New Age Of Summoners

Next-day Morning,

Ajax, who was sleeping on the floor, opened his eyes and lazily stood up from the ground.

”Why am I sleeping on the floor when I had a nice comfortable bed beside me,” Ajax rubbed his head lazily and thought about what happened yesterday.

”I stored my rank 1 pills in the inventory but after that everything is a blur” Ajax didn’t remember what happened to him after storing his pills in the inventory.

’Ding,

The host lost consciousness by completely depleting the essence of nature, after refining the rank one pills for seven times.

A system notification rang in his head, which helped him understand what happened to him last night.

”I only had a few units of the essence of nature, yesterday I am too focused on refining the pills and forget to check the spirit consciousness. What would have happened if I tried eighth time, refining the pills?”, Ajax shuddered at the thought of consequences of insufficient essence of nature while refining the pills.

”I need to keep a look at the essence of nature consumption when I refine the pills from the next time,” Ajax added that note in his mind and went to clean himself.

After cleaning himself, Ajax went downstairs to eat the ordered breakfast with other squad members.

”Ajax, are you planning to become an Alchemist?” While eating his breakfast, Captain Edmond asked Ajax calmly without any expression on his face.

”No, but I want to give it a try and refine some pills in my leisure time,” as he said that, Ajax looked at Edmond.

Ajax never saw that expressionless look on Captain Edmond’s face before and wondered what happened.

As for a reason, he wanted to refine the pills and become an alchemist is for the future missions assigned by the system through the quest tab.

Furthermore, he likes the feeling of refining the pills, and his mind felt refreshed after he woke up this morning, which he related to alchemy.

”If you are unable to refine the pills, it best you leave it early and focus on your cultivation and strength for the Champion’s contest,” Edmond suggested Ajax.

As he detected, the burnt pills smell more than a couple of times last night, making him think that Ajax is not gifted with the Alchemy.

In Edmond’s perspective, Ajax is more suited to the Martial way than the Alchemy path. And he thought it’s a waste of time for Ajax to refine pills which are not successful.

”Sure, Captain Edmond,” Ajax replied politely, as he already knows what he is thinking.

When he heard Edmond’s first question, Ajax thought that Captain Edmond has smelled his burnt pills yesterday and assumed that he was not gifted with Alchemy. So he just agreed with him without saying anything.

After finishing his breakfast, Ajax returned to his room.

Before leaving for his room, Ajax politely said to Edmond and Paulin, ”I think I am on the verge of a breakthrough to level 2 of the commander realm, so I want to enter seclusion to breakthrough and I will be unable to attend the sparring session”.

”Sure, I can spar with Glacious until you breakthrough to level 2 of the commander realm”, Paulin instantly agreed as it was a good thing for Ajax to a breakthrough which will increase his battle strength.

Captain Edmond nodded his head in agreement. He felt happy as he thought that Ajax heeded his advice and stopped refining any burnt pills which will waste his time in vain.

In the actual case, Ajax wanted to use his chance to enter the Five-elemental world to explore and cultivate for ten days in there and only 10 hours in here.

Using this chance, he wanted to increase his and his team’s overall strength there.

After returning to his room, Ajax locked his door and checked yesterday’s system notifications.

 ’Ding,

Congratulations to host for refining the rank one pills

 ’Ding,

Mission 1:- Refine the rank one pills are completed.

The reward is stored in the inventory, and please check it.

 ’Ding,

Congratulation to the host for successfully embarking on the path of Alchemy.

 ’Ding,

New mission related to Alchemy is generated in the quest tab please check it.

After seeing all the system notification, Ajax curiously opened the quest tab to check the newly generated Alchemy mission.

’Ding,

   Mission name:- Alchemy maniac

Description:- Refine any type of rank one pills 100 times successfully.

   Mission progress:- 0/100

   Danger rating:- No danger

   Reward:- A Mysterious reward box

   Time limit:- One month

Penalty:- Sealing one major realm of the cultivation.

”Hey system, are you trying to make me into an alchemist or what?”, when he saw the description of the mission, Ajax freaked out.

Refining a pill successfully is not always possible in the Alchemy.

If an alchemist has a 50 percent success rate, he will be considered an elite in that particular rank, so when he saw that the required to refining a 100 times that is in only a month, he was utterly shocked.

”And what’s with that penalty?”, Ajax asked the system.

’Ding,

If the host doesn’t complete the mission in the given time, the host’s cultivation is sealed by one major realm.

For example, the host has the level 1 commander realm’s cultivation level. If you fail to accomplish this mission within the given one month’s time, the host’s cultivation is degraded by the system’s seal to level 1 of the Elite soldier realm.

”What? Are you fucking kidding me?” Ajax cursed at the system to which the system didn’t give any reply as usual.

After cursing the system for a while, they checked his inventory for the reward for accomplishing the refining the rank one pills.

’Ding,

A Basic Fire control alchemy refinement technique skill book

 ’Ding,

Do you want to learn it?

”For free?” Ajax asked the system, as he has no more than 50 units of the essence of nature in his spirit consciousness, so he decided to ask the system first rather than becoming a fool later.
