The window had a fixed transparent glass panel. From the living room, one could see above the chest of the person in the kitchen.

This unique design added a cozy touch, allowing the wife cooking in the kitchen to occasionally exchange glances with her husband in the living room.

Ye Fei closed the door behind him and quietly locked it before turning to Ji Shuixiu, who was standing by the sink, skillfully washing the dishes.

The sound of the door closing startled Ji Shuixiu. She turned her head and, upon seeing Ye Fei, felt a bit uneasy.

”Why did you come in?” she asked.

”Iʼm here to help you clean up, Auntie,” Ye Fei said with a smile, walking over to stand beside her.

He noticed that standing by the sink, they were facing the living room directly, so he gave Tang Rou, who was looking their way, a bright smile.

The sink wasnʼt very large, and Ye Fei was quite tall and broad-shouldered. As soon as he stood there, their bodies were pressed close together.

Ji Shuixiu instinctively tried to move away, saying, ”No need. Thereʼs not much left. Iʼll be done in a minute.”

Ignoring her, Ye Fei bent down, took a bowl from her hand, poured some dish soap into it, and began to scrub, saying, ”How could I let Auntie do all the work by herself? Weʼre family now. Auntie wouldnʼt want to be formal with me, would she?”

”Well... I suppose,” Ji Shuixiu reluctantly agreed, unable to refuse given Ye Feiʼs words. She bent down slightly as well and continued washing the dishes.

Their bodies were now very close, and since they were both bending their heads to the same level to wash the dishes, they looked like a couple standing shoulder to shoulder, heads almost touching.

Occasionally, as Ji Shuixiu moved slightly, her playful strands of hair would brush against Ye Feiʼs face.

Suddenly, Ye Fei sniffed the air forcefully and said, ”That smells so good!”

”Huh?” Ji Shuixiu was initially confused, but then she turned her head slightly and realized how close their faces were.

She quickly understood what he meant and moved away from him a bit, scolding, ”Donʼt talk nonsense!”
