New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1472 Overpowering the Second-Order Demon Apostle The newcomer was a second-order demon apostle. Moreover, he was a golden demon apostle.

”Here comes the big fish. I have been waiting for you.”

Even though Ajax knew that the strength of the second-order demon apostle was the mid-level emperor realm, he was not worried.

Instead, he revealed a slight smile, making the second-order demon apostles frown.

”Are you the one who killed my subordinates and the mutated bronze demon king?”

Nevertheless, the golden demon apostle controlled his anger and asked.

Even though he had lost his subordinate, the golden demon apostle was more concerned about the mutated bronze demon kingʼs death.

If the Golden Demon Emperor finds out that his golden goose (mutated bronze demon) was killed, he would be furious and vent his anger on the Demon Apostle that was in charge of the mutated bronze demon world.

Hence, he wanted to capture the killer of the bronze demon king and bring him to the Golden Demon Emperor.

ʼEven though all the demon apostles in charge of this world will be punished, if I bring him back, I might be punished less.ʼ

This was the thought in the Golden Demon Apostleʼs head.

”I will kill him. So what?”

Since he had already decided to fight the Golden Demon Apostle, Ajax scoffed at him before shouting, ”Everyone, attack.”

”Roar”

”Aargh”

As soon as he finished his words, all the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts rushed towards the Golden Demon Apostle who was flying on the usual leaf-like artifact.

ʼScreechʼ

ʼGolden beakʼ

Alder was the fastest one to attack the Golden Demon Apostle along with his 10 devour eagle kings. The beaks of all the devour eagle kings turned golden as they shone brightly.

”Huh? You want to kill me with these bunch of clones?”

Even though Alder and the other devour eagle kings were fast, the Golden Demon Apostle was able to dodge their attacks easily.

After dodging their attacks, the Golden Demon Apostle scoffed at Ajax, asking Ajax whether he was going to kill him with his summons.

”Do you want me to use my trump cards already?”

However, Ajax didnʼt let the demon apostleʼs words bother him; instead, he replied with a slight smile.

”If you donʼt use your trump cards, you might not get the chance to use them in the future.”

As soon as he finished his words, the demon apostle rushed toward Ajax.

”Zan, Dan, now.”

Ajax ordered the defence team, the two golden bear kings, to activate their defensive skills.

”Golden Defence.”

Two golden layers appeared around Ajax and the few other summons standing beside Ajax.

”Do you think a defensive skill summoned by two mid-level bestial kings would stop my attack?”

”Break”

A golden sword appeared in the demon apostle as he jumped off his flying artifact and used his full strength to break the barrier.

”Abyssal beast god bloodline, activate.”

Looking at the demon apostle in the mid-air, Ajax revealed a slight smile as he shouted out loud.

ʼTime Haltʼ

ʼDimensional shacklesʼ

ʼBlindʼ

ʼAbsolute Darknessʼ

ʼTen-thousand lightning weaponsʼ

ʼPure Blood Bombsʼ

ʼDevouring blastʼ

.

.

It was the signal for everyone to use their respective skills.

Halo and Prophis decreased the speed of the golden demon apostle whereas Ajax and Necros distracted him.

Where Cerauno and other attacking-type summons used their powerful skills at the Golden Demon Apostle.

ʼWhat the hell is happening?ʼ

The moment he felt that his speed was greatly decreased, the demon apostle knew he had fallen into the trap.

ʼBoomʼ

Before he could do anything, he was hit by multiple long-range attacks which hit him at the same time.

ʼDid I get him?ʼ

Ajax was not sure because he still didnʼt get any system notification.

”Everyone, letʼs go for the second…”

ʼDing,

The host killed a ranked demon apostle. The host gained 10000 spirit points and 10000 bestial points.

ʼDing,

Added the death of the ranked demon apostle to the bonus mission. Please continue to get more rewards.

Just as he was about to order his summons to repeat the same attacks once again, Ajax received a couple of system notifications, making him reveal a slight smile.

ʼPhew…so, I can even kill the mid-level demon emperors.ʼ

Even though Ajax looked confident earlier, he was not sure whether he could really kill the ranked Golden Demon Apostle because not only did he have the mid-level emperor realm cultivation but he also had the battle prowess much higher than the regular mid-level demon emperors.

ʼIt is because I caught that demon apostle off-guard.ʼ

Nevertheless, Ajax knew the exact reason why he was able to kill the Golden Demon Apostle. So, he was not arrogant and kept an eye on the sky.

”Retrieve those three flying leaf-like artifacts.”

Ajax asked his summons to collect the artifacts as he silently said, ʼWith the addition of these artifacts, I can create three more exploration teams.ʼ

The more exploration teams he had, the sooner he could collect the world cores. The more cores he could gather, the sooner his cultivation would be progressed along with the nurturing of the worlds under him along with the lesser world tree.

ʼScreechʼ

The five low-level bestial king realm devour eagle kings consumed the demon apostleʼs corpse and increased their cultivation.

ʼLooks like I took him by complete surprise. He was not even able to release his soul.ʼ

Looking at the demon apostleʼs corpse, Ajax silently thought in his head.

If a cultivator could not release the soul before his body was destroyed, his soul would also dissipate. So, Ajax was not surprised when he saw the demon apostle was unable to escape even in his soul form.

”Rumble”

While Ajax was waiting for the more demon apostles, the entire world started shaking.

ʼWhatʼs happening now? I am yet to retrieve the world core.ʼ

Without retrieving the world core, the mission ʼSave the elemental spirit worldʼ would still be ongoing. So, he frowned and hurriedly checked the reason for the rumbling of the world.

”You are able to kill a single second-order demon apostle by surprise, what if two second-order demon apostles attack you?”

Soon, two golden demons flew down from the sky slowly as they mocked Ajax.
