New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2072: Fake Soul Fruit, Soul Purification

ʼDing,

Divine Rule: Divine Soul Rule.

Awakening: 50 percent.

Effects: None.

ʼDing,

Divine Rule: Divine Spirit Rule.

Awakening: 50 percent.

Effects: None.

Ajax still could not believe his eyes to see that his two newly awakened Special Divine Rules had no effects much less have the Special Effects that he was looking forward to.

ʼHow can it be? Even the Divine World Rule, a Special Divine Rule, has effects under it. Why canʼt these two Special Divine Rules not have any effects?ʼ

He compared these two new Special Divine Rules with the Divine World Rule which was also awakened thanks to a Spirit Tree.

ʼDing,

Divine Rule: Divine World Rule.

Awakening: 50 percent.

Effect: Upon activation, the battle prowess of the user will be increased by 10 times. Special Effect: As long as the user is in the same world as the Higher World Tree he was nurturing, he will remain invincible.

Duration: 10 minutes.

Cooldown: One day.

ʼSee...even the Divine World Rule has an Effect along with a Special Effect.ʼ

Ajax read the information on the Divine World Rule and could not help but compare his two new Special Divine Rules with it.

ʼDing,

The effects of the Divine Spirit Rule and the Divine Soul Rule will be manifested after he ascends to the Heavenly Realm.

Seeing that Ajax was struggling with his new Special Divine Rules, the system informed him. ʼWhat? Their effects be manifested after I ascend to the Heavenly Realm?ʼ

Ajax frowned as he thought, ʼThey canʼt be useful towards my Breakthrough to the High-level Emperor Realm. So, I will be having two namesake Divine Rules.ʼ

He felt that thinking about these two new Divine Rules any longer was wasting his time.

Thus, he decided to focus on the changes brought by the two Spirit Trees that have reached 500,000 years.

ʼDing,

Tree Name: Soul Nourishment Tree (Alma).

Age: 500,000 years.

Basic Effect: It nourishes the souls of all beings that stay close to the tree and strengthens them over time.

Fruits: Soul Protection Fruits, Soul Strengthening Fruits, Soul Regeneration Fruit, Fake Soul Fruit (New).

Abilities: Soul Nourishment, Soul Nest, Soul Devour, Soul Split, Soul Purification (New).

First, he started with the Soul Nourishment Tree which bore a new type of fruit and even unlocked new abilities.

ʼFake Soul Fruit?ʼ

Ajax became curious about the fruit from its names as he directly checked the information on

it.

ʼDing,

Fruit Name: Fake Soul Fruit.

Grade: Quasi-Divine Grade.

Fruit Harvest: It can be harvested once for every 100,000 years.

Effect: When a cultivation consumes it, he can create a Fake Soul in his body which he could use to block a Lightning Strike during the Ascension Tribulation to the Heavenly Realm.

Note: It is a one-time consumable fruit per cultivator.

More Information: No matter how strong the Lightning Strike is, a Fake Soul can sacrifice itself to block the incoming Lightning Strike.

ʼThis is...is an item to increase the chances of ascension for the cultivators.ʼ

Ajax was not surprised that the Soul Nourishment Tree can bear the items that help a cultivator for his ascension to the Heavenly Realm because the tree has borne other fruits that help the cultivator prepare for their ascension.

For example, the Soul Protection Fruit can protect the soul of the cultivator in case of his death, and the Soul Strengthening Fruit makes the soul much stronger to survive the harsh conditions it had to go through without a body to protect.

As for the Soul Regeneration Fruit, as long as there is a trace of the cultivatorʼs soul remaining, the cultivator who already consumed a Soul Regeneration Fruit can regenerate it before looking for the resources to regenerate a new body for him.

ʼHowever, this Fake Soul Fruit is different from those fruits because its sole purpose was to help the cultivator in ascending to the Heavenly Realm.ʼ

Other fruits can be useful for any situation; however, this Fake Soul Fruitʼs sole purpose was to block a Lightning Strike during the Ascension Lightning Tribulation.

ʼAccording to the system, the condensed fake soul can block the Lightning Strike regardless of its power.ʼ

Suddenly, Ajax thought of something as his eyes lit up, ʼIf a cultivator uses his Fake Soul to block the Eighth Lightning Strike, and activate his Divine Rule for the Ninth Lightning Strike, isnʼt ascending to the Heavenly Realm as easy as taking stairs to a higher floor?ʼ

Ajax had already found a way to block the first six Lightning Strikes through external means like formations, barriers, weapons and even other cultivation resources.

