New Age Of Summoners

315 Twin-tailed Lynx

”Wait! Are you mocking me?” Ajax was shocked that he was mocked by the injured lynx.

According to his last two experiences, the twin-tailed Lynx should be excited after seeing the primitive stone; however, here it was mocking him.

”Ajax, so you used low-level primitive stones to tame the previous two rank 6 spirit beasts. But, you have to remember that all the spirit beasts are not the same,” Kraiww looked at the stone in Ajaxʼs hand and asked while controlling his laughter from the spirit beastʼs mocking towards Ajax.

Not only Kraiww but other elders also did their best to control their laughter.

For the evolved spirit beasts like Birdmen, the primitive stones donʼt have much effect and only high-level primitive stones would help them in improving their bloodline purity.

Similarly, some unevolved spirit beasts like Twin Tailed Lynx, they also donʼt have much use of the low-level primitive stones or mid-level primitive stones due to their already highly purified bloodline.

Ajax also knew this and quietly exchanged the low-level primitive stone with the mid-level primitive stone from the inventory and looked at the Lynx.

ʼRoarʼ

This time, the lynx didnʼt mock Ajax and at the same time didnʼt show any interest in the stone in his hands making Ajax feel something was wrong with the injured Lynx.

ʼIf it doesnʼt show interest in the mid-level primitive stone, then its bloodline must be at least 30 percent purified. But, why is this beast still not evolved or gained sufficient knowledge to communicate with others?ʼ Ajax thought about the reasons behind the Lynxʼs intelligence.

If any spirit beasts had bloodline, they could understand the basic gestures and some words; however, here it was unable to understand his words even when its bloodline purity was high.

ʼSystem, do you know the reason?ʼ Ajax felt that all his previous knowledge about spirit beasts was wrong and wanted to know what he was missing about the spirit beasts bloodlines.

ʼDing,

Not all spirit beasts can evolve. They need fortuitous encounters to evolve.

ʼDing,

As for the spirit beastʼs intelligence, it varies from one spirit beast to another.

ʼDing,

Also, due to the lack of human presence and the evolved tribes didnʼt want to tame other unevolved spirit beasts made them unable to even understand the basic gestures.

Unexpectedly, the system gave the answers to his question making him surprised.

Originally, he didnʼt think the system would give him any reply; however, it not only gave him a reply but gave him three replies.

ʼOh. So, itʼs like this,ʼ After seeing the three system notifications on the holographic screen, Ajax understood something about the spirit beasts from the five elemental world.

Whereas in the human world many cultivators regularly tamed the spirit beasts and eventually, the spirit beasts in the wild were able to learn human ways and were able to transform into humans after reaching the specific cultivation realm.

So, the wild spirit beasts in the human world were way more intelligent than the wild spirit beasts in the non-human worlds.

ʼSigh… I should help them once I have sufficient strength,ʼ Ajax thought in his head as he looked at the injured lynx.

The reason behind his thinking was if these spirit beasts were intelligent enough they could avoid the pointless battle between the spirit beasts and the Hawk with a simple talk.

If the wild spirit beasts were intelligent enough they could have easily found out that they were being used by the older birdman and decidedly to help them after he had sufficient strength.

According to Ajax, in this word, almost all the things would be solved if you have sufficient strength.

ʼHowever, it was not mocking me, so I still got some chance to tame it,ʼ Ajax was not dejected and felt happy that he still had a chance and without hesitation, he took out a small cup of mini thunder poolʼs water and splashed at it.

As soon as the water fell on the injured body of the twin-tailed Lynx, all its wounds started recovering at a visible pace.

ʼPurrʼ

Lynx lightly purred as though it was enjoying the feeling of recovering at a fast pace.

ʼDo you want some more?ʼ Ajax took out another small cup of water from the inner world and asked while carefully observing it.

Although what Ajax doing seemed suicide for many, in fact, itʼs not.

After thoroughly beaten up by the elders it had lost all the hope of surviving from the Hawk tribe.

However, when someone was trying to help it with some miracle water that not only helped it heal its injuries but also started purifying its bloodline.

What does that mean? It meant it was becoming stronger with the help of that water. But, the ecstasy feeling only lasted for a few seconds before its healing speed decreased along with the purification of the bloodline.

Just as it was feeling helpless, it once again saw the being in front of it took out the same water out of nowhere and asked something which it barely understood and immediately nodded its head.

ʼGood, you look more intelligent than Monkey and Kittyʼ When Ajax saw that the injured Lynx nod its head towards his question, he felt it was more intelligent than the previous two rank 6 spirit beasts that he formed the spirit contract with and moved towards it without any hesitation.

ʼPlease donʼt make any abrupt actions,ʼ Ajax prayed in his heart while moving towards it.

Ajax thought that if the lynx did something unexpected, he would use his absolute darkness and Necros, who also kept an eye on it, was ready to use Blind on it.

At the present state of the twin-tailed Lynx, Ajax was 99 percent sure that, if he uses both ʼAbsolute Darknessʼ and ʼBlindʼ, it would definitely die after experiencing some horrible nightmares, so Ajax hoped it would not act unexpectedly and help him finish the ʼA+ʼ danger rating mission.

The twin-tailed Lynx also slowly moved towards him for the sake of the lightning poolʼs water.

When he saw the slow movement of the Lynx, Ajax felt happy and crushed the mid-level primitive stone into the small cup and mixed it with the water.

As soon as the crushed powder dissolved into the water, it gave a tempting scent to the lynx which made it even more excited making it rush towards Ajax without any fear.

ʼDrink slowly,ʼ Ajax allowed it to drink the thunder poolʼs water and used his other hand to place it on its head and started his contracting process.

The reason Ajax didnʼt enter into its spirit consciousness was that he knew that the Lynx was in a very weak state and there was really no need for him to enter into its spirit consciousness for forming a spirit contract; instead, he could directly form a contract from the outside.

ʼDamn, he is using the thunder poolʼs water as common water,ʼ

ʼPlease ask him to stop using the invaluable water like that?ʼ

The elders, who were observing Ajax, felt that their hearts would explode if they continued watching Ajaxʼs actions.

”Hahaha, finally I am here,” As they were in their own thoughts, they heard a familiar eerie voice and hurriedly looked at the direction from which it came.