Whatʼs more, he even learned that a Cultivator can avoid the most powerful Lightning Strike, the Ninth Lightning Strike by activating the Divine Rule, leaving him with only two Lightning Strikes namely, the Seventh and Eighth.

And now, he found another absolute treasure that could help him block the powerful lightning strike between the two.

ʼIf I can use the Divine Shadow Stone, I can block the Seventh Lightning Strike; however, I want a safe method for my family, friends, subordinates, the contracted spirit beasts and

even the Elemental Spirits.ʼ

Thatʼs right!

When Ajax said that he had a way to block the first six lightning strikes, along with the ninth Lightning Strike, he was saying that for every cultivator.

ʼIf only I can get my hands on more Divine Shadow Stones, I donʼt have to worry about anyone failing the Ascension Tribulations to the Heavenly Realm.ʼ

If anyone heard Ajaxʼs thoughts, they would curse Ajax to death because, in the entire universe, no one was more powerful than Ajax now.

The main reason why they would curse is because each cultivator was struggling to ascend to the Heavenly Realm and Ajax was planning to find a safe way to ascend to the Heavenly Realm for thousands of living beings.

ʼBy the time I ascend to the Heavenly Realm, I will have another five Fake Soul Fruits and adding this one, I will have six Fake Soul Fruits.ʼ

Ajax planned in his head, ʼInstead of giving to those who have higher chances of ascending to the Heavenly Realm like Raweth, Twilight, Snow and others, I shouldʼd better give these Fake Soul Fruits to those with fewer chances.ʼ

After witnessing the Ascension Tribulations of Draven and his wife, Ajax was quite confident in ascending to the Heavenly Realm without any external support.

Of course, that doesnʼt mean he was not going to use any external support; however, he decided not to use the limited cultivation resources like Divine Shadow Stone and the Fake Soul Fruits for himself or any other genius cultivators under him.

Instead, he decided to use them on the average or mediocre cultivators to increase their

ascension rate to 100 percent.

ʼFor now, I will store this Fake Soul Fruit and see who among the mediocre acquaintances will trigger the Ascension Tribulation first.ʼ

With that thought in mind, Ajax stored the Fake Soul Fruit in a Jade Box before storing it in his

Divine Inner World.

ʼLetʼs check out the Spirit Treeʼs new ability.ʼ

After that, Ajax focused on the newly awakened ability of the Soul Nourishment Tree.

ʼDing,

Ability Name: Soul Purification.

Effect: Using it, the Spirit Tree can purify all the negative emotions, curses and even

memories of the souls, helping them start a new life in a new body from the womb.

ʼA simple but very effective skill for someone who wants to forget his past life and enjoy the new skill from the beginning.ʼ

Ajax understood the exact use of the skill and at the same time, he felt it was a skill that he

could make full use of.

ʼWhat if I use this skill on the souls of the genius cultivators, spirit beasts and demons in my

possession?ʼ

If Ajax wanted, he could easily help all the souls in his possession to create new bodies;

however, the problem was, that he couldnʼt tell what intentions they would have towards

him.

Moreover, if they have memories from their past life, it might help them become stronger in a short time; however, their loyalty will also lie somewhere else other than Ajax. Ajax didnʼt want to always worry about someone backstabbing him or destroying the worlds

in his absence because each one of these souls could become powerful entities that could dominate the entire universe in the future.

Therefore, Ajax felt that the safest way for him was to purify all these souls and help them start a new life in his worlds, making them loyal to the worlds.

ʼIt will take a decade before they start cultivating and in another couple of decades, they could easily reach the High-level Emperor Realm Cultivation.ʼ

ʼThereafter, it wonʼt take much longer for them to start ascending to the Heavenly Realm.ʼ

In short, Ajax planned that it wouldnʼt even take 100 years before they started ascending to

the Heavenly Realm if he started working on them right now.

ʼI will start the process after checking on the Tree of Blessing.ʼ

However, he was not in a hurry as one or two daysʼ delay wouldnʼt harm the souls in his

possession anyway.

ʼTree of Blessing, what kind of surprises do you have for me?ʼ

The Soul Nourishment Tree has huge surprises for him with a Spirit Fruit and a perfect ability

that he was in urgent need of.

Also, the Tree of Blessing has reached the same age as the Soul Nourishment Tree, Ajax was

curious about the benefits it would give to him.

ʼA New Fruit and a New Ability....just like the Soul Nourishment Tree?ʼ

Ajaxʼs eyes lit up as he hurriedly focused on them.
